सृष्टि निर्माण और जिज्ञासा-२

सृष्टि की उत्पति  के विषय में हमारे शास्त्र कहते हैं कि भगवान् नारायण की नाभि कमल से ब्रह्मा जी का प्रागट्य हुआ । (यद्यपि अधिकाँश स्थानों पर मनुष्य शरीर को नव छिद्र माय माना गया है, परन्तु यहाँ उन दो गुप्त या मर्म स्थानों का वर्णन करना अनिवार्य है जो गर्भावस्था में तो छिद्र होते हैं, परन्तु गर्भ के पश्चात बंद हो जाते हैं, और ब्रह्मतत्व की प्राप्ति हो, तभी पुनः खुलते हैं । अन्यथा साधारणतः देह नवछिद्र्मयि  ही रहती है ।) दो आँखें, दो कान, दो नासिका छिद्र, एक मुख, एक गुदा व् एक शिश्न ये तो सामान्य नव छिद्र हैं, परन्तु नाभि व् ब्रह्मरंध्र ये दो गुप्त छिद्र हैं । नाभि के द्वारा ही जीव का ब्रह्मा से संपर्क टूटकर इस लोक से जुड़ता है ।

इसी कारण पुराणिक मिथकों में ब्रह्मा को विष्णु की नाभि प्रस्फुटित कमल की कर्णिका पर बैठा दिखाया जाता है और ब्रह्मरंध्र से पूर्व विधृति के मार्ग से ही जीव की देह में ब्रह्म का अंश प्रविष्ट होता है तथा ब्रह्मज्ञान  प्राप्त होने पर योगियों के प्राण ब्रह्मरंध्र के मार्ग से ही ऊधर्वगति प्राप्त करते हैं । ब्रह्मा अजीब स्थिति में पड़ गए । वे समझ नहीं पा रहे थे कि मेरा प्रादुभाव क्यों हुआ ? मुझे क्या करना है ? तभी आकाशवाणी हुयी, तप कर तप कर । इसके बाद ब्रह्मा समाधि में स्थित हुए । उससे सामर्थ्य प्राप्त करके उन्होंने अपने संकल्प से इस सृष्टि की रचना की । अर्थात हमारी सृष्टि की उत्त्पति ही तप से हुई । इसका मूल भाव तप है । हमारे शास्त्रों में अनेक प्रकार के तप बताये गए हैं । उनमे एक तप है - निष्काम कर्म, सेवा, परोपकार इसी तप को भगवान् कृष्ण ने गीता में 'कर्मयोग' कहा तथा ज्ञान, भक्ति और योग की भाँती इस साधना को भी भगवान् की प्राप्ति में, मोक्ष की प्राप्ति में समर्थ बताया । व्यक्ति अपने तथा अपने परिवार के प्रति तो उदार रहता है, परन्तु दूसरों की उपेक्षा करता है । वह स्वयं को दूसरों से भिन्न मानता है । इसी का नाम अज्ञान है । जन्म मरण का, शोक कष्ट का, उत्पीड़ना व् भ्रष्टाचार आदि पापों का मूल कारण है । भेदभाव और द्वेष ही मृत्यु है तथा अभेद, अनेकता में एकता, सब में एक को देखना, सबकी उन्नति चाहना ही जीवन है ।

समस्त बुराईयों का मूल है स्वार्थ और स्वार्थ अज्ञान से पैदा होता है । स्वार्थी मनुष्य जीवन की वास्तविक उन्नति एवं ईश्वरीय शान्ति से बहुत दूर होता है । न तो उसमे श्रेष्ठ समझ होती है और न ही उत्तम चरित्र । वह सदा धन और प्रतिष्ठा पाने की योजनायें बनाया करता है । मनुष्य वास्तविक कल्याण में स्वार्थ बहुत बड़ी बाधा है, इस बाधा को निस्वार्थ सेवा एवं सत्संग के द्वारा दूर किया जाता है । स्वार्थ में यह दुर्गुण है कि वह मन को संकीर्ण तथा ह्रदय को संकुचित बना देता है । जब तक ह्रदय में 'मैं और मेरे' की लघुग्रंथी होती है, तब तक सर्वव्यापक सत्ता की असीम सुख शान्ति नहीं मिलती और हम अद्भुत पवित्र प्रेरणा प्राप्त नहीं कर पाते । इसके लिए ह्रदय का व्यापक होना आवश्यक है । इसमे निःस्वार्थ सेवा एक अत्यंत उपयोगी साधन है । निष्काम कर्म जीवन के परम लक्ष्य को प्राप्त करने की पहली सीढ़ी है ।

इश्वाप्नोषिद  में लिखा है - अखिल ब्रह्माण्ड में जो कुछ भी जड़ या चेतन है, वह ईश्वर से व्याप्त है । उस ईश्वर को साथ रखते हुए ही उसका त्याग पूर्वक भोग करो । किसी धन अथवा भोग्य पदार्थ में आसक्त मत होओ । यहाँ पर त्याग पहले और भोग बाद में ।  यदि व्यक्ति अपने परिवार में ही आसक्त रहे, तो वह विश्व प्रेम में विकसित नहीं कर सकेगा, विश्व भ्रातृत्व नहीं पनपा सकेगा । सभी के बच्चे अपने बच्चों के सामान नहीं लगेंगे । व्यक्ति का प्रेम, जो व्यापक ईश्वर सत्ता को अपने हृदय में  प्रगट कर सकता है , वह प्रेम, नश्वर परिवार के मोह में ही फंस कर रह जाएगा । परमार्थ को साधने के लिए कलह, अशांति तथा सामाजिक दोषों को निर्मूल करने के लिए विश्व प्रेम को विकसित करना होगा । संकुचिता को छोड़कर हृदय को फैलाना होगा ।

निःस्वार्थ सेवा के द्वारा अद्वैत्व की भावना पैदा होती है । दुःखियो के प्रति शाब्दिक सहानुभूति दिखाने वालों से तो दुनिया भरी पड़ी है, परन्तु जो दुःखि को अपने हिस्से में से दे दे, ऐसे कोमल ह्रदय वाले लोग विरले ही होते हैं । निःस्वार्थ सेवा चित के दोषों को दूर करती है । जिसका चित्त शुद्ध नहीं, वह भले ही शास्त्रों में पारंगत हो, वेदान्त का विद्वान् हो, उसे आंतरिक शान्ति नहीं नील सकती । सेवा का हेतु क्या है ? चित्त की शुद्धि ! अहंकार द्वेष, इर्ष्या, घृणा आदि कुभावों की निवृति, भेद भाव की समाप्ति । इससे जीवन का दृष्टिकोण एवं कर्म क्षेत्र विशाल होगा, ह्रदय उदार होगा, सुषुप्त शक्तियां जाग्रत होंगी, विश्वात्मा के प्रति एकता आनंद की झलकें मिलाने लगेंगी । सब में एक और एक में सब ....की अनुभूति होगी । इसी भावना के विकास से समाज को जोड़ा जा सकता है ।

सृष्टि चक्र - कोई  एक नियम पूरे ब्रह्माण्ड में व्याप्त है । इसे आप कोई भी नाम दे सकते हैं ऋतू। धर्म, लोगोस अथवा सत्यार्थ । यह नियम पूरे विराट या द्विक क्षेत्र को एक ही ले में बांधे हुए हैं । इसी नियम के सहारे पृथ्वी और दूसरे ग्रह अपनी कक्षा में  घूम रहे हैं । ऋतुएँ आ जा रही हैं । बीज अंकुर बन कर बड़ा हो रहा है, फिर वृक्ष बन कर करोड़ों बीजों को जन्म दे रहा है । इसी नियम के तहत हर तरह का चयापचय खिलकर मुरझा रहा है । विज्ञान की भाषा में इसे Microsm कहा जाता है । फिर वही सब जो बाहर घट रहा है । भीतर अर्थात देह के भीतर भी घाट रहा है । उसी तरह एक लय  में बंधा है । माँ के गर्भ में बीज पड़ रहा है । शिशु का जन्म हो रहा है । शरीर के भीतर खून दौड़ रहा है । फेफड़े हवा पी कर छोड़ रहे हैं । पेट में रोटी जाकर स्वाहा हो रही है । आंतें उच्छिष्ट को लगातार बाहर फेंक रही हैं ।

शिशु, किशोर फिर युवा हो रहा है । धीरे धीरे देह के पुर्जे घिस रहे हैं । थकान बिंदु आने पर एक दिन इन्द्रयाँ जवाब दे रही हैं । कभी आँखों में अन्धेरा छाया, कभी दांतों ने टूटना शुरू किया । कभी हाथों में कंपन्न, कभी बहरापन । आते आते एक दिन ऐसा भी आता है कि शरीर नामवाला यह कारखाना  ठप हो जाता है । बाहर प्रकृति में मोटे तौर पर पांच तत्व पृथ्वी, जल, अग्नि, आकाश और हवा कर्मरत हैं, जो शरीर को भी चलाते हैं ।

वैज्ञानिक कहते हैं ये तत्व पांच नहीं एक सौ  अठानावें (198) है । हो सकता है, कल इनकी संख्या दो सौ (200) भी हो जाए । इन्हीं सब के जोड़ से शरीर में जो हरकत पैदा होती है, उसे जीवन कहा जाता है । 

Optimism has the biggest healing power

We human are the only creation of God with power of reasoning and a powerful mind. Its functioning is like a powerful magnet. We go through some thoughts and the magnetic power is emitted and that is the power of mind. Under this power, mental healing, healing of relationships and physical healing and so many other miracles happen daily.

Our body is really the product of our thoughts. If we start thinking that we are fit, we start becoming fit. The reason is our positive thoughts turn into actions and ultimately into results.

In this busy world, our life is full of stress. Adults are stressed, regarding their financial condition, students for their studies and so on. All stress begins with one negative thought. The effect is stress, but the cause is negative thinking. No matter what you have manifested, all can change with a small positive thought

We always think of changing our lives & such thoughts are normal as a human being ...We always have a desire & passion to work harder, to sleep less, all because we want the coming years be better than the past ones... But, sometimes or most of the times people around you & society disappoint you by some words like “That’s impossible”, “someone like you can’t..”, “Just give up”, “You can’t do that”, “Do not even try it”. Do you agree with me?

You might have noticed that whenever a person becomes ill he takes the prescribed medicines, but have you ever noticed the reason of his healing? Well, a person takes prescribed medicines with the thought that it shall heal him. Medicines do work in the process of healing but the thought of healing has a larger role. So positive thought, brings you back to good health. And people with such attitudes generally enjoy life more.

Optimism is a resource of healing. Optimists are more likely to overcome pain and adversity in their efforts to improve their medical treatments outcome conversely. Pessimism seems to aggravate ill health. We seem to develop a tendency toward either optimism or pessimism at an early age. And for that we have to work on our immune system because immune system responds to your thoughts, emotions and actions. In order to make your immune system function better, staying fit, eating right and managing stress are important factors and in addition create positive expectations for health and healing, open you to humour friendship and love.

So illness is something that can’t exist in a body that have harmonious thoughts .Write your illness a letter. Tell it that you don’t need it anymore and that your immune system is now ready to finish it off. Become a cheerleader for your immune system. Talk to it and encourage it to be strong and keep fighting.

Put the power of peace into your thoughts. Feel the power of peace throughout your life. When your thoughts are focused on conflict, those thoughts are in conflict with each other, that drains their power and effectiveness away

Instead of looking for excuses to be in conflict, think of reasons to be at peace. Instead of always striving to get an advantage allow the ultimate advantage of peace to easily and naturally flow from your centre.

Your true purpose is not in conflict with anything. Though you will always face challenges, you never have to fight. For you can meet those challenges with love and grace and the positive power of peaceful purpose. Instead of getting caught up in the conflict, with the power of peace you can find a positive way to successfully move beyond it. No one can take peace away from you when you step forward and offer it first. Keep peace in your thoughts, and put real meaningful power in your life.

Why We Disagree?

The Christian is not to become a Hindu or a Buddhist, nor a Hindu or a Buddhist to become a Christian. But each must assimilate the spirit of the others and yet preserve his individuality and grow according to his own law of growth.

I will tell you a little story. You have heard the eloquent speaker who has just finished say, “Let us cease from abusing each other,” and he was very sorry that there should be always so much variance.

A frog lived in a well. It has lived there for a long time. It was born there and brought up there, yet was a little small frog. Of course the evolutionists were not there then to tell us whether the frog lost its eyes or not, but, for our story's sake, we must take it for granted that it had its eyes, and that it every day cleansed the water of all worms and bacilli that lived in it with an energy that would do credit to our modern bacteriologists. In this way it went on and became a little sleek and fat. Well, one day another frog that lived in the sea came and fell into the well.

“Where are you from?”

“I am from the sea.”

“The sea! How big is that? Is it as big as my well?'' and he took a leap from one side of the well to the other.

“My friend,” said the frog from the sea, “how do you compare the sea with your little well?”

Then the frog took another leap and asked, “Is your sea so big?”

“What nonsense you speak, to compare the sea with your well!”

“Well, then,” said the frog of the well, “nothing can be bigger than my well; there can be nothing bigger than this; this fellow is a liar, so turn him out.”

That has been the difficulty all the while.

I am a Hindu; I am sitting in my own little well and thinking that the whole world is my little well. The Christian sits in his little well and thinks the whole world is his well. The Mohammedan sits in his little well thinks that is the whole world. I have to thank you of America for the great attempt you are making to break down the great barriers of this little world of ours, and hope that, in the future, the Lord will help you to accomplish your purpose.

The Purpose of Life-2

Past Life wanting to know, who I was in my past life

Before we tread into the domain of Past Life... we need to understand the present and the future carefully. Before indulging in our Past Life we also need to know the purpose of life journey as a whole.

Starting from the beginning... in the chronological order as the evolution took place... we shall find that we started the journey as an Amoeba (single cell formation)... this was the first manifestation which occurred in the life of every Human Being.

Travelling further into the Past Life we find the evolutionary tendencies existing within every living being prompted this single cell formation to multiply into two cell formation and finally multi-cell organisms. (All these form the core of Past Life of every Human Being).

With passage of time... the multi-cell organism evolved into an insect, then into plant life, an animal and finally as a Human Being. It takes an average of about 7.3 million manifestations before every journey culminates into the level of a Human Being. A long journey of about 80 earthly million years!

This is by no standard a small journey by our Soul / Atman आत्मा existing within every living being. Here while talking of Past Life we also need to understand that the journey is being undertaken by the Soul within every living being and our body... the manifest from is but the outer covering for every Soul / Atman आत्मा which is necessitated for our soul / Atman आत्मा cannot remove the dross from within on its own. It requires a body for this purpose.

Our Soul / Atman आत्मा never desires to look back into the Past Life... then why is it so that the manifest body... the form of a Human Being strongly desires to look back into the Past Life. Knowing very well that it is not possible to retrace our steps and walk into our Past Life... still the desire within most human beings to look back into the Past Life is very strong.

Why is it so... why do we not get out of the clutches of the remembrances of our Past Life (if any) forever? Is it by any means possible to look back into the Past Life... no, it is not within the means of an average Human Being to look back into the Past Life but some astrologers and people with Tantric powers can look back into our Past Life. But to what avail!

Trying to look back into the Past Life carries no meaning... what we were in our Past Life, what is our relationship with our Past Life, maybe after knowing some incidents of the Past Life we may be able to change our future life... is the hope of many, why?

Why do we fail to understand that such a phenomenon of reflecting back into the Past Life is not permitted by God ? Had it been so... every Human Being, rather every living being would have remembered all the events of past lives... but the truth is absolutely adverse? We do not carry even faint memories of our Past Life the moment we step into the present life.

Remember for a moment that if you come to know that the best friend of yours in this life was the cause of your death in the immediate Past Life... would you be able to carry the same relationship as you are doing it now? Maybe... never! Also if you come to know that you were born into the house of your present parents to avenge your death in one of your past lives... then what would be your fate in this life? Would you continue to give the same respect to your parents... or maybe you go a step further and become the cause of death of your parents in this life!

The total crux of the Past Life is relegated by the power of karma कर्म. It is karma कर्म and karma कर्म alone which plays a very vital role from one manifestation to another. The complete residual balance of our acts and omissions in a particular life is carried forward to the next life only through the process of karma कर्म. As we perform so shall we get... nothing more or less!

Whatever was the result of our earlier manifestation lead us to the next manifestation. If the balance of karma resulted in our being born in the house of a cobbler... then, by no means it was possible that we would have been born in the house of a king. Yet, if we desire so in present life then we need to perform the Karma कर्म accordingly in present life and only if the balance of karma कर्म in present life at the end of life permits our being born in the house of a king in next manifestation... it shall be so and none can change our destiny!

On the contrary... if the Karma कर्म (the actions performed by us in totality) performed by us in present life demands our being born in the house of a farmer in the next life than it shall hold good... come whatever may! None can change the destiny of any being except the being himself. Even God Almighty who always acts as on onlooker (Dhrishta दृष्टा as we call it in Hinduism) never interferes in the working of his.

The balance of karma कर्म from one life to another gets passed on to the next life through the complex process of chromosomes which get activated during the union of the parents. The child thus born carries the balance karma कर्म of all the previous lives one has lived. It is simply like the balance of accounts in a balance sheet which get carried forward from one year to another.

Soul / Atman आत्मा having a light of 16 Sun lights, but the light is covered by the Karma कर्म (As kavatch कवच) these karma कर्म covered carried forward with the soul / Atma आत्मा.

If we are talking of the year 2004 then we are only concerned with the closing balance of the year 2003 for the closing balance of the year 2002 was already incorporated in the balance sheet of the year 2003.

We also must remember that the present phase of life is a part of the total journey of 84 Lakh Yoni लाख योनि manifestations which can occur in the life of a Soul (Atman आत्मा as in Hinduism). It is at the end of the journey that the Soul liberates for ever from the cycle of birth and death... and subsequently the Human Being is said to gain salvation / moksha मोक्ष in Hinduism.

The journey for the Soul from the first manifestation as an amoeba to the last manifestation as a Mahavira महावीर, Gautama Buddha गौतम बुद्ध, Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed... is spread over a maximum of 84 Lakh Yoni लाख योनि manifestations. It is purely dependent upon every Human Being when one desires to curtail the journey and achieve the state of Salvation Moksha मोक्ष.

We also need to remember that contrary to the standard practices in account books... some events of past lives do not fructify in that particular manifestation or the next. It is possible that the karma कर्म enacted upon in a particular manifestation may fructify four manifestations later and this is the cause of all agony existing on Earth. Why so?

While deliberating on the subject of Past Life... we need to remember that on the spiritual plane... whatever phase of life we are passing through is not dependent upon the balance of karma कर्म of the earlier lives and the karma कर्म performed by us in present life alone. It is also possible that a certain karma कर्म performed by us in one of our previous lives may all of a sudden fructify and spoil the game (known as Prarabdha Karma प्रारब्ध कर्म in Hinduism). The vice versa may also happen.

Explaining the theory of Past Life further... we need to understand that we sometimes find that many people who continue to flout the set patterns of the society by carrying out a horde of sins yet continue to enjoy privileges which should not be available to them. Explaining this further... such a phenomenon is only possible for these people have in their store... a huge asset of pious deeds performed in Past Life.

It is only when the accumulated balance of the pious deeds gets nullified in present life shall these people face the wrath of the society. Never before! To the contrary we also find good people carrying out pious deeds in present life and yet continue to suffer. It is only because they have a good negative balance of karma कर्म from the Past Life in their hold and unless this negative balance (from the Past Life) is nullified by the pious deeds of the present life... such people can never enjoy happiness.

Trying to understand the complex process of the Past Life is not difficult, yet trying to get back into the Past Life carries no meaning for if we are suffering in present life... we need to carry out pious deeds and accumulate Punya Karma पुण्य कर्म (positive balance of karma कर्म) in present life without heeding to the Past Life in any way. There is no other way to come out of the negative Past Life.

Life has been made like that by God Almighty. None can challenge his authority. Why brood over the Past Life and spoil the present life. If we are to get out of the ills faced by us in present life and which resulted because of the Past Life... the only way out is never thinking of the Past Life and concentrating on the affairs of the present life in order to accumulate more and more of Punya Karma पुण्य कर्म (positive karma कर्म) in our favour.

This is the only way out of our Past Life! Why spoil the future by indulging in acts (trying to regress into the Past Life) detrimental to our leading a happy life in next manifestation. We need to live a life of concentration... our every effort leading to earning Punya Karma पुण्य कर्म (a positive balance of karma कर्म) in our favour... the only way to leading a healthier and fruitful life! (It is time we stopped thinking what was I in a Past Life).

A boatman, standing on the shore is saying:"Come, I will take you to the other shore, where there is joy & all that you have been seeking.

Lo !!! What kind of heavy-baggage, you are carrying on your head. There is no room in my boat for this kind of baggage.

Come, with THE GOLDEN CROP of your life's efforts. Only that Golden Crop can be loaded in the boat--------------"

Yes, the dawn of a NEW ERA, Satyug is beaconing us to THE PROMISED DESTINATION----------

Soone Mandir Diya Jala Ke    सूने मंदिर दिया जला के,

Aasan Se Mat Dhol Re, Tohe Piyaa Milenge  आसन से मत दोल रे ...  तोहे  पीया मिलेंगे ।

(Slowly in love, peep thro' the veil, to see the face of your beloved & then shed the veil, to embrace, never to LET GO of the bliss that you feel in the arms of the beloved-----------

WOW, this has blasted my guts, everything which I call mine, my interiors, and my exteriors, thrown as under all I have held to be true even as I search for 'Truth'. Truth is the Light, the ascension, the perception of higher dimensions which got 'enfolded' within the primordial light of Creation as if to allow for the evolution to proceed the way it has proceeded and to eventually emerge in the form of humans from whom the higher dimensions will 'unfold', the original, pristine, primordial, Divine Light will unfold along with God like Consciousness. This light will shatter all our falsehood, all our ignorance, all our masks, all our pretensions, all our 'Truths' and all embracing darkness in which we are grappling to find and hold on to that ray of Light which is embedded deep within us only waiting for it to be discovered, unfolded so as to let it blossom to its fullness, to its own glory, brilliance & magnificence, to eventually make us the Light beings which we originally are, a replica of His own Self, His own Being in our Being, His own Kingdom in our little islands.

How relaxing and comforting it is to go through the thoughts of this write up. Intellectual arrogance deprives us from the divine happiness. It is not a matter of saying only, one can experience this soothing feeling.

Yes. The bio-evolution has empowered each and every one of us to recognize the fact that "Truth alone Triumphs". The acceptance is derived from this principle. The "surrender" amounts to mentally finding oneself helpless. This is a negative trait and must be replaced by honourable acceptance of the flaw-less flow of natural forces- materials' interaction

Purpose of life-1

Is there a purpose of life? What does it mean when men of wisdom say there is always a purpose in life? If there is life's purpose then why do most people while away their life without ever finding a purpose in life? What use living a purpose driven life without a defined purpose?

The answer to all the above queries on finding a purpose in life is the most crucial part of life for a human being. The purpose driven life is meant to be lived by living forms which have not yet evolved to the level of human beings. Why?

Simply because they are devoid of discriminatory powers to choose a goal in life! The insects, the plants and animals always live a purpose driven life. They simply have no goal in life. They are as they are. They simply have their existence and have to abide by the rules of evolution.

Only when the living form reaches the level of a human being does one realize that human life is the highest manifest stage in the cosmic system. The moment a human being realizes that life has a purpose... one seeks the purpose of his life. Without a goal in life, Life seems to be incomplete!

As the child grows... one comes to learn that every human being has the potential of becoming a man god like Vardhman Mahavira वर्धमान महावीर, Mahatma Buddha महात्मा बुद्ध, Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed. Is that the crux of life! Is gaining salvation the end purpose of life!

If that be so... are we required to have a purpose in life linked to salvation as the present goal of life or is it that we can postpone travelling the spiritual path for the next manifestation.

The goal and the purpose of life for every human being are gaining enlightenment and finally salvation in the end. That may or may not be the purpose of life in the present manifestation. The purpose of life in the present phase can be best known by hearing the sweet small voice of our soul / atman आत्मा within our heart.

The purpose of life in every manifestation is driven by our soul / atman आत्मा within. It is our soul / atman आत्मा that has taken the body and not vice versa. The purpose of life is indirectly dictated by our soul atman within. If our deeds of the present life are not in consonance with the directives of our soul / atman आत्मा within... then heartburning, tensions and stresses become part of daily life.

Whatever act provides us complete relief... doing which we find extreme pleasure... something that we enjoy doing must form our goal of life. It is this goal of life pursuing which the purpose of our present life would be fulfilled.

It is surprising that almost above 95% people living on Earth, pass their life without ever having a purpose in life. It is almost like taking the routine path. If we are to ever curtail our cosmic journey... we need to find the purpose of our present manifestation. And this goal of life shall be prompted to us by our soul / atman आत्मा within.

By being truthful in life we can always hear the sweet small inner voice coming from our heart. This voice of our soul / atman आत्मा within always guides us on the right path. Knowing the exact purpose of this life... half the life's journey is complete.

FDR (Franklin Delano Roosevelt) had a fixed purpose in life and that made him one of the most successful presidents USA ever had in spite of his severe handicaps. (FDR lost both of his legs).

Madame Curie spent her entire life searching for radium in pitchblende. She was successful in the end but her success was written all over her body. Her body had dismally decayed by the powerful rays of radioactivity which led to her death. She knew what the outcome would be. Her purpose of life was helping the mankind. She had a very noble purpose in life. She succeeded finally!

Bill Gates... the architect of the Microsoft Corporation and the developer of famous Windows program also had a fixed purpose in life. His teachers found him academically weak! Fearing he would bring a bad name to the institution... they turned him out of the so called place of wisdom!

Destiny willed otherwise! Bill Gates pursued a goal of life dear to his heart. He fiddled with typewriters and gadgets which ultimately led him to develop computer skills which are unparalleled in the history of mankind. His famous Windows program now runs almost every computer in the world.

Every success in life demands a neatly defined purpose of life. And this purpose of life must be fixed in the earlier stages of life. Most people keep on postponing fixing the purpose of their life. And when comes the time to depart... they only drop a tear or two in anguish. For none knows what our next manifestation would be!

Life as a human being must be lived to the hilt. That decision is to be made by us alone. Our parents, teachers and well wishers can only act as guides in the journey of life. The purpose of our life is to be fixed by us alone. We just cannot leave things to chance. The time for that may never come.

Everything in the cosmos is justly ordered. If Stephen Hawking in his book, "a brief history of time" has expressed that the system of God is disordered at some stage... he is mysteriously wrong. This poor scientist fails to recognize that spirituality starts from the point where science ends. To measure spirituality from the yardstick of science has never been possible and shall never be.

Realizing the absolute truth that everything in the cosmos is justly ordered... why not bring order to our life. We definitely must fix a goal in life and never let ourselves fall into the rut of purpose driven life.

सृष्टि निर्माण और जिज्ञासा

मानव स्वभाव से ही जिज्ञासु है । उसकी उत्कृष्ट जिज्ञाशा ने ही उसे अकल्पनीय तथ्यों का जानकार बनाया है । संभवतः देव-दानव अवधारणा के पीछे भी यही मानवीय जिज्ञासु प्रवृति सक्रीय रही । प्रवृति मार्ग की उत्कृष्ट जिज्ञासा की अति शायद दान्वत्व में परिणित हुयी होगी और निवृतीं मार्ग की अति देवत्व में । भौतिक- अध्यात्म, देव-दान्वत्व, जन्म-मरण, आदि समानांतर धाराएं हैं । 

इसी जिज्ञासु प्रवृति ने कभी मानव मन को मोड़ दिया इस अबूझ पहेली की ओर की मानव क्या है ? सृष्टि क्या है ? इसका निर्माण कब ? क्यों ? कैसे हुआ ? इसका उत्तर उसे भौतिक जगत से नहीं मिला । वह दूसरी समानांतर धारा- अध्यात्म की ओर मुदा और वहां उसे आशा की किरण दिखाई पड़ी । कबीर के मुख से यह मुखरित हुआ- 'जिन ढूंढा तिन पाइयां गहरे पानी पैठ, जो बोरा डूबन डरा रहा  बैठ'। कपिल, पातांजलि आदि दार्शनिकों ने अपनी खोज और अनुभव के आधार पर इस गूढ़ सृष्टि की व्याखा  की, घोषणा की कि जैसे भौतिक-अध्यात्म, जन्म-मृत्यु, दिन रात दो समानांतर धाराएं हैं - प्रकृति और पुरुष इन धाराओं के सामंजस्य से ही सृष्टि का अस्तित्व रहता है । उन्नत विज्ञान भी आज कई रहस्यों, कई गूढ़ प्रश्नों में किंकर्तव्यविमूढ़ सा दिखता है । मसलन,

१. सृष्टि निर्माण कब, क्यों, कैसे और क्या इसका अंत है ?

२. मानव, प्राण, आत्मा क्या है ?

३.  क्या ईश्वर, परमात्मा जैसी कोई अपरोक्ष सत्ता विद्यमान है 

४. यदि हाँ, तो मानवीय बुद्धि इसको अनावृत करने में सक्षम है ?

इन प्रश्नों पर आज का विज्ञान भी चुप्पी साध लेता है । वह इनके पक्ष विपक्ष में मुखरित होने से कतराता है । ये प्रश्न आज के नहीं, वरन जब से मानव ने अपना अस्तित्व जाना होगा, तभी से मानव बुद्धि को उद्वेलित करते रहे हैं । परिणामतः अध्याय जैसी विद्या ने जनम लिया । सभी ने अपने अपने ढंग से इन्हें बताया । उपनिषदों ने जहां इसे समझने के लिए अन्तः प्रक्रिया अपनाई, वहीं  पुराणों, स्मृतियों ने कर्मकांड, आचार, मूर्त उपासना एवं पूजा पद्धति अपनाई । दोनों अपने-अपने स्तरों पर महत्वपूर्ण हैं । 

जन सामान्य जहां मूर्त वस्तु चित्र को आराध्य मानकर पंचोपचार,  षोडशोपचार, सखाभाव, स्वामी-सेवक  भाव आदि संबंधों का  अवलंबन करके अपने आराध्य तक पहुँचने का प्रयास करता है, वहीं अध्यात्मवादी एक गुन्तीत परम चेतन सत्ता को केंद्र मान कर खोज करता है । वह भाव से नहीं बल्कि  सिद्धांत, तर्क, तथ्य एवं अनुभव की कसौटी पर चलता है । उस परम सत्ता को स्व-स्वरुप अनुभव किया जाता है ।  यहीं पर आत्मा परमात्मा, जीव-ब्रह्म का द्वेत समाप्त होता है । इस धारा के अनुसार अज्ञानतावश द्वैत जान पड़ता है । 

आत्मा-स्वरूप जान लेने पर जीव सर्वज्ञ ही जाता है । वहां रहस्य 'रहस्य ' नहीं रह जाता है, सभी पहेलियाँ सुलझ जाती हैं । इसी

क्रम में सृष्टि-निर्माण-प्रक्रिया को सभी मतों में अपने-अपने ढंग से उपस्थित किया गया, मगर कमोवेश सभी ने एक परमसत्ता को केंद्र माना है । न्याय वैशेषिक सृष्टि के मूल में परमाणु को माना है । इसके मतानुसार परमाणु आपस में संघनित हो कर अनु रूप होता है, अनु मिलकर  स्थूल रूप पाकर मुद्गल (भौतिक सृष्टि रूप) में परिणित हो जाते हैं और क्रमशः इनका विखंडन सृष्टि ले है । अंत में फिर वाही बचता है जो नित्य है । वेदांत के अनुसार मूल तत्व 'ब्रह्म' ही है । ब्रह्म जब माया से आर्वित्त हो जाता है तब वह 'ईश्वर ' कहलाता है ।

यह ईश्वर ही सृष्टि का कारण है । इसी से सूक्ष्मतम मात्राएँ व् आकाश उत्पन्न होता है । आकाश से वायु, वायु से अग्नि, अग्नि से जल, तथा जल से पृथ्वी । इन सूक्ष्म मात्राओं से सूक्ष्म शरीर और सूक्ष्म शरीर से स्थूल शरीर की उत्पति हुयी । प्रतेक स्थूल में पांच महाभूतों (पृथ्वी, जल, तेज़, वायु एवं आकाश) की आंशिक और अनिवार्य सहभागिता होती है । अर्थात निर्गुण, निराकार ब्रह्म मयायुक्त ईश्वर होता है । और यह ईश्वर ही पंचमहाभूतों के माध्यम से सृष्टि का कारण बनता है । सांख्य-योग मूलतः प्रकृति-पुरुष को सृष्टि का कारण मानता है ।

पुरुष एवं प्रकृति का सम्मिलित उपक्रम ही सृष्टि है । दोनों एक दुसरे के बिना सृष्टि निर्माण में सर्वथा असमर्थ हैं । पुरुष, चेतन किन्तु निष्क्रिय है । प्रकृति, जड़ किन्तु क्र्यशील है, क्योंकि वह सत्व-राज एवं ताम त्रिगुणात्मिका है । पुरुष में कोई गुण नहीं हैं । एक निष्क्रिय चेतन दूसरा सक्रिय जड़ । दोनों एक दूसरे के पूरक । इनके संयोग से प्रथमतः महतत्व (बुद्धि) उत्पन्न होता है ।  महतः से अहं । अहं से ही पांच ज्ञानेन्द्रियाँ, पांच कर्मेन्द्रियाँ एवं मन । ताम प्रधान से पंच महाभूत उत्पन्न होते हैं । राज प्रधान अहं दोनों में सहायक होता है । यानि इन तत्वों से ही सृष्टि निर्माण होता है ।

सृष्टि का प्रारंभ व् सृजन की प्रक्रिया का परमात्मा या ब्रह्म से प्रस्फुटन ही सर्ग का वन्य विषय है । पृथ्वी कहाँ से प्रकट हुयी ? पञ्च तत्वों का कैसे अविर्भाव हुआ ? पंच तत्वों से पञ्च तन्मात्राओं की रचना किस प्रकार हुयी ? स्वेदज, अंदाज़, व् जरयाज़ जीव कैसे प्रकट हुए ? मैथुनी सृष्टि का प्रारंभ कैसे हुआ ?  इस मैथुनी सृष्टि का चार युगों में कैसे क्रमशः विकास हुआ ?
