Dad...You are my Life

There was a boy, who was sent by his parents to a boarding school. Before being sent away this boy was the brightest student in his class. He was at the top in every competition. He was a champion.

But the boy changed after leaving home and attending the boarding school. His grades started dropping. He hated being in a group. He was lonely all the time. And there were especially dark times when he felt like committing suicide.

All of this because he felt worthless and that no one loved him. His parents started worrying about the boy. But even they did not know what was wrong with him.

So his dad decided to travel to the boarding school and talk with him. They sat on the bank of the lake near the school.

The father started asking him casual questions about his classes, teachers and sports.

After some time his dad said, 'Do you know son, why I am here today?"

The boy answered back, "to check my grades?"  "No, no" his dad replied,

"I am here to tell you that you are the most important person for me.

I want to see you happy. I don't care about grades. I care about you. I care about your happiness.

YOU ARE MY LIFE."

These words caused the boy's eyes to fill with tears. He hugged his dad. They didn't say anything to each other for a long time. Now the boy had everything he wanted.

He knew there was someone on this earth who cared for him deeply. He meant the world to someone.

And today this young man is in college at the top of his class and no one has ever seen him sad!

Thanks a lot dad. YOU ARE MY LIFE.

Daughter

It’s been said, on the first day of their marriage, wife and husband decided and agreed not to open the door for anyone! On that day first, husband’s parents came to see them, they were behind the door. Husband and the wife looked at each other, husband wanted to open the door, but since they had an agreement he did not open the door, so his parents left. After a while the same day , wife’s parents came , wife and the husband looked at each other and even though they had an agreement , wife with tears on her eyes whispered , I can’t do this to my parents , and she opened the door. Husband did not say anything, years passed and they had 4 boys and the fifth child was a girl. The father, planned a very big party for the new born baby girl, and he invited everyone over. Later that night his wife asked him what was the reason for such a big celebration for this baby while we did not do it for the others! The Husband simply replied, because she is the one who will open the door for me!

बेटी की मोहब्बत को कभी आज़माना नहीं ,
वोह फूल है उसे कभी रुलाना नहीं !
बाप का तो मान होती है बेटी ,
जिंदा होने की पहचान होती है बेटी !!
उसकी आंखे कभी नम ना होने देना ,
उसकी ज़िन्दगी से खुशिया कभी कम होने देना !!!
ऊँगली पकड़ के कल जिसको चलाया था तुमने,
फिर उसी को डोली में बिठाया है तुमने !!!!
बहुत छोटा सा वक्त होता है बेटी के साथ ,
बहुत कम वक्त के लिए होती है वोह हमारे पास !!!!!

Maintain Positive Attitude

Having and maintaining a positive attitude is vital for success in life and business. "It is your attitude, not your aptitude that determines your altitude." Sure you need skills, but you can learn skills - in fact a positive attitude will make it much more likely that you will learn the skills necessary to succeed. If you take two people with an equal skill set the person with the better attitude will win.

Unfortunately it is not always easy to stay positive and keep a good attitude. As things go wrong throughout your day, it is easy to let negative thoughts start to take over. Thankfully there are many things that you can do to help maintain a positive attitude. These are things that you can do on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to make sure you keep your positive focus.

1.     Read Positive and Inspiring Books

One of the best ways to maintain a positive attitude is by reading positive books. These books serve to encourage you, inspire you, and teach you. Reading requires that you sit still and focus, and by focusing on something positive it helps you to keep a positive mindset throughout the day.

2.     Listen to Podcasts/CDS

The advantage of listening to podcasts or compact disks is that you can listen on the go. You can listen to motivating podcasts while you clean your house, exercise, or on a flight. In your car, you can play encouraging compact disks that help you make better use of your commute. Listening to recordings from people like Jagjeet Singh, Manhar Udas or Sashtriya Sangeet  can both teach and inspire you.

3.      Wake up Early

One of the best ways to help you maintain a positive attitude is to create the habit of waking up early. Waking up early allows you to get a head start on the day. You can prepare for work and start your day without feeling rushed. You can get a head start on important projects before the rest of the world is awake to interrupt you.

4.     Exercise

Very few things in life leverage your time as much as exercise. Obviously it makes a difference for your physical health, but it also has significant benefits to your mental health. Exercise is useful to combat depression and to improve overall positive mood. Further, if you exercise early in the morning you can go through your day knowing that you have already completed the most valuable activity you had to do!

5.      Plan Your Week and Day

Having a clear plan to your day and to your week can go a long way to helping you maintain a positive attitude. By knowing what you want to accomplish you will be able to focus on your important life priorities. A weekly plan allows you to match your long-term goals to your weekly accomplishments. Your daily plan allows you complete the activities you need to do so that you meet your weekly goals.

6.     Understand that Things Won't Always Go as Planned

If you plan and expect everything in life will go as you planned, you will be quickly disappointed. One of the keys to maintaining a positive attitude is to understand that things will go wrong. If you expect things to go wrong, you won't be phased when they do. So have a plan, but understand that things won't follow the plan. The plan allows you to adapt to what went wrong and move back towards what is important.

7.     Get Spiritually Connected

Naturally this one will look different for everyone, and this is simply an option to consider. If you are spiritually connected, you will have a positive outlook on life. This might mean prayer, meditation or reading Scripture. Set aside time each day to be connected spiritually.

8.     Be Thankful

Take some time and be thankful. Be thankful about what you have, who you are, and what your life is like. Think through all of the things that you can be thankful for. Even if you are in a tough time in life there are many things you have that you can be thankful for. You need to look for them and recognize them. The very act of focusing on what you are thankful for will help you maintain your positive attitude.

9.     Surround Yourself with Positive People

The people around you have a big impact on you. They impact who you are, how much money you will make, and what you value. They also impact how you think. If you surround yourself with negative people you will be negative as well. You can't help it. Hearing negativity all day leads you to negativity. The opposite is also true. Surround yourself with positive people and you will be more positive.

बीती ताहि बिसार दे आगे की सुध ले

किसी ने कहा है -'बीती ताहि बिसार दे आगे की सुध ले ' क्षमाशीलता एक ईश्वरीय गुण है संसार के हर धर्म में क्षमा के मह्त्व को रेखांकित किया गया है हर सभ्य समाज में क्षमा की सराहना की गयी है क्षमा व्यक्ति को सामान्य मनुष्य की श्रेणी से उंचा उठा देती है क्षमा ह्रदय की विशालता का प्रतीक है

क्षमा करके एक अनिवर्चनीय आनंद की, स्वर्गीय सुख की अनुभूति होती है व्यक्ति दूसरों की ही नहीं, स्वयं अपनी दृष्टि में भी उंचा उठ जाता है क्षमा करना कमजोरी नहीं, बड़े दिलवालों का काम है हर पीर, पैगम्बर, अवतार महापुरुष ने अपने जीवन से क्षमाशीलता के उदाहरण एवं आदर्श प्रस्तुत किये हैं

दार्शनिक और विचारकों ने सुखी और सफल जीवन जीने के लिए एक सूत्र दिया है - 'फॉरगेट एंड फोरगिव' (Forget and Forgive) अर्थात भुला दो और क्षमा कर दो अनुभवी लोग बताते हैं कि जीवन का वास्तविक आनंद पाने के लिए मूल मंत्र है क्षमा इसमे से प्रत्येक के जीवन में प्रतिदिन कई घटनाएँ घटती हैं

अच्छी भी, बुरी भी अनेक अनुभव होते हैं मीठे भी और कड़वे भी हमें विभिन्न स्थितियों से गुजरना पड़ता है सब अच्छा ही अच्छा हो, ऐसा वास्तविक जीवन में कम ही होता है

इसके बावजूद जीवन को सुखमय, चिंता रहित, समृद्ध व् सफल बनाया जा सकता है 'फॉरगेट एंड फ़ारगिव ' (Forget and Forgive) के इस मूल मंत्र को अपनाकर और अपनी दिनचर्या में ढाल कर प्रकृति ने मानव को भूलने की क्षमता प्रदान करके उसे एक बहुत बड़ा वरदान दिया है यदि हममें भूल जाने की क्षमता होती तो जीवन की कड़वाहट, पराजय, क्षोभ, निराशा-हताशा, कबी कमजोरी, दुर्घटना और अप्रिय संवाद को बार बार याद करके हम अपना जीवन कुंठा से भर लेते हैं

हर वख्त कुढ़ते, चिडचिडाते, खीजते, अशांत-उद्विंग्न और अवसाद ग्रस्त बने रहते मनुष्य का स्वभाव ही कुछ ऐसा है कि वह अपनी असफलताओं को अधिक याद करता है और उपलब्धियों को कम इस प्रकार हमारा जीवन ही निरंतर कष्टमय और घुटनभरा ही जाता है

यदि हमारी भूल जाने की प्रकृति होती तो बचपन से लेकर अब तक हमारी सारी स्मृतियां हमारे भीतर हर समय उमड़ती घुमड़ती रहती हमारे मन मस्तिष्क को निरंतर अच्छान्दित किये रहती तब भला हम अपने भविष्य तो क्या, वर्तमान में भी कुछ उपयोगी नहीं कर पाते

यह हमारी प्रकृति प्रदत्त भूल जाने की सुविधा ही है, जो हमारे मन-मस्तिष्क को पुरानी यादों के इस मकड़जाल से बचाए रखती है प्रकृति से प्राप्त इस वरदान का हम क्रियात्मक उपयोग करें सकारात्मक प्रयोग करें सकारात्मक प्रयोग करें दिन प्रतिदिन की असफलताओं और दूसरों से मिली पीड़ा को भूल जाने का अभ्यास करें

इसको भूलने से हम अपने भीतर एक निरंतर आक्रोश पालते हैं अपने मन मस्तिष्क को अशांत एवं उद्वेलित तथा स्वयं को असहज बनाए रखते हैं, जो हमारी शारीरिक स्वास्थ्य एवं मानसिक शांति के लिए नितांत हानिकारक हो सकता है अतः भुला दीजिये सारी कड़वाहटों को और सुख की नींद सोइए
