You are the Center of your own life

You will sometimes meet someone you believe is a soul mate; you feel the connection on many levels, perhaps instantly. And as you get to know each other more, you begin to feel the connection deepen and you feel that you must have an arrangement with this person that predated this lifetime.

Do not assume, however, that this soul connection necessarily means that you are meant to be happily together for this lifetime. It may be that you are meant to be friends and allies, helping each other out. It may be that you are going to help each other in ways that even involve conflict and separation, but with an end result that is beneficial to you. It may be that you are going to learn some lesson from each other and then go your separate ways.

What you need to do with all relationships, including those that have that instant and deep connection, is let be. You need to allow all of life, including close relationships, flow and evolve. You need to let people be who they are, not what you want them to be. And above all, you must not try to control, push and prod, manipulate and orchestrate relationships.

Have the courage and the heart, the contentedness, to follow your own path, to be who you are and love being who you are, no matter what. Shine out and show us who you are, so that people who are looking for someone exactly like you can find you. Do not allow setbacks or even major betrayals to dampen your shine and your being.

In life’s journey you will encounter much, narrow paths blocked by avalanches, forks in the road shrouded in fog, deep valleys of darkness and bright sunny days in meadows of golden poppies. It is all a part of life. And as you walk your path, other people will join you for a time: a dear friend, a lover, a spouse, children and parents. And then they may go away.

And through it all, the only constant is that you are you, that you have a core of truth within you and a path to walk, and if you allow your core of truth to tell you which fork in the road to take, if you allow that internal compass to tell you which mountain to climb, then you will do well indeed and have a fulfilling, interesting life. If you go chasing after others, trying to make things be other than how they naturally are, then you will find yourself suddenly awakening in a deep forest without knowing where to turn. You will find yourself lost and confused, because you have lost touch with your own personal truth.

And when this happens, you must just sit down in the forest, become very still, and return to yourself. You must reach down and find yourself again before you continue walking, or else you will simply go around in circles, becoming more desperate and alone and lost.

You are everything you need to be, just as you are, right now. You are the center of your own life. You are the beacon that shines and shows the way.

Be glad when others walk beside you, enjoy their company, connect as closely and deeply as you can, but always, always, shine your own light and walk your own path and allow them to do the same.

Man's History

Man is the most superior creation of the cosmic order. Once he knows how he can improve his fortune, he will certainly take measures to improve it. He will become the architect of his destiny and not a tool of the destiny.

Human is better placed than the other species. He is not born just to enjoy pleasures. All sentiment being eaten, drinks, sleep, and possess sexual impulses. But man’s desire can never be satisfied, by enjoying pleasure. He has been gifted with various senses and he should use them properly.

The millions of creature from amoebas to mighty animals do not acquire knowledge, but the human beings are a special category and they desire to equip themselves with knowledge and regulate their day-to-day activities.

In nature by mere eating of grass the elephant grows to a huge size. And whereas lion deprived of its meat will not consume grass. The Beast need not labour much to obtain their needs but the civilized man has to toil to get his food and shelter.

The animals confronted with danger protect themselves in many ways. But man has no poisonous fangs to bite. Their hands and legs are used for constructive purposes. The organs provided for man should be utilized for creative purposes. The organs provided for man should be utilized for creating conditions for better living. No doubt that all the beings in the world have been created by a super power –God.

It is also true that the finest machines made by man cannot be compared with the marvels of the human body and the intricate way in which all parts work together to keep in health. Here is a living organism that not only reproduces its own kind, but also repairs itself and has the ability to think and plan for the future, so that race is preserved and its ideals are perpetuated.

Our life functions in an organic connectivity. We are one life and this life itself is godliness. While we are creating conflict constantly, living in man-made divisions of religions, races and nations, a man of meditation comes to realize that there exit no divisions and fractions in life. All divisions exist only in the over-developed heads and under-developed heads of people. We are conscious of the leaves, branches and stream of the tree, but we cannot see the roots of the tree, the source of one life. This is the real misery of men on earth.

As in every part of the human body, there is a wonderful harmony and inner strength that enable it to overcome almost serious handicap. Trouble comes when that harmony is broken. Perhaps, through poor habits in living. The germs of decease may then enter and eventually destroy the body unless they are checked by normal defence mechanisms of the body.

We have to go to the Man’s History, the history of his struggle to conquer the nature and harness it in the service of mankind. The more we read the man’s history and scriptures more we get convinced that a vast reservoir of powerful facilities are dormant within us and once these are activated one could create a life Maharishi Valmiki (महर्षि वाल्मीकि) could even create “KUSH” कुश out of a straw.

In a day of yore, also two pieces of wood rubbed against each other to produce flames. The sparks were invisible till they were brought out. (Likewise, milk contains ghee घी but it cannot be seen till a special process is adopted.)

With the help of his knowledge and intelligence the primitive man made stone weapons to fight against enemies, formidable creatures, etc. Then he miraculously discovered the way to produce fire and used it for his protection in the night times and for cooking food. Afterwards he made wheel to move about using domestic animals and soon invented agriculture, cattle rearing and farming. His knowledge improved by doing inventive, creative works and he became a civilized being.

However, the limitations of his senses and the incomprehensibility of his mind to know about the secrets of life, Nature, Universe, God gave him the knowledge that he is incomplete and imperfect and that a thing called Spirit higher than the mind is there and by means of which perhaps all the secrets of the Universe can be known and all his fear of the forces beyond his control or power, he could not overcome death and achieve immortality.

God and Nature-Of all parts of Nature, only man puts his own interest before the needs of the system. How we can operate according to the altruistic laws of Nature, which is the same as God.

"Every molecule, every cell, every organ ... has self-interest. When every level in the body shows its self-interest, it forces negotiations among the levels. This is the secret of Nature. Every moment in our body, these negotiations drive our systems to harmony."

The cells in organisms unite by reciprocal giving for the sake of sustaining the whole body. Each cell in the body receives what it needs for its sustenance, and spends the rest of its energy tending to the rest of the body. At every level of Nature, the individual works to benefit the whole of which it is a part, and in that finds its wholeness. Without selfless activities, a body cannot persist. In fact, life itself cannot persist.

Science acknowledges that the biggest, if not the only, problem with our world are we

The Secret of Longevity

What I enjoy is solitude. I’m fortunate that I can spend a lot of time by myself. It is very beneficial to be alone. The mind gets enormous amounts of rest, and a day’s silence gives you more energy. If you keep your mind blank for a while — and this is the sole purpose of meditation — you can enjoy solitude and you’ll find it empowering. The fact is, I get up at 4 O’clock in the morning and I sit in Silence for two hours and thinking and writing.

Let Life Be Your Friend

Friendliness is the highest form of love. In love, some lust is bound to be there; in friendship, all lust disappears. In friendship, nothing gross remains; it becomes absolutely subtle.

A Matter of Sharing-It is not a question of using the other, not even a question of needing the other, but it is a question of sharing. You have too much and you would like to share. And whosoever is ready to share your joy with you, your dance, your song, you will be grateful to him, you will feel obliged.

Not that he is obliged to you, not that he should feel thankful to you because you have given so much to him.

A friend never thinks that way. A friend always feels grateful to those people who allow him to love them, to give them whatsoever he has got.

Love is greed. You will be surprised to know that the English word ‘love’ comes from a Sanskrit word lobha; lobha means greed. How lobha became love is a strange story. In Sanskrit it is greed; the original root means greed. And love as we know it is really nothing but greed masquerading as love — it is hidden greed.

Making friendships with the idea of using people is taking a wrong step from the very beginning. Friendship has to be a sharing. If you have something, share it — and whosoever is ready to share with you is a friend. It is not a question of need.

It is not a question that when you are in danger, the friend has to come to your aid. That is irrelevant — he may come, he may not come. If he comes, you are grateful, but if he does not come, it’s perfectly okay. It is his decision to come or not to come. You don’t want to manipulate him; you don’t want to make him feel guilty. You will not have any grudge. You will not say to him that, “When I was in need you didn’t turn up — what kind of friend are you?”

Friendship is not something of the market place.

Friendship is one of those rare things which belong to the temple and not to the shop. But you are not aware of that kind of friendship; you will have to learn it.

Not a Natural Instinct-Friendship is a great art. Love has a natural instinct behind it; friendship has no natural instinct behind it. Friendship is something conscious; love is unconscious.

What we call love is more animalistic than human. Friendship is absolutely human. It has something for which there is no inbuilt mechanism in your biology; it is non-biological. Hence, one rises in friendship, one does not fall in friendship. It has a spiritual dimension. When he says that Friendship only rises and does not fall as it is not biological, it means that 'normal' friendship in everyday life is fraught with expectations which are biological in nature, in the sense that it involves emotions. And where emotions are involved one can 'only fall'.

Unconditional love on the other hand is not an emotion it is our nature, it is our being.

If this moment is full of friendship and the fragrance of friendship, why be worried about the next moment? The next moment will be born out of this moment. It is bound to be of a higher, deeper quality. It will bring the same fragrance to a higher altitude. There is no need to think about it — just live the moment in deep friendship.

And friendship need not be addressed to anyone in particular. Rather than creating friendship, create friendliness. Let it become a quality of your being, a climate that surrounds you, so you are friendly with whomsoever you come in contact.

Multi fold Returns-This whole existence has to be befriended! And if you can befriend existence, existence will befriend you a thousand-fold. It returns to you in the same coin but multiplied. It echoes you. If you throw stones at existence, you will be getting back many more stones. If you throw flowers, flowers will be coming back.

Life is a mirror, it reflects your face. Be friendly, and all of life will reflect friendliness.

People know perfectly well that if you are friendly to a dog, even the dog becomes friendly to you. And there are people who have known that if you are friendly to a tree, the tree becomes friendly to you.

Guru

The word Guru comes from “Gur” which in Hindi, means a person who masters an art. Guru thus means one who is proud of it and wants to use it. Most Gurus use the latest technology to influence people and make them disciples.

Now a day to have a Guru is a status symbol. When your Guru comes to your house in your big Car, you invite all the bigwigs in the neighbourhood. Your popularity index shoots up.

In the material World, we are well aware of the rat race. When we get tired of it, we turned to spirituality; but here too, we end up doing something similar. We start running the ‘seeking race’. So we move from one Guru to another. We shop for one cult or another. From Osho, we move to Radhaswamy, Nirankari, Asharam, then to Ramdev and then to another, many such Guru are available on Astha, Sanshkar, TV Channels. Promotional material, CD’s and books of various Gurus start piling up on our table. We seek the truth with the philosophies of these Gurus till someone comes along and tells us that another Guru is much better and that the Guru we are following is fake.

We pick up our bags and run to the next Guru shop. Once again, we do spiritual shopping and then again and yet again...the peace we were searching is completely lost. We run after Buddha and start chanting; we run to a Krishna cult and start dancing, sometime we even change our religion. Six months down the line, we are the same---depressed, lost and without hope, nothing seems to live up to its promise. We enroll the expensive course. We go through ‘clever’ workshops, which demonstrate their effectiveness with brilliant examples.

We, actually, feel the change for a few days and then it’s back to square one.

It is the approach that has gone wrong. Instead of internalizing spirituality, we have externalized it. We look for magical solutions and like typically successful marketers, specialist guru-marketing, organisations makes a fool of us. They sell us empty concepts at huge prices, because they have no real content; they are ineffective. A Guru marketing organisation cannot have a true Guru at its heart that is for certain.

There are seekers who have been seeking for years and who take pride in announcing that you are studying since decades and have reached nowhere even you are in your 80’s  and dying ?

Jesus’ 12 disciples saw him performing so many miracles, but doubted him all along, Judas even betrayed him. So why couldn’t they see divinity in Christ ? What prevented them ? it is the ego, as long as you seek with ego, you will end up pampering your ego. You have to seek by surrendering. When you surrender your heart; the seat of the Divine starts guiding you. you are able to see which Guru is genuine and who is fake. Your heart tells you. According to Kabir, you have to worship your Guru as God. There is God in Temple and books and Holy places, but like blind men and women, we are unable to find Him. Only a Guru can help us open our eyes and see Him. That why a Guru is equal to God in your life.

Our spiritual journey begins when we stop seeking and start meditating, using the technique taught by our Guru. The Guru is a master and knows best. A Guru is one who helps you become your own Guru and make you independent. You shed your ego and your bad habits.

So stop Guru shopping, start meditating and begin your spiritual journey. God is in you. Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh, Sarswati, Laxmi, Durga and all Devi Devta are inside you. Only you have to invoke them.

Let us begin with........ Kabir’s views on God’s whereabouts:

तेरा साँई तुझमें ज्यों पहुपन में बास, कस्तूरी का हिरन ज्यों, फिर-फिर ढूंढत घास

-God is always within, outside search is useless !

Now look at the beauty of his revelation of God:

 – God is, where faith is !

Let me say, these are the wonderful life management fundas. Who says spirituality is not practical ? It is more and much more………………..Always in pursuit of Truth.

For all Friends Who read my writings

I was told on many occasions that I'm being too long in whatever I wanted to say because I found it necessary to explain. The advice used to be; "getting to the point! We understand what you're saying." I used to get annoyed but these wise old people, my parents were giving me sagacious advice

Dear... if you see all my writings/blogs are lengthy but then too they are well read and responded...as I have a notion that ... updated wisdom and spiritualism cannot be delivered as 2 minute noodles.

There are so many young students who read my blogs.... they are not so matured and experience as some of you.... people love novels .. I can full empathy you have less time then too you come and bless me on my blog.... you see ... I may not blogging here as killing my time.... I am here to give some awareness... I like to focus on one blog for a month by interacting with guests than blogging daily a new blog...please understand me..... my blogs are completely different... and a sincere and serious effort to deliver logical spiritualism and god FREE... People here are not so modern yet ... they are very primitive in their approach... their personal religions disallow them to walk straight collectively with humanism... they are divided by religions...

Valmikhi ji was a dacoit and murderer first. He was a changed person when some Rishi asked him to ask his family if they will share his punishments for the sins he do every day. His family said they won’t share his sins... from the day he changed into a good soul...

We have so many lessons to learn from holy literature's of all religions, but people want to dig fossils and stick to 'wordy archaeologist' mere. They don’t want to become or adhere to updated practical wisdoms which are the need of the hour. 'They are bus lakir ke fakir ' and walk in herd.

In fact As per Wikipedia 'Spiritualism' is different from 'spirituality' ... first we don’t know what is meant by spirituality? And the spiritualism? and the latest ism is called "LIFEISM'' This is the imported ism from the US in place of SPIRITUALITY.... In US our Indian spiritual masters are deliberately manufacturing so many isms from the concept of spirituality, and they export their spiritual products to various nations all over the world ... now a day it is a big corporate business in US. Now they are searching good markets for their new isms in the world. India has become their major market for their spiritual products made in US.

Daily you will find in TV a new Guru preaching on Spirituality. And there are numerous followers also. It is hot market.

I too know spiritualism is not the right word...but there is no option for the word 'Adhiatmikta' and saying 'mediation' is not imp active.

I feel and find people on much more learned and wiser what we do is not for others it is a simple fact. First and foremost it made me happy and then anybody else. We human beings yet have not evolved that much--still a long way to go. Writing and applying in life are two different things

Consciousness - Force Hidden In the Human Organism-2

As mentioned earlier, the cosmic radiations are received by the geo-north pole on the earth; and the untoward effects, and the excess or wastage after the consumption of the desired energy is discarded through the geo-south pole. This process is similar to the subliminal process of the attraction and absorption of cosmic signals (of the eternal prana indwelling the cosmos) by the sahastraraand disposal (after necessary consumption by the extrasensory centres along the endocrine column) through the muladhara. In the context of kundalini sadhanas the yoga-scriptures liken the muladhara to a deep pond and the sahastrara to the majestic Himalayan peak of the Kailash Mountain. The synchronicity and vital linkage of these two chakras (extrasensory centres) is realized through the electrification of kundalini (also known as the gigantic 'serpentine fire' in the science of "Tantra" symbolizes the sublime source of absolute life-force, vital spiritual energy and the latent reservoir of supernatural powers. It is also regarded to be the governing power of Maya. This limitless force normally remains hidden and dormant and could be stimulated and elevated through arduous sadhanas of Kundalini-Yoga.) and results in ultimate bliss. The individual self, the soul, unites with its eternal origin - (God) and attains self-realization.

The active level of spiritual charge in the sahastrara determines the intensity and glow of the aura around one's face (especially the head). The mythological depiction of bright halo around the faces of the idols of deities or divine characters symbolizes this fact. The two volumes on "Psychic Discoveries behind Iron Curtain" by Sheila Ostrander and Lynn Schneider (published by Bantam Books, New York in 1970s) mention a great deal about the aura of vital energy around living beings. A technique called Kirilian photography is said to have made it possible to photograph and analyze the aura as clearly as the polar spectrum at the terrestrial North Pole. Dr. Narendran, a neurologist at the Madras Medical College is reported to have recorded the halos of 'light' (vital energy zones) around different parts of the body including the fingers.

The Kirilian technique of sensing and recording of micro-ionic energy domains has been a remarkable scientific breakthrough towards the development of Thermographs and Electro magnetographs in the second half of the 20th century.

According to Dr. Narendran, the intensity of the aura increases with vital energy. It exists in plants, trees and even in the inanimate matter but it is difficult to photograph it due to its low intensity. A high voltage projection recording with the help of a modified design of Dr. Kilner Walter's instrument (invented in 1949) is used for recording the aura around human beings. Researchers in this field opine that the measurement of aura and the analysis of its spectra would be useful in understanding the mental state of patients and would therefore provide better means for the diagnosis and management of psychosomatic disorders. Some of them express the view that the knowledge about this rather new field of bio-energy was available since ages but was largely hidden due to misinterpretation of the scriptural texts and unscientific practices like those of hypnotism, holography, etc.

Dr. Kilner had shown, using a dicyanin screen, and that the distribution of ions around our body is affected by the number of dead cells being disposed off through the skin and that the extent and rate of decay is associated with the level of our vital energy. The aura is supposed to be formed in the intense ionic zones around the body. Hence a relation between the appearance of an aura and vital energy exists. He mentions in his book "Human Atmosphere" that the charged particles in the aura remain invisible due to their nano-structure and dispersed distribution. The glow of the aura around most people therefore remains dim or dull. However, people with supernatural powers and elevated spiritual energy can visualize and measure the aura around anybody.

The scientific methods of recording and analyzing the aura around the human body, and the scriptural reviews on the origin and knowledge of the subliminal fields of vital energy and the spiritual force associated with its glow, are discussed in detail in volume 17 of "The Complete Works of Pandit. Shriram Sharma Acahrya". The present discussion gives only a glimpse of some related aspects of the astounding living organism of the human body that have been deciphered in the modern laboratories. The subliminal world living inside the human beings is far more vast and mysterious than the perceivable world around it. The sukshmikarana sadhana - supreme spiritual endeavour of sublimation of the life force - is a consistent and phased process of the realization, expansion, transmutation and unification of the individual consciousness with the supreme cosmic consciousness.

As scientific research proceeds with discovering the subtler realms of life and consciousness in the human body, newer dimensions of supernatural powers would begin to unfold in this natural system. The principles and attainments of sukshmikarana would also then become more explicit and convincing and will inspire a greater number of people to undertake and benefit from the marvellous results of spiritual sadhanas.

Integration of science and spirituality would help in unveiling the subtle mechanism and depth of the universe of life in our body. This would also lead to an integrated scientific vision of the superiority of the power of consciousness over all other powers in the physical world and thus enhance our faith in its omnipotent eternal origin. This elevated reverence for its Supreme Creator should also reduce our faith in the dignity of human life and humanity

Consciousness - Force Hidden In the Human Organism

The most interesting and challenging topics of research in the recent times have been focusing on the mysteries of human body. Apart from the scientists and researchers of the modern age, the ancient sages and seers had delved even deeper into the marvels and intricate workings of the inner realms of the living human organism.

The modern age cutting edge biological researches have successfully made it possible to decode the human DNA sequence. However, despite the dedicated efforts of the geneticists, biophysicists, biochemists, and other researchers of the biomedical sciences, and despite the successful experiments on cloning genes and organisms and the synthesis of some bio-molecules in the laboratories, the mystery of the origin and ultimate end of life remains unresolved. No theory of evolution has yet been able to scientifically elucidate the origin and manifestation of consciousness in living organisms or capture the moments of transition between life and death.

The essence of what the Upanishad seers describe about the living system implies that the structure and functions of the human organism have not evolved in stages, as claimed by Charles Darwin's theory of evolution. Rather, this highly evolved system has always existed as a perfect creation of the Almighty. For instance, a hymn in the "Ishopanishad" cites that the entireness of Brahma - the Supreme Creator of the universe - is imminent in his infinite creation. Everything existing in the universe therefore is as complete and vast (in its subliminal world) as the cosmic expansion. The following mantra in the "Chhandogyopanishad" proclaims the underlying unity of all phenomena in the ultimate source and substance of creation- the atma.

Satya eshoani maitdayatymidam sarvam|
Tatsayem sa atma tatvamasi shvetaketo ||

Meaning: The spirit is the only and the ultimate source of all phenomena that exist in this universe. The spirit is the Absolute Truth and 'Oh! Svetaketu (addressing to the disciple), you are nothing but that eternal spirit.'

The ancient Indian scriptures also throw light upon the fundamental principles for the physical manifestation of consciousness. A human being is described here as - "A superb individual concretization of the subtle dynamic impulses that perpetually flow in the limitless expansion of the cosmos". The principle of underlying unity of the subtle structures of the cosmos and the microcosm of a human organism, and the eternal conjugation between the vital powers and energy currents within and beyond the living system of the human body, provide a scientific basis of the subliminal existence of the universe in the latter.

What is known or perceivable about the structure and function of the human body (including the brain) itself is so astounding that there remains little doubt about the validity of above assertions. A complex, subliminal and limitless ocean of electromagnetic waves, neuro chemicals, and vital energy indwells in this visibly small but functionally omnipotent system. Noting that the Indian Philosophy and Science of Spirituality and Life had focused on the conscious as well as the material existence of Nature, a fresh look at the inherent import of the scriptural texts in the light of the new scientific discoveries might be useful in deciphering the mysterious realms operating within the living human organisms. The authentic descriptions and implications of the Upanishad texts may be regarded as theorems or conjectures for this purpose requiring theoretical and experimental research according to present day scientific methodology to prove, resolve, or verify the truth of their insights.

The eleventh mantra of the "Ishopanishad" says - "One who learns from the known (perceivable) as well as the unknown (subliminal), transcends the knowledge of death and eternity". This indeed gives an important clue in the present context indicating that the integration of the material based modern scientific research with the science of spirituality and the subliminal world of consciousness would indeed offer in-depth and comprehensive understanding of the astonishing world of conscious energy process operating inside the deeper levels of human organism.

In continuation of the advancing research on human genes, neuropathies and other biochemical’s, the molecular biologists, neuroscientists and biophysicists have also discovered some macromolecules responsible for bioelectrical functioning in the human body. It is found that a powerful electrostatic field exists in almost every tissue of our body. These electrical fields activate the neurons in the brain under the energized control of small amounts of certain neurotransmitters and these also affect the cell membrane potentials and hence the inter-cellular communication in other parts of the body.

Because of the enormous bioelectrical processing in it, our body functions like a dipole magnet who’s North Pole resides in the central core of the brain and the South Pole in the bottom centre of the genitals. Scientific observations show that its polarization process is similar to that of the earth and that this polarization begins at the level of a zygote itself. The meiotic process of chromosome synthesis and distribution in gametes occurs after this polarization.

An electro-sensitive micron image of even a child's body shows dense halo of light near the brain and the genitals. The locations of the north and the south poles of the grand bioelectrical magnet of the human body match respectively with those of the sahastrara (extrasensory centre in the reticular activating system) and the muladhara (extrasensory centre beneath the lowermost end of the spinal column). These subtle energy centres are referred in the yoga-scriptures in the context of the galaxy of vital electric and spiritual powers hidden in the Kundalini. These two extrasensory centres respectively are said to be the subliminal inlets and outlets or the two 'channels' for the continuous flow of cosmic energy, vital currents and bioelectrical communication in the body's micro-universe.

Dr. Harold Saxton Burr (b1889-d1973), a distinguished scientist at the Yale MedicalSchool had carried out extensive work on the bioelectrical roots of life-energy. In his book entitled "The Field of Life" (John Wiley, 1972) he remarks that the high magnitude of the (bio) electrical potentials between the two poles of a tiny zygote is indeed astounding. This (bio) electromagnetic property naturally has a crucial role in enabling multi-cellular development of this single cell into the marvellous human body. In fact, as Dr. Burr describes, sperm itself is a dipole in which the upper pole carrying the nucleus is the centre of information and the lower pole, the tail, contains electrical energy for transmitting this information. These poles are functionally active in the DNA and RNA of the cells in the offspring.

The continuous and controlled flow of electrical currents between the involved cellular dipoles plays vital role in embryogenesis and complete development of the body. According to Dr. Jean Mark (Science, issue no. 1, 1981) electrophoresis is fundamental to various cellular processes occurring inside a living body. The balanced circulation and optimal activities of the Red Blood Corpuscles (RBC) and the White Blood Corpuscles (WBC) also rely on the ionic secretions through the membranes of these cells.

Significant work in the areas of electro-physiology is reported on the cardiac pacemaker and the conducting tissues, which control the pumping action of the heart and hence the healthy blood circulation. Electrophysiological phenomena have also been studied microscopically in the spinal cord (around the sushumna nadi) and the connecting sympathetic and parasympathetic ganglions. Transport of calcium ions across the cell membrane is important in the bioelectrical and bio magnetic properties of the cells and hence in the active transport across the cell-membrane and for intercellular communication too.

The terrestrial magnetic lines of force enter through the Geo North Pole and exit from the Geo South Pole. The reception and transmission (or dissipation) of cosmic rays also is most intensive at these poles. The electrically charged ultra fast solar rays are always concentrated and focused at the receiving centre (North Pole) and are most dispersed at the exit centre (South Pole). The South Pole works as the exit door for the dissipation of excessive heat, global pollution, unabsorbed radiation, etc. This natural flow of energy from the north to South Pole becomes possible because of polarization. The polarization in the human body is equally important for the bioelectrical, physiological and biochemical processing. The vital charging and evolution of energy fields around the two poles of the body's magnet emit specific aura that is brighter and intense around the upper pole.

The spinal cord is the connecting channel of bioelectrical power transmission from the brain to the central nervous system and to all the sensory organs in fractions of a second. The spinal cord is made up of collagen tissues constituted by a compact assembly of these stable protein molecules. The upper end of this cord (covering the bundles of nerves) is positively charged and the lower end is negatively charged. In terms of tissue structure, this cord forms a coiled cluster at the lower end and spreads at the upper end as an elliptical surface in the reticular activating system of the brain. This core is the central repository or powerhouse of immense (bio) electricity, part of which is also used in the bodily activities from cellular to organ levels. Most of this storage remains subliminal. Further, due to the continuous flow of positive and negative currents and mutual reactions and consumption of ionic concentration in the varieties of processes going on simultaneously in the sensory operations, electrophysiological, metabolic, and motor activities, etc, it is difficult to measure the charge of this power field by electroencephalograph (EEG). The EEG can record only about 13% of the bioelectrical activities of the brain on an average.

As described earlier, the reticular activating system, the central region of the pineal, pituitary and the hypothalamus in the brain are given immense importance in the yoga-scriptures. The associated vital and latent energy domains and extrasensory power centres are referred here as the brahmarandhra and the sahastrara. The sahastrara being the 'north (upper) pole' of the body's magnet receives cosmic signals and subliminal transmissions.

Yoga sadhanas of successive refinement, activation and control of sahastrara bestow the potentials of attracting and absorbing the desired supernormal energies and impulses of cosmic consciousness through this extrasensory centre. The necessary disposal of the vices (of the body and mind) and pernicious effects become possible through the muladhara chakra (the south pole of the body's magnet). The quality and intensity of the cosmic energy received by the upper end (the brahmrandhara and sahastrara) of the dipole (bio) magnet of the spinal cord depends upon the mental enlightenment and spiritual elevation of the yogi.

Why do so many people have a deep fear of death?

The fear of death comes from two beliefs:
When we die, we disappear.

When we die, we will be punished for our sins. God is judgmental and we will end up in hell / Narak, heaven / Swarg or purgatory for eternity.

If you could be sure that when you die, your consciousness goes right on living—that your soul essence cannot die—would you still be afraid of death? If you knew that, you—not your ego, you but your true Self—was immortal, would you be afraid of death? If you knew that you would see all your loved ones again, would you be afraid of death? If you knew that the only judgment you would experience would be your own reliving of the choices you had made while in the body, would this scare you? If you knew that you would be coming into unconditional love and that this love would help you continue on your soul's journey, would this frighten you?

The problem is that we can't KNOW this in a left-brain scientific way. We can know it only in an intuitive way, a feeling way—remembering the truth of who we really are and what God is.

Our feelings are an inner guidance system, letting us know when we are thinking and believing in ways that are on track with what is true and right for us, and when we are off track. Thoughts such as “I'm worthless” make us feel bad because they are not true. The bad feeling is our Higher Self letting us know that we are off track in our thinking. These off-track thoughts come from our programmed mind—our ego wounded self—which is filled with false beliefs.

When you think the thought, “When I die, I will disappear”, this thought may create fear. When you think the thought, “When I die, I will go to hell / Narak, heaven /Swarg or purgatory for eternity. I will be punished for eternity for my sins,” how do you feel? The fear is letting you know that the thought is not based on truth. When you think the thought, “When I die, I will gently leave my old or sick or hurt body. I will go home and see all loved ones, and I will continue learning on my soul's journey. I will be surrounded by unconditional love, and I will be able to learn from my mistakes,” how do you feel?

From a scientific point of view, neither of these views can be proved. You cannot prove that you will disappear or go to hell any more that you can prove that you will continue to exist and your soul will continue to learn and grow. But you can know on the FEELING level which feels right and good.

You can choose to believe whatever you want to believe. Why believe something that makes you feel terrified? Why not choose to believe in what makes you feel loved and safe?

Fear of Death-2

Death is as good a part of life as the life itself. Without death... life itself could not have existed. Unless the present body decays and die... our soul the atman within can never look forward to getting a new body (a new phase of life) in next manifestation.

For the cosmic system to continue... death plays a very important role!

It is not death that is to be feared... it is our wanton desires and the vices which must be feared most. It is they that shall result in our accumulating negative balance of karma. This would have disastrous results in the life of our atman the soul within.

In the present Kali Yuga phase of life (the present metal age)... we need to remember that it is the doctrine of karma that is governing! It has also been advocated by the most revered spiritual master of the present era that it is karma and only karma that shall play the most vital role in the life of every human being. And the need of the hour is performing karma which brings us a positive balance of life... to be carried onward to next life!

If we have lived a truly negative life in the present Kali Yuga phase of life... that phase of life which has totally remained hidden from the society... we cannot expect to earn merits out of it. In the cosmic hierarchy we shall again be born on a lower platform of life for nothing is hidden from the Almighty God.

We get paid for what our true actions have been and not that which were projected to the society. George Bush may be a nice president for some but it is for certain that he won the presidency of the USA based on some folly created during the counting of the votes. If he has erred in his decisions... he shall face the music in next manifestation.

The punishment in the system of God is automatic. As we perform so shall be our next phase of life. Performing negative karma can never yield positive results. Merely hoping for a good life ahead shall not fructify for our actions have been totally contrary to what we really desired in life.

Take the case of Bill Gates... the founding architect of the famous Windows program and the CEO of Microsoft Corporation. On his web site you shall find that he does not prefer giving donations to religious organizations. He is hundred percent right for so many religious organizations have cropped up overnight that it becomes difficult to differentiate the genuine from the frauds.

What actually Bill Gates forgets is... it is the field of pure spirituality that plays the governing role. Religion does not require funds. It is the field of pure spirituality that can bring about a quantum change in the society. If Jesus Christ were to descend today and had he desired some funds for works he may have liked to perform then as per the doctrine of Bill Gates it was a clear no to Jesus Christ. Here Bill Gates is in the wrong.

The John Templeton foundation is doing a wonderful job for it helps the spiritual masters of the day with a million-dollar prize. Probably he has more of understanding of the subject than Bill Gates. Glory is to the John Templeton foundation which may have really helped many in doing what they truly desired from the heart but were always deficient of funds.

The Melinda Gates foundation has already pledged millions of dollars for AIDS but to what purpose. AIDS is required to be eradicated from the roots... not merely treated. The eradication can only be caused by the highest spiritual master of the day. Unless the humanity realizes the gravity of the situation and stops wanton indulgences... and bids goodbye to the promiscuous behaviour... the evil of AIDS just cannot be contained.

Imagine in some of the Western countries... every second or third child is born a bas…..d One who has been born out of wedlock even before the parents were married? What a shame the society is being put to! Life is supposed to be lived freely but we cannot overrule the domain of God. Even Jesus Christ never advocated such practices nor does Bible favour such incidents.

Merely donating funds and earning name and fame shall not earn merits for either Bill Gates or the Melinda Gates foundation. It is the balance of karma at the end part of life that shall decide what the next manifestation of Bill Gates is. In the system of God such charities and donations carry no meaning. Bill Gates would always be remembered for what he truly did for the society and not the quantum of donations he ever made.

On the contrary look at the life of Madame Curie... the famous lady who discovered radium for the benefit of mankind. In the process of pitching out radium from the pitchblende ore she lost her body from overdoses of radiation. She lived for the society... she cared for the humanity... she gave away her life for a very noble cause.

She was truly an embodiment of God... she bluntly refused to place any royalty on her discovery. Radium as on date has immensely helped those suffering from cancer and other ailments. Millions have benefited and all that without having to pay any royalty to the departed soul or her off springs if there be any. (Madame Curie not having any children). God bless her soul.

Why leave assets for children beyond their requirements... it will only lead them to wine and dine and while away the accumulated wealth left by the ancestors! The prime care the parents need to take in respect of their children is to make them educated as they truly desire from their heart and thereafter leave them to their destiny. This is the only way we can have absolute peace of mind and cheerful children to take care of us when in need.

Talking of death... I need to surmise here that death forms a part of journey of life. It is neither a beginning nor an end in itself. Every death announces the end of the physical manifested life. For our soul the atman within it is merely the change of the garment as happens when the change of guards occur at Birmingham Palace.

It is a daily routine and similarly death is also a routine in the journey of life. Why fear the unknown. Just be after earning Punya karma (the positive balance of karma) in the present phase of life and the journey ahead... and the next manifestation would definitely be more enhanced than the present one.

“The modern tradition of equating death with an ensuing nothingness can be abandoned. For there is no reason to believe that human death severs the quality of the oneness in the universe.”

One of my friends had a stroke and has been left totally paralyzed at the age of 75. He had been told for years that he needed to stop smoking and drinking, but never did. He smoked and drank heavily for 40 years. He told his family, and put into his Advance will, that he didn't want extraordinary life support if something like a catastrophic stroke happened, yet now he wants to be on the life support rather than die. He is terrified of death.
