Sexual enjoyment philosophy

Sexual enjoyment philosophy is quite controversial in this regard. Yet it has been proven repeatedly by many sex therapists and researchers. The philosophy is this by learning to focus on your own sensations and enjoyments; you will actually become more sensitive to your partner’s feeling and needs. Discovering what you enjoy can build your confidence, make it easier to ask for what you want, and bring a new sense of freedom in bed.

Total Sex knowledge to bring complete enlightenment to everyone, simply because it is the essence of our sacred Shashtras, Puranas, Vedas, epics and at last to include my Experience.

And as these secrets of nature are unrevealed before our eyes, we come to understand ourselves more fully and appreciate the benefits of living in harmony with the laws of nature. These are the laws that guide the sun and the stars, and cause the plants to grow and the flowers to bloom. This is the power we see at work within the human mind and the body, the power of the life itself. Such a study not only helps us to closer to the great mind that rules the mighty Universe all around us.

That is why many Saints written “सम्भोग से मोक्ष तक” The basic mindfulness techniques and ethical teachings were already in place at early time. What was added at this point was the incorporation of a number of yogic techniques, specific ways of directing the breath and the inner energies of the body, which were drawn from the broader yogic knowledge of India. A lot of ritual elements were also incorporated, as well as magical techniques and dance practices. Probably what was most distinctive about early period, though, was the introduction of the yoga of union—the practices that men and women could do together in order to transform the energies awakened by sexual union into very refined states of consciousness, wisdom and bliss.

It is also well known that the quest for Sex and health is almost as old as the human race itself. This we know from the most ancient writing of the past. And still the wonderful search goes on, for there is no quest in which man and woman are as vitally interested as in this search for vibrant, youthful living.

It is about how you enjoy and achieve the mastery over your body that will take your love making to new heights.

Sexuality is an extremely powerful, primal and irreducible aspect of human nature. One of the contributions of the Tantric paradigm was the insight that sexual energies were being wasted in some forms of meditative practice. There is a Tantric teaching to the effect that without the practice of sexual union and without integrating one’s energies at that level, it is impossible to attain enlightenment in the present life-time.

This takes us to the fact that sex and spirituality are not two different paths but that one is the path to attain the other. Old Tantric practices of sacred sex or mystic sex showed that often the orgasmic bliss was sought by the practicenar to get a vision of the divinity. In today’s world the first concept still holds true, there is also the evolution of the concept where proponents of Tantra and scared sex are using the age-old system to strengthen man-woman relationships and their equation with each other.

This also serves another purpose. While you attain a certain spiritual knowledge, you also create a cosmic bond with the partner who helps you attain this state. This union then moves beyond the regular meaning of a man-woman relationship to create a bond that is pure love. Surrender, worship and sacrifice.

In this the whole act of making love is an intense experience where all the five senses are simultaneously involved. It is where you directly realise the power of your senses and feel pure bliss and a complete release from your present world. In sacred sex, it is not just the union of two bodies. There is sexual preparation, sexual activity and finally sexual lease. During this last phase, the mind is in its purest form, single pointed and focussed. At this point we transcend our body and reach that immense state of pure energy, which is the cause of our being. Only the energy that is generated through the practice of union with a consort could have the power to blast through the residue of centuries of egoistic behaviour and immersion in illusion and negativity, and to dissolve the layers of hatred and fear within the heart.

Very few of us can really relate sex to the world of spiritual emancipation. This is because of our conditioning from the time we understand sex- that sexuality is something that needs to be hidden or something that needs to be frowned upon. Rarely do we come across anybody who knows or accepts that sex is neutral, that this can be so much a part of our spiritual experience. It is seemingly an incongruous combination. But the truth is that scared sex exists. And no, this is not a new fanged idea but it is something as old as our religion itself.

Rightly they say, heaven within us resides

To rise it out, we need but love; we act as her aides.

It is about how you enjoy and achieve the mastery over your body that will take your love making to new heights.

Lessons of the Square Watermelon

Japan has again shown off one of its greatest innovations - square watermelons. For years consumers struggled to fit the large round fruit in their refrigerators. The round watermelon is unlikely to go out of favor. And then there was the problem of trying to cut the fruit when it kept rolling around. But 20 years ago a forward-thinking farmer on Japan's south-western island of Shikoku solved the problem. The farmer, from Zentsuji in Kagawa prefecture, came up with the idea of making a cube-shaped watermelon which could easily be packed and stored. To make it happen, farmers grew the melons in glass boxes and the fruit then naturally assumed the same shape. Today the cuboid watermelons are hand-picked and shipped all over Japan. But the fruit, on sale in a selection of department stores and upmarket supermarkets, appeals mainly to the wealthy and fashion-conscious of Tokyo and Osaka, Japan's two major cities. Each melon sells for 10,000 yen, equivalent to about $83. It is almost double, or even triple, that of a normal watermelon.

The Story Behind it is-

Japanese grocery stores had a problem. They are much smaller than shops in other countries and therefore don’t have room to waste. Watermelons, big and round, wasted a lot of space. Most people would simply tell the grocery stores that the watermelons grow round and there is nothing that can be done about it.

That is how majority of people would respond. But some Japanese farmers took a different approach. If the supermarkets wanted a square watermelon, they asked themselves, ‘How can we provide one?’ It wasn’t long before they invented the square watermelon

The solution to the problem of round watermelons was not to solve as the farmers did no assume it was impossible – and simply asked how it could be done.

They found out that if you put the watermelon in a square box when they are growing, the watermelon will take on to the shape of the box- and grow into a square fruit.

This made the grocery stores happy and had the added benefit that it was much easier and cost effective to ship the watermelons. Consumers also loved them because they took less space in their refrigerators which are much smaller than those in other countries, meaning that the grower could charge a premium price for them.

What does this have to do with anything in life or at our job? There are a few Lessons that can you can take away from this story which helps you,

Don’t assume; the major problem was that most people had always seen round watermelons so they automatically assumed that square watermelons were impossible before even thinking about the question. Things that you have been doing a certain way your entire life have taken on the aura of the round watermelon and you likely don’t even take the time to consider if there is another way to do it. Breaking yourself from assuming this way can greatly improve your overall life as you are constantly looking for new and better ways to do things.

Question habits: The best way to tackle these assumptions is to question your habits. If you can make an effort to question the way you do things on a consistent basis, you will find that you can continually improve the way that you work. Forming habits when they have been well thought out is usually a positive thing, but most of us have adopted our habits from various people and places without even thinking about them.

Be Creative: When faced with a problem, be creative in looking for a solution. This often requires thinking outside the box. Most people who viewed this question likely thought they were being asked how they could genetically alter watermelons to grow square which would be a much more difficult process to accomplish. By looking at the question from an alternative perspective, however, the solution was quite simple. Being creative and looking at things in different ways in all portions of your live will help you find solutions too many problems where others can’t see them.

Look for a better way: The square watermelon question was simply seeking a better and more convenient way to do something. The stores had flagged a problem they were having and asked if a solution was possible. It’s impossible to finds a better way if you are never asking the question in the first place. Get into the habit of asking yourself, “Is there a better way I could be doing this?” and you will find there often is.

Impossibilities often aren’t: If you begin with the notion that something is impossible, then it obviously will be for you. If, on the other hand, you decide to see if something is possible or not, you will find out through trial and error. Take away the lessons from the square watermelons and apply them to all areas in your life (work, finances, relationships etc.) and you will find out that by consistently applying them, you will constantly be improving all aspects of your life.

I AM SURE WE CAN BRING ABOUT CHANGE IF WE REALLY WANT TO.

PHILOSOPHY OF NAMASTE नमस्ते

The main point of all Indian Spiritual practices is to raise the Kundalini Shakti कुण्डलिनी शक्ति / Serpent power (The agent of soul expansion) from the Muldhara Chakra मूलधारा चक्र in the perineum to the Sahasara Chakra सहसरा चक्र in the head, thereby enlarging knowledge and insight and opening up the world of higher consciousness. All the exercise found in our various systems of Yoga, namely, Bhakti भक्ति, (Devotion,) Karma कर्म (action), and Jnana ज्ञान, (Knowledge), are based on Dharma धर्म (Righteousness) and are complementary in the process which is evolutionary in nature. This is the concept of Ardhanaareesware अर्धनारेश्वर (Shiva शिव and Shakti शक्ति in one cosmic form). Basically Man and Woman are not separate entity. The combination of man and woman is ONE. Man is incomplete without woman and Woman is incomplete without man. ARDHNAAREESWARE अर्धनारेश्वर mean Half man and Half woman.

Shiva शिव is the Lord of Yoga योग in our tradition and the Shakti शक्ति is Bio-Energy that is Creative power in us to realize the highest goal in life. Ardhanaareeswara अर्धनारेश्वर is the one cosmic Form in which both the matter and spirit are perfectly united and integrated. We are reminded of this highest philosophy of life as and when we do NAMASTE नमस्ते in our day to day life because the wise people who introduced this Namaste in our culture knew that in this practice alone lays our real happiness.

The literary meaning of Namaste नमस्ते is; I bow my head in front of you. The simple act on the part of a person of bringing the left hand and right hand together. Just over the breast is accepted as a humble greeting and reciprocated accordingly knowing or unknowingly, however helped themselves to make any progress in their lives and in the lives of the others did it in tune with the spirit of Namaste नमस्ते. Where ever the humility is absent and not expressed in any human forms of matter and spirit, whether it is in the relationship between employer and the employed, Student and teacher, rich and poor, man and woman etc. there remain tension and frustration in the life of man and woman and nation.

We do many things, which include criticizing and fault finding without knowing why and for what we are doing them. These actions produce no meaningful result compared to those of a man who acts with proper understanding. The gesture of Namaste नमस्ते embodies the efforts to know and act properly. The spirit of this simple practice does produce better understanding and genuine interest in human welfare, not only in our country but also in the whole world.

Namaste नमस्ते is part and partial of the system of self-culture of this land, which has been revived recently by Seer / Saints and others. Therefore, in addition to cultivating a life according to its great philosophy, Namaste नमस्ते helps us to work out life in harmony with the progress of our evolutionary process.

We can find not in India but in Asia millions of religious minded people doing Namaste नमस्ते to various deities in our temples, but many people now a day, do it quite mechanically without knowing its significance. That they are not sincere to the philosophy of Namaste नमस्ते may be due to their not knowing about it.

The purity that develops in us is based on the right understanding of two aspects of life symbolized by the folded hands in Namaste नमस्ते. The folded hands are always drawn towards the breast and placed right in front of the heart. What is the reason for this?

The body is a combination of chemical elements. Indian Saints knew this fact thousands of years ago and it was clarified and taught by Kapila Maharishi कपिल महर्षि through Sankhya Yoga संख्य योग . This was long before the discoveries of modern science in this line. He explained that all the forms are a combination of Earth (Solid), Water (Liquid), Fire (Gas), Air (Oxygen), and Ether (Subatomic Matter). Tantric तांत्रिक School of Yoga योग without it no form can ever exist also recognized the source of Bio-Energy on which all these elements depend as Kundalini Shakti कुण्डलिनी शक्ति / Serpent power.

In the Kundalini Yoga कुण्डलिनी योग system and tantric practice, stage of understanding has been linked with the knowledge of the chemical combination of this world and the spirit that keeps it going. The location of these centers of consciousness had been made on the Torso. A man can still live when both the legs and hands are amputated. But none can survive when the torso is cut apart. This proves the correct location of Bio-energy of Kundalini Shakti कुण्डलिनी शक्ति / Serpent Power in connection with the special cord in living beings.

The energy of spirit is that which is important in man and it is to be maintained in harmony with the form. In this alone lies hope for progress in human evolution. This harmony is the basic theme of Namaste नमस्ते in our culture. This is also the cream of the teachings of various yoga systems. The sum total of this energy or spirit is called self or GOD and is one and the same to everyone in this world. It is so because the principles of functioning of the form and spirit are common to all mankind’s.

The spiritual heart in man is recognized in Yoga systems as Anahata Chakra अनहता चक्र or air element. Consider the working of a turbo-generator. It though the co-operation of the solid form of the engine with the suitable steam form boiling water that results are achieved and work is done, Similar is the case with the body. It works because we take solid and liquid food and convert it to energy by digesting it with the aid of digestive fire, this stirs the heart to life and the relationship between cause and abstaining from food for a few days can test effect here.

The spiritual heat, which is made of the air-element, is the seat of feeling in us. To start with, it is this little feeling that helps us to expand emotionally and intellectually in thought, word, and deed. Therefore, the simple silent Namaste नमस्ते remind us to recognize the important center of our life principle and communicate the feeling of welcome and friendship to the person when we wish it.

Now we can well imagine how significant is Namaste नमस्ते in our culture and how it can help us to attain cordial relations with one and all in this world. This Namaste नमस्ते creates a feeling of belonging, friendliness, and brotherhood among people and establishes a true welfare society where there is no dearth of basic necessities of life for common man. At the same time it makes us ponder our matter and spirit, life and death in humanity with feeling that keeps on expanding in every one of us in tune with nature.

Namaste नमस्ते is the cultivation of a new trend in our personality and integrated approach to life. It is like the negative and positive terminals that help to generate light. It cannot be cultivated by indulging in any one thing without any inhibitions.

Purity is the backbone of four spiritual progresses. Purity of body and mind are essential to make any progress in the field of higher consciousness or even to transcend our subconscious. Consciousness is ever pure and limitless and purity in life identifies us with it. We are neither sure of the existence of this nor do we have any knowledge of it as a thing in itself because our bodies and minds are not pure. But Namaste नमस्ते can help us here, objective study can guide us to subjective understanding but it is practice and discipline which leads to reduction of impurity. This cannot be achieved through any kind of indulgence.

In Namaste नमस्ते we are integrated with purity of thought into oneness and with the proper understanding of matter and spirit embodied in the joined hands and humanity expressed by the bowed head, we attune ourselves to the unknown power consciousness with us.

Namaste नमस्ते is distinct from all other forms of greeting, such as the handshake, in that it helps us to transcend the self-imposed physical and mental limitations. Two people must be involved in the handshake for each to be satisfied. This imposes limitations and it became physically impossible to deal with large number of people, as in an assembly, but in Namaste नमस्ते one man can greet thousands of people. And simultaneously thousands in the audience respond with Namaste नमस्ते.

We also find our artists doing it as and when they come on the stage. This, no doubt, brings individual satisfaction to all. Namaste नमस्ते mentally takes shape in the heart and transcends beyond it, until it enables us to achieve unity in diversity is expended consciousness. Therefore Namaste नमस्ते helps to establish report with people without any inhibition or limitations. What so ever.

Repetition of our action establishes strong tendencies and from character and conduct. This process operates both for good and for evil. Therefore, if a custom like greeting with Namaste नमस्ते is done by us in our daily lives sincerely and humbly. After us in our daily lives sincerely and humbly, after knowing its philosophy and significance, it is bound to help us to mould our lives in tune with the true spirit of Namaste नमस्ते.

It is customary to do Namaste नमस्ते to one’s deity, parents, teachers, guests, friends, and holy men. This helps a man to extend it to all human beings who comes in contact with him. Gradually this practice even helps him to do Namaste नमस्ते to all living beings as all the living beings are considered to be within the family of one God, who is the real creator. Soon after the (Aarti आरती) or showing of the light made of wicks of chamfer to the deity is over, it is customary for all the participants to do Namaste नमस्ते to the presiding deity. This is done to remind the devotees who take part in such congregations to surrender themselves to the source of life without any reservation. It is also a reminder to the people of the Namaste नमस्ते Philosophy. Many sculptures and paintings in our temples and museums indicate that this practice was prevalent in ancient India.

Self-surrender is the essence of devotion and faith and this faith develops out of the repeated performance of Namaste नमस्ते before any form of deity. In the matter of self-surrender, most people do it half-heartedly.

The self-surrender demanded by the practice of Namaste नमस्ते should not be mistaken for the surrender of the ego of a person to the ego of another person. It is surrender to the self or Bio-energy in both. It is the feeling of the unity in diversity that is achieved by the element of humility and surrender in Namaste नमस्ते.

When persons inimical to each other do Namaste नमस्ते in proper attitude, it is bound to reduce tension in mind and animate and help them to achieve cordially and friendship.

Though simple and easy Namaste नमस्ते is the higher form of Sadhana साधना or spiritual practice containing the cream of selfless service, devotion, dedication and self-surrender for attaining the wisdom of unity in diversity. It helps a man to cultivate spirit of selfless service; devotion to God, dedication to noble causes self –surrender to divinity and a feeling or oneness and brotherhood of humanity in his relation to fellow beings in tune with Reality.

A man is transformed into this attitude by doing Namste नमस्ते in it’s to spirit. But Namaste नमस्ते, if practiced sincerely, will definitely lead a person day by day nearer to the final goal while helping to maintain a harmonious relation with his surroundings and contact. Sincerely and humility in our daily practice of Namaste नमस्ते build-up honest in life.

Whenever anyone succeeded in any undertaking material or spiritual, we find that he was always sincere, humble, and honest to his establishment or ideas. In the same manner, whenever we see the downfall of a powerful person who was pretending to be trying that he was lacking in these qualities.

In fact, our ego melts in Namaste नमस्ते when we make up our mind to feel that there are many more universes yet to be discovered by us. The spirit of integrating elements in Namaste नमस्ते helps a millionaire to understand the plight of a poor man to appreciate the position of a rich man. Namaste नमस्ते, in fact, practically, helps us to integrate these two aspects in all walks of life. No methods however cleverly, logically and scientifically planned and designed for propaganda can ultimately produce better results if the Namaste नमस्ते spirit of integrating matter and spirit based on the minimum of qualifications needed for its practice is absent in our day to day life.

The I-DEA of ‘I’ (1)

Virtue and order in one’s life harmonizes what is initially called the daily secular life and what is practiced as yoga or meditation. This division of life is also the work of the ego.

Common sense tells that east and west, above and below, right and left, meet in me. When you stand on the ground all that lies in the facing direction is the east and all that lies in the other direction is the west. If you move a mile in the easterly direction, what you previously considered east has joined the west. Is it difficult than to see that you are not only the meeting point but also the dividing factor?

Caught in this trap of “I” am this or “I” am that we are not aware that there is a state of peace of mind, and existence that is unconditioned. Every time we want to get out of one trap, we walk into another trap. This is so because we have no idea whatever that a state beyond all this exists.

In yoga योग, at the beginning of our practice, it has to be taken for granted that there is a state of consciousness, accessible to all of us. Provided we are willing to take the necessary steps, in which there is no confusion, conflict, distress or disharmony a state of bless, joy and peace which is reached through yoga योग, through meditation, through the understanding of the mind and its modification. Chitta चित and Vritti वृति When you are not in that state of yoga योग, then the state of your mind, the thought and the feelings that prevails in it, determine the world around you. An object does not exist except as the sum total of all the thoughts of all the observers, when all these thoughts and viewpoints, opinions and descriptions are dropped the object is what it is? Not as an object any more.

These are the words. It is when you become like little children, as the bhagavatham भागवतम declares that the greatest sages are like little children. If you wish to learn to meditate the only person to teach you is a baby less than six weeks old. When you look into its eyes, you will know what yoga योग means. There it is in all its absolute purity gazing at you without projecting a single thought of what you are?

Patanjali पातांजलि gives us a three-word phrase about Yoga योग in his Yoga Sutras योगसूत्र . (Yoga योग is Chitta चित, Vritti वृति, Nirodha निरोध. These words cannot easily be translated into English.

Problem is bound to confront us but they can be faced and surmounted by ensuring that “God” resides within us permanently. To keep God as “captive” the only requirement is that we should dedicate all our acts and the results there of, at His feet. Whenever we undertake a task, whether simple or complicated, we should remember the Almighty and seek his direction. Such an attitude provides us the base to launch our attacks to counter the impediments.

This will mean that we should totally shed “ego” and firmly believe that our achievements. If any are only due to the guidance given by God. If the sense of Varity that “I” have done it or that “I” am chiefly responsible for its success.” Is dropped all form of obstacles will vanish; what is necessary is to cultivate the feeling that our wisdom, if any, poles into insignificance before the supreme power of God. When God “occupies” a place in our hearts. He can act as a bright source of power with which we can light thousands of lamps. “I” am nothing” but God “You are everything” should be our guiding factor.

We should try to acquire certain qualities, the most vital being “Fearlessness”. We should not be afraid of anyone, excepting God. Fear may prevent us from realizing God and developing devotion. The battle of life should be fought relentlessly. Without succumbing or yielding to fear “Strength is life and weakness is death”. We should not attach too much importance to our personality. On the other hand God’s mercy and His gracious acts in saving devotees should be praised.

The body of everyone is made of the same substance. For all of us food comes from the same source, the earth, Prana प्राण the life force is cosmic. We are all breathing the same air. We all have the same intelligence within us. It cannot be divided. Yet when someone calls you a fool, you become angry. But when you say. “My hand is dirty” the hand does not strike the tongue for this remark. Yet this is what we do one another. Somebody insults you and at once you want to retaliate. We eat the same food, but each one wants to destroy the other because “I” feel that “I” am different from him”.

The self is the self. Its identity is intrinsic: “I am who I am,” “I am that I am.” The self has no identity. It is pure identity, being it is pure identity, being itself. In the self we are all that we see, and to see is to be. This is the ultimate equation, the solution to all questions, in which all things become one. The true self can never be a thing. To think that “I” am this or “I” am that is to lose identity as the pure “I” am. To think “I” need this to “I” need that is to become caught in a stream of dependency because the external can never be intrinsic or independent.

To have an image of one’s self is to lose the self, to make it into a commodity. To become something is to lose one’s identity as the pure subject and become an object among objects in an uncertain would. We suffer because we do not have a self. Our identity is dependent upon something or person that we are connected with. Identity that is dependent, that is given by another lid a name or a title is a fiction. It is a superimposition of thought, and though it may distract us for a time, it cannot afford us peace. We suffer because we keep the self in the not self, the subject in the object. We try to find happiness by achievement and acquisition in the external world. But achievement is becoming a bigger or better object.

Acquisition is the accumulation of objects around our assumed objectivity or materiality. But to be an object is to be heavy, dependent and transient. Objectivity is not a state of happiness or fulfilment. Happiness is only possible in eternal existence. Which is only possible in the pure subject? As long as we think we need something to be ourselves, we will always be dependent on another. We will always be somebody else or trying to please someone else.

We will never be ourselves but will be trapped in the conditioned response around us. We will be victims of other people’s thoughts. The true self is not the ego. It is not the “I” want that’. It is devoid of any self-mage. Misleading because it being belongs to it. Yet it is who we naturally are. It is the state of pure seeing devoid of any objectification of self or other.

How does this happen? We have forgotten that we are all one. And when this is forgotten there is a peculiar polarization the other and “I”. Neither cosmic intelligence nor cosmic ignorance creates the concept, the idea of you and me. It is in the shadow of that the “I” arise and this “I” creates You and the Other”.

Perhaps the first person “I” is nothing but the abbreviation of the full word idea. The “I” may itself be nothing more than an idea. However, as soon as the Idea arises, it creates you, the other person, then he, she and its.

The problem of our world is that the human being, the individual each “I” become the centre of the Universe as soon as the ego-sense arises. Why do two individual fights? Because each one assumes that he is the centre and that everything must somehow be related to his pleasure to his will. This self-limited cosmic being, which is the individual personality that goes on building relationship, it is all ignorance. The child and the grandchild of ignorance can only be ignorance just as all off spring of man can only be human. So everything which manifests within this cosmic being or cosmic consciousness is borne of ignorance. The self-limited infinite, which is called the individual, looks around, feels registers and reacts. Fear, contempt, like, dislike, attraction, repulsion, approval, disapproval all these spring form the ignorant self-limitation that is called ego.

Once the Idea of “I” is there it becomes the centre of the entire Universe. Who determines what is East and what is West? The deciding factor is where you stand at the moment. You lay down the law as a Nation or as a culture. It depends on where you stand physically, psychological, morally or spiritually. “We” declare this to be good and that to be bad, that is pleasant and this is not pleasant. The centre of creation is always “I” and collectively “We.”

From this “I” comes raga राग (attraction, approval or liking) and dvesa द्वेष (repulsion, rejection or dislike). Raga राग is better translated as approval and dvesa द्वेष as disapproval. If someone gently scratches your back you approve him, but if he twists your arm, you disapprove him. This is so because you see yourself as the centre of the Universe.

How can one restrain all these innumerable thought-wave or idea or notions with which one identifies oneself, because of one’s original identification with one idea, the Idea? How does one return to the source, the truth the reality of one indivisible consciousness?

The teaching of Patanjali पातांजलि points out that there is this cosmic being, cosmic oneness, cosmic harmony, and cosmic consciousness, which have been mysteriously rapture, fractured by ego-sense. The ego-sense says, “This is I” therefore “That is you”. From this division flows an interminable stream of worry, anxiety, fear and hate. How does one put an end to this? By realizing that you are the stream. The moment you realize that, the menace has ceased. The “I” am anxious “Duality creates a distinction between ‘I’ and anxiety, anxiety no longer haunts you. You are it, and there are no more struggles. The anxiety as anxiety falls away.

A very holy man pointed out “Fear is the first product of Duality. The realization of non-duality is Yoga योग. But you cannot create harmony, bring about unity, or non-duality, there is no need, no possibility of this. It is already there. But what you can and must do is observe how and where this oneness has been disrupted. If one sincerely and seriously carries out this observation, then it does not take a split second to realize that the break happens the moment the ‘I’ thought arises. The moment the feeling “I” am ‘This’ comes up, that thought, the Vritti वृति, mental modification creates the “you” and there is conflict.

What yoga योग philosophy suggests, if one studies it without preconceived notions and prejudices, is this. When you observe the ego, it is possible that you discover that the ego, is not an entity like a table or a tape recorder.

The ego is more like an assembly in the sense that Buddha बुद्ध used the word. What you call consciousness, the self, is nothing but an assembly of past impression and experience. Buddha बुद्ध did not deny the existence of the world and its objects.

Once a man asked the Lord Buddha "I want Happiness"

The Lord Buddha भगवान् बुद्ध said "First remove “I” That's ego"
"Then remove 'Want' That's desire"
"See now you're left with only 'Happiness' "

How to meet the God.

If you want to meet God, then you must have self surrender. God is within you. He will not come from outside. It is your I-hood or ego that stands in the way. This ego comes up when you are conscious of the Body, whether physical, astral or casual. When you rise above the physical body. the physical I-hood is eliminated. When you rise above the astral body. you lose the astral I-hood, when you rise above the causal body then you will completely understand who you are. Your will is the will of the Lord. The Lord’s will is within you.

The ABC starts from where? When you obey the orders of the Guru (Master). What does the Guru (Master) says, “keep your life pure- For a while leave off from outside and introvert within—Rise above body consciousness—Come into contact with the God into expression power. The light and sound Principle within you—Then rise above the astral and causal bodies. You will realise what is meant by “I and my father are One”. You can then rise further into the Super Conscious state. This is the ultimate goal.” The ABC starts from complete self surrender and implicit obedience to the Guru (Master), the God in Him of course. We respect His body, because the human pole is blessed at which the God Power works, at which it manifests. The man who is attached to the outward things of name or fame, how can he take even one step on the way?

So this is what is always enjoined by all Guru (Masters) who came in the past. They came here to bring you back to God. But the people don’t pay any attention to them. They sometimes go out of their way to molest the Guru (masters). So if we want to progress on the way back to God, these are the steps that we have to take. You must have implicit obedience. Why get stuck in the physical enjoyments and the outward things? You should rise above them.

When an old man died in the geriatric ward of a nursing home

When an old man died in the geriatric ward of a nursing home in an Australian country town, it was believed that he had nothing left of any value.

Later, when the nurses were going through his meagre possessions, They found this poem. Its quality and content so impressed the staff that copies were made and distributed to every nurse in the hospital.

One nurse took her copy to Melbourne. The old man's sole bequest to posterity has since appeared in the Christmas editions of magazines around the country and appearing in mages for Mental Health. A slide presentation has also been made based on his simple, but eloquent, poem.

And this old man, with nothing left to give to the world, is now the author of this 'anonymous' poem winging across the Internet.
Cranky Old Man

What do you see nurses? . . .. . .What do you see?
What are you thinking .. . when you're looking at me?
A cranky old man, . . . . . .not very wise,
Uncertain of habit .. . . . . . . .. with faraway eyes?
Who dribbles his food .. . ... . . and makes no reply.
When you say in a loud voice . .'I do wish you'd try!'
Who seems not to notice . . .the things that you do.
And forever is losing . . . . . .. . . A sock or shoe?
Who, resisting or not . . . ... lets you do as you will,
With bathing and feeding . . . .The long day to fill?
Is that what you're thinking?. .Is that what you see?
Then open your eyes, nurse .you're not looking at me.
I'll tell you who I am . . . . .. As I sit here so still,
As I do at your bidding, .. . . . as I eat at your will.
I'm a small child of Ten . .with a father and mother,
Brothers and sisters .. . . .. . who love one another
A young boy of Sixteen . . . .. with wings on his feet
Dreaming that soon now . . .. . . a lover he'll meet.
A groom soon at Twenty . . . ..my heart gives a leap.
Remembering, the vows .. .. .that I promised to keep.
At Twenty-Five, now . . . . .I have young of my own.
Who need me to guide . . . And a secure happy home.
A man of Thirty . .. . . . . My young now grown fast,
Bound to each other . . .. With ties that should last.
At Forty, my young sons .. .have grown and are gone,
But my woman is beside me . . to see I don't mourn.
At Fifty, once more, .. ...Babies play 'round my knee,
Again, we know children . . . . My loved one and me.
Dark days are upon me . . . . My wife is now dead.
I look at the future ... . . . . I shudder with dread.
For my young are all rearing .. . . young of their own.
And I think of the years . . . And the love that I've known.
I'm now an old man . . . . . . .. and nature is cruel.
It's jest to make old age . . . . . . . look like a fool.
The body, it crumbles .. .. . grace and vigour, depart.
There is now a stone . . . where I once had a heart.
But inside this old carcass . A young man still dwells,
And now and again . . . . . my battered heart swells
I remember the joys . . . . .. . I remember the pain.
And I'm loving and living . . . . . . . life over again.
I think of the years, all too few . . .. gone too fast.
And accept the stark fact . . . that nothing can last.
So open your eyes, people .. . . . .. . . open and see.
Not a cranky old man .
Look closer . . . . see .. .. . .. .... . ME!!

Remember this poem when you next meet an older person who you might brush aside without looking at the young soul within. We will all, one day, be there, too!

Benefits of having Meal on the floor

You must have always wondered why our grandparents always asked us to eat food sitting crossed legged. It is because when we sit on the floor and eat, it has many health benefits.

Signals brain: When you sit on the floor, you usually sit crossed legged in Sukhasana or a half Padmasana which are poses that instantly bring a sense of calm and help in digestion. It is believed to automatically trigger the signals to your brain to prepare the stomach for digestion.

Aids digestion: While eating meal on the floor, you will naturally have to bend forward from your hips instead of just your chest and sit back up to position to swallow. This constant back and forth movement causes the muscles of your abdomen to be active, increases secretion of stomach acids, make it easier to digest food.

You can lose weight: When you sit on the floor, your brain automatically, calm down and is better equipped to focusing on the food you eat, helps you finish, leaving a sense of satisfaction. And you have to get up and move more muscles to go for second serving. It curbs craving or binge eating.

Improve posture: Good posture helps prevent injuries but it also reduces the chances of excessive strain on muscles and joints. When you sit on the floor your awareness on posture improves within few days, making your back straight, lengthening your spine and pushes back your shoulders- common aches and pains that come with bad posture vanish.

Improve circulation: Floor seating helps circulation as the blood flows naturally through the heart to digestive organs. It affords you a healthy heart with strong muscles to help it cope with the pressure of daily Life.
