SHIVA in the Physiology.

SHIVA represents pure silence – the wholeness of Natural Law available in complete, full silence. Shiva is traditionally represented in the form of a Lingam लिंगम.

The brain controls the total activity of the physiology. When the brain is functioning in perfect balance, pure consciousness – Transcendence -- is experienced, During practice of Meditation समाधी, an individual experiences infinite peace, and silence within himself.

The brain as a whole is the instrument of the experience of pure consciousness. As such, the brain represents SHIVA शिव in His Lingam लिंगम form. A ventral view of the brain, which has the shame shape as a SHIVA LINGAM. शिव लिंगम

SHIVA शिव in the form of a Lingam लिंगम corresponds to the entire, but SHIVA शिव has also been represented in the form as describe the details of SHIVA शिव in the Vedic वैदिक Literature, and how the various aspects are actually present within the brain.

The word "Shiva शिव " in Sanskrit संस्कृत means highest good. Lord Shiva भगवान् शिव (Shiva शिव) is the presiding Deity of eternal, auspicious well-being of all creation. But we, the so-called worshippers of Shiva शिव never even think of good. (Forget about, we don’t even attempt to expand the narrow domain of our selfish interests and engage ourselves in altruistic service and up-liftment of the needy around us). We keep chanting "Om Namah Shivaya ओम नमः शिवाय " but don’t bother to know its meaning; in reality, Shiva शिव is far away from our lives. We don’t even know what is the true well-being of our soul or our own life and how to attain it? The japa जप (rhythmic chanting) of Shiva’s शिव name will be beatifying if "Shiva शिव " (Highest Good) is embodied in our attitude, aspirations, thoughts and deeds. It is time we realize that worshipping only the external, gross form is no better than not doing anything at all.

The Details of SHIVA शिव in the Physiology

The Vedic वैदिक Literature gives a precise description of SHIVA शिव and the items surrounding HIM. From SHIVA’S शिव head, on which the crescent moon is placed, the Ganga गंगा River flows in three directions. Om ओम his forehead is a third Eye. His hear has a knot tied by a string of Rudraksha रुद्राक्ष beads. Around His neck is a great cobra सर्प. He has with him a drum डमरू a water pot, and trident त्रिशूल
