The Starting point of world Transformation

Change is natural phenomenon and humans also yearn for change. We are going through a phase in which most people are seeking a quick change in the World as moral, social and political conditions have become unbearable. Every man wants to change pain into pleasure, turbulence into peace, hate into love and ignorance into knowledge. Every soul longs for a life of purity, peace and happiness. The only one who is capable of fulfilling every soul’s wish is the Supreme Soul, whose incarnation is celebrated during Shivratri शिवरात्री every year.

If the spiritual secretes behind the festival of Shivratri शिवरात्री are understood, World transformation will take place easily. Shivratri शिवरात्री is not a festival for just Saivities. If one studies ancient civilisations and cultures it becomes apparent that Shivratri शिवरात्री is a festival for all souls in the World. For example in Mahabharata महाभारत it’s written- “When this World plunged into clutches of darkness and vicious proliferation, an egg like form of light descended and established a new World order.”

In the Manusmriti मनुस्मृति, it is mentioned that in the very beginning of creation, a point of light manifested itself, and is brilliance was like that of a thousand Suns. Likewise, in the Dharma Samhita धर्म संहिता part of Shivpuran शिवपुरम, it is stated that at the end of Kaliyug कलियुग, during the time of destruction, a magnificent light (Jyotirlinga ज्योतिर्लिन्गम) revealed itself and it was blindingly luminous and radiant.

Further, it is said that the light was eternal and it never decreased or increased in size, and that the World was created through this light.

Not only Hindus हिन्दू, but also Jews, Christians and Muslims also believe in an incorporeal God. There are Shiva temples in every nook and corner of India. He is venerated as Vishwanath विश्वनाथ in East (Kashi काशी), Amarnath अमरनाथ in the North, Rameshwar रामेश्वर in the South, Somnath सोमनाथ in the West, Mahakaleshwar महाकालेश्वर in Ujjain उज्जैन, Kedarnath केदारनाथ in Himalayas हिमालय, Vaidyanath वैद्यनाथ in Bihar बिहार, Omkarnath ओंकारनाथ in Madhya Pradesh मध्यप्रदेश and Bhuvaneshwar भुवनेस्वर in Dwarka द्वारका. In Nepal नैपाल, Shiva शिव is worshipped as Pashupatinath पशुपतिनाथ.

The ancient names of God such as ‘Shuin’ in Babylon. ‘Seva’ or ‘Sevajya’ in Syria, Egypt and Fiji. ‘Sibru’ in the land occupied by the progeny of Abraham and Jehova are not too different from the Saskrit संस्कृत word ‘Shiva’, which. According to some scholars, is the confluence of two phonetic parts, ‘shi’ and ‘va’, meaning redeemer and liberator from sins and sufferings.

Muslims are enjoined cleanliness of five parts of the body before commencing prayers. This derives from the Vedic injection ‘Shareer Shydhyartham Panchanga Nyasah’ शरीर सिद्ध्यार्थम पंचांग नियश्ह नियाशः

Four months of the year are regarded as very sacred in Islamic custom. The devout are enjoined to abstain from plunder and other evil deeds during that period. This originates in the Chaturmasa चतुर्मास i.e., the four-month period of special vows and austerities in Hindu हिन्दू tradition. Shabibarat शबेबारात is the corrupt form of Shiva Vrat शिव वर्त  and Shiva Ratra शिवरात्र. The Shivaratri शिवरात्रि festival used to be celebrated with great gusto. It is that festival which is signified by the Islamic word Shabibarat शबेबारात.

From the above, it may be inferred that Supreme Soul Shiva शिव has done something praise worthy for the betterment of the whole World and hence He is remembered by people of all religions in different ways.
