Does God exist ???
The
professor of a university challenged his students with this question. "Did
God create everything that exists?" A student answered bravely, "Yes,
he did".
The
professor then asked, "If God created everything, then he created evil. Since
evil exists (as noticed by our own actions), so God is evil. The student
couldn't respond to that statement causing the professor to conclude that he
had "proved" that "belief in God" was a fairy tale, and
therefore worthless.
Another
student raised his hand and asked the professor, "May I pose a question?
" "Of course" answered the professor.
The
young student stood up and asked : "Professor does Cold exists?"
The
professor answered, "What kind of question is that? ...Of course the cold
exists... haven't you ever been cold?"
The
young student answered, "In fact sir, Cold does not exist. According to
the laws of Physics, what we consider cold, in fact is the absence of heat.
Anything is able to be studied as long as it transmits energy (heat). Absolute
Zero is the total absence of heat, but cold does not exist. What we have done
is create a term to describe how we feel if we don't have body heat or we are
not hot."
"And,
does Dark exist?” he continued. The professor answered "Of course".
This time the student responded, "Again you're wrong, Sir. Darkness does
not exist either. Darkness is in fact simply the absence of light. Light can be
studied, darkness can not. Darkness cannot be broken down. A simple ray of
light tears the darkness and illuminates the surface where the light beam
finishes. Dark is a term that we humans have created to describe what happens
when there's lack of light."
Finally,
the student asked the professor, "Sir, does evil exist?" The
professor replied, "Of course it exists, as I mentioned at the beginning,
we see violations, crimes and violence anywhere in the world, and those things
are evil."
The
student responded, "Sir, Evil does not exist. Just as in the previous
cases, Evil is a term which man has created to describe the result of the
absence of God's presence in the hearts of man."
After
this, the professor bowed down his head, and didn't answer back.
i hate to disagree with this story, but you don't need God in your heart to be a good person.
ReplyDeleteDear Sir, I agree with you. But Human Body does not resemble a palace; body resembles a temple in which the Ethereal Divine particle of God resides. Human body is indeed a work of art, a masterpiece, a geometric marvel, because it is a fine symmetrical combination of Tetrahedron, hexahedron, Octahedron, Dodecahedron, Icosahedrons which are the geometrical simple equation patterns of Panchamahabhootas (The five great spirits)
DeleteCreation has many aspects and among the various beautiful creations of God, the human body stands out prominently as His most wonderful creation. The body a mysterious moving palace within which God dwells. Intellect is His prime minister; mind is the commander; the ten senses are soldiers; the eyes are the windows of the palace; and the God who preside over the senses - eyes, nose, ears, for example -- are the gatekeepers.
It is rather ironical that despite the Lord dwelling right within the innermost chambers of one’s heart, people remain unaware of His presence throughout their lives. Under the influence of illusion, the power that deludes, people tend to cling to the perishable body even though it is filled with impurities like urine, faucal matter, puss, and so on and they get trapped in the vicious circle of the unending process of transmigration.
in the last paragraph, you mention how people are generally under the influence of illusion. i have to admit, that makes a huge difference on everyone's views. believing in something like God is hard for many people, myself included, because of what could be called 'illusions'.
Deletei do like to think there's more to life then what i understand. that's easily the one thing i can agree with you about. there's easily something greater then us in this vast universe. too many amazing things that we've yet to explain.
on a side note, i must admit that i enjoy reading what you post. always manages to make me think. keep up the excellent work around here.
Thanks Mr Storm I understand what you express. I write blog not to promote or ctisize/praise, the religion. but to guide our young to be human. Humanity is the best religion, let it be plants, birds, bees, animals or we human beings.
DeleteGOOD POST
ReplyDeleteThanks for Liking my blog
DeleteLovely story,
ReplyDeleteand it is noticable that if we turn the word 'evil' around we get the word 'live'. If we acknowledge God in all our ways by having our minds renewed in Christ Jesus, we are granted eternal life, that which we lost when Adam and Eve were forbidden to eat of the tree of life after being tempted to question God's word and disobey Him. Our carnal mind is enmity against God.
