Nature of Mind
A hard mind offers resistance to new information, and a hard mind propels one to much action even when inaction would have been better like say a Stalin or a Hitler !
What is a soft mind ------------- one which knows that it knows not !
It is said that hard mind offers resistance to new information. What I was saying is it also becomes a resistance to old information that is well within our subconscious mind. When there is an action propelled by the mind that means old information has succeeded in penetrating through the hard mind to pop to the surface to call for the action of the body.
Anything you focus well increase. When the body is focused on information propelled by the mind the body as no choice but to act - as in the case of Stalin and Hitler who were so focused on the Adharmic action.
A soft mind does not only know it knows not but is also willing to bent and blend to a source of its choice. It can either allow it self to be used by a lower dimension of body or be used by the higher dimension of our soul. This is symbolised by our sages through the breaking of a coconut.
The hard shell of the coconut symbolises our hard mind which comprises of our past solidified thoughts; the coconut water in the shell represents the spirit of our soul that is contained and compressed within the hard mind; the white flesh of the coconut symbolises our soul - pure and pristine; precious and auspicious.
When we throw with force the coconut to the ground - the shell shatters which symbolises the shattering of our past conditioned thoughts bundled as mind - when it is shattered, the water is released which symbolises the releasing of the spirit of our soul and the flesh is felt which symbolises the realisation of our soul.
Where logic ends divinity begins, when the mind becomes soft it lets go of the past and it paves way for a new horizon. The soul which is our natural divine self, the source of bliss (shambhava ) will intuit the mind to propel the body. The flow will be from the higher to the lower.
This flow with the flow to glow with the glow will be realised faster when our mind becomes equipoise and steady.
