This was the highest and was found to be the most powerful hymn in the world.

Through the combination of sound or sound waves of a particular frequency, this Mantra is claimed to be capable of developing specific spiritual potentialities.

The Hamburg University initiated research in to the efficacy of the Gayatri Mantra both on the mental and physical plane of CREATION...

The GAYATRI MANTRA is broadcasted daily for 15 minutes from 7 P.M. onwards over Radio Paramaribo, Surinam, South America for the past two years, and in Amsterdam, Holland for the last six months.

"Om Bhoor Bhuwah Swah, Tat Savitur Varenyam, Bhargo Devasya Dheemahi, Dhiyo Yo Nah Pra-chodayaat !"

भूर्भुवः स्वः तत्सवितुर्वरेण्यं भर्गो देवस्य धीमहि धियो यो नः प्रचोदयात्।

"It's meaning:
God is dear to me like my own breath, He is the dispeller of my pains, and giver of happiness. I meditate on the supremely adorable Light of the Divine Creator, that it may inspire my thought and understanding."

The above information is worth circulating and sharing with one and all! How rich and wonderful are our Vedas.

Bhagwat Geeta

New articles are being written every day, and millions of topics are available Worldwide. Still people just love reading them. The thirst for knowledge and wisdom, fiction and fun is insatiable. Once in a while we come across a book like Bhagwat Geeta that transforms us and changes the course of our life.

There are millions of books in the world, but this book of stands out far above any other book in existence. It is unfortunate that very few people are acquainted with this book because it is not a religious scripture. It is a parable, a fiction, but containing oceanic truth.

It is an extraordinary book in the sense that you can read it and miss it completely, because the meaning of the book is not in the words of the book. The meaning of the book is running side by side in silence between the words, between the lines, in the gaps. If you are in a state of meditative ness if you are not only reading a fiction but you are encountering the whole religious experience of a great human being, absorbing it; not intellectually understanding it. The words are there but they become secondary. Something else becomes primary: the silence that those words create. The words affect your mind, and the music goes directly to your heart.”

Reading a book like the book is an art by itself. And it is a book to be read by the heart, not by the mind. It is a book not to be understood, but experienced. It is something phenomenal. Millions of people have tried to write books so that they can express the inexpressible, but they have utterly failed.

Bhagwad Gita-It is my Joy to state that the subject covered in this (Bhagwad Gita) Total knowledge to bring complete enlightenment to everyone, simply because it is the essence of our sacred shashtras, Puranas, Vedas, and epics. The secretes of the nature are unrevealed before our eyes.

And as these secrets of nature are unrevealed before our eyes, we come to understand ourselves more fully and appreciate the benefits of living in harmony with the laws of nature. These are the laws that guide the sun and the stars, and cause the plants to grow and the flowers to bloom. This is the power we see at work within the human mind and the body, the power of the life itself. Such a study not only helps us to closer to the great mind that rules the mighty Universe all around us.

A living being, especially civilized man, has a natural desire to live forever in happiness. This is quite natural because, in his original state, the living being is both eternal and joyful. However, in the present conditioned state of life, he is engaged in a struggle against recurring birth and death. Therefore he has attained neither happiness nor immortality.

The latest desire man has developed is the desire to travel to other planets. This is also quite natural, because he has the constitutional right to go to any part of the material or spiritual skies. Such travel is very tempting and exciting because these skies are full of unlimited globes of varying qualities, and they are occupied by all types of living entities. The desire to travel there can be fulfilled by the process of yoga, which serves as a means by which one can transfer himself to whatever planet he likes--possibly to planets

Where life is not only eternal and blissful, but where there are multiple varieties of enjoyable energies. Anyone who can attain the freedom of the spiritual planets need never return to this miserable land of birth, old age, disease and death.

One can attain this stage of perfection very easily by his individual effort. He can simply follow, in his own home, the prescribed method of bhakti-yoga. This method, under proper guidance, is simple and enjoyable. An attempt is made herein to give information to the people in general, and to philosophers and religionists in particular, as to how one can transfer oneself to other planets by this process of bhakti-yoga --the highest of all yogic processes.

We are lucky to have been born on this sacred land, which once upon a time was the Land of gods. It can and should still regain its glory, if we, the devotees, the worshipers of the Vedic (Indian) Philosophy, sincerely adopt its values and attempt towards spiritual elevation of our conduct and refinement of the ambience around us. Divine beings generate love, peace, beauty, piety, bliss and prosperity wherever they go. We should also adopt and expand such qualities.

Truly we live in a thrilling age. Everyday new discoveries are being made, so that we may live without pain and unnecessary suffering. We are continuously finding new ways of conquering the dread diseases that have so long held the whole human race in bondage.

This we know from the most ancient writing of the past. And still the wonderful search goes on, for there is no quest in which man and woman are as vitally interested as in this search for vibrant, youthful living.

Of Course The Man is the most superior creation of the cosmic order. Once he knows how he can improve his fortune, he will certainly take measures to improve it. He will become the architect of his destiny and not a tool of the destiny.

Human is better placed than the other species. He is not born just to enjoy pleasures. All sentiment being eaten, drinks, sleep, and possess sexual impulses. The Beast need not labor much to obtain their needs but the civilized man has to toil to get his food and shelter. By mere eating of grass the elephant grows to a huge size. A lion deprived of its meat will not consume grass. But man’s desire can never be satisfied, by enjoying pleasure. He has been gifted with various senses and he should use them properly.

The animals confronted with danger protect themselves in many ways. But man has no poisonous fangs to bite. Their hands and legs are used for constructive purposes. The organs provided for man should be utilized for creative purposes. The organs provided for man should be utilized for creating conditions for better living. No doubt that all the beings in the world have been created by a super power –God.

The millions of creature from amoebas to mighty animals do not acquire knowledge, but the human beings are a special category and they desire to equip themselves with knowledge and regulate their day-to-day activities.

Kwai - a river in western Thailand

Kwai (Khwae Noi) - a river in western Thailand near the border with Burma, flows into the Gulf of Thailand. During the Second World War two bridges were built across the river. During the building many Allied prisoners of war were killed. It remind me 60’s when I saw The David Lean film The “Bridge on the River Kwai.” Which was based on the novel by Pierre Boulle of the same title. The river and the events of the war were made famous by the film.

When the Japanese entered the Second World War, they immediately began to wonder how to avoid the blocking the Bay of Bengal by the Allies. The search for a different way between the gained lands, stretched from Singapore to the northern border of Burma. They decided that the best solution would be to build a railway - linking stations in Burma and Thailand. They marked trail through the valley of the River Kwai, although the area was almost inaccessible to man

Work on both ends of the railway line began in June 1942. It's hard to believe that up to 60 thousand slaves were forced to work. Allied prisoners of war later expanded the number to 200 thousand. Allied prisoners and Asian forced labourers, with the help of primitive tools, cut through 7 million cubic meters of rock and built nearly fifteen kilometres of bridges. When, after fifteen months the line was completed, it fully deserved to be called the "Railway of Death." The cost of lives rose to 16 thousand prisoners and 100 thousand Asian workers.

Advice From a 101 Year Old Doctor..!

Dr. Shigeaki Hinohara, Japan, turns 101 on 4th October 2012

As a 97 year old Doctor, he was interviewed, and gave his advice for a long and healthy life.
Shigeaki Hinohara is one of the world's longest-serving physicians and educators. Hinohara's magic touch is legendary: Since 1941 he has been healing patients at St. Luke's International Hospital in Tokyo and teaching at St. Luke's College of Nursing.

He has published around 15 books since his 75th birthday, including one "Living Long, Living Good" that has sold more than 1.2 million copies. As the founder of the New Elderly Movement, Hinohara encourages others to live a long and happy life, a quest in which no role model is better than the doctor himself.

Doctor Shigeaki Hinohara's main points for a long and happy life:

• Energy comes from feeling good, not from eating well or sleeping a lot. We all remember how as children, when we were having fun, we often forgot to eat or sleep. I believe that we can keep that attitude as adults, too. It's best not to tire the body with too many rules such as lunchtime and bedtime.

• All people who live long regardless of nationality, race or gender share one thing in common: None are overweight. For breakfast I drink coffee, a glass of milk and some orange juice with a tablespoon of olive oil in it. Olive oil is great for the arteries and keeps my skin healthy. Lunch is milk and a few cookies, or nothing when I am too busy to eat. I never get hungry because I focus on my work. Dinner is veggies, a bit of fish and rice, and, twice a week, 100 grams of lean meat.

• Always plan ahead. My schedule book is already full until 2014, with lectures and my usual hospital work. In 2016 I'll have some fun, though: I plan to attend the Tokyo Olympics!

• There is no need to ever retire, but if one must, it should be a lot later than 65. The current retirement age was set at 65 half a century ago, when the average life-expectancy in Japan was 68 years and only 125 Japanese were over 100 years old. Today, Japanese women live to be around 86 and men 80, and we have 36,000 centenarians in our country. In 20 years we will have about 50,000 people over the age of 100...

• Share what you know. I give 150 lectures a year, some for 100 elementary-school children, others for 4,500 business people. I usually speak for 60 to 90 minutes, standing, to stay strong.

• When a doctor recommends you take a test or have some surgery, ask whether the doctor would suggest that his or her spouse or children go through such a procedure. Contrary to popular belief, doctors can't cure everyone. So why cause unnecessary pain with surgery I think music and animal therapy can help more than most doctors imagine.

• To stay healthy, always take the stairs and carry your own stuff. I take two stairs at a time, to get my muscles moving.

• My inspiration is Robert Browning's poem "Abt Vogler." My father used to read it to me. It encourages us to make big art, not small scribbles. It says to try to draw a circle so huge that there is no way we can finish it while we are alive. All we see is an arch; the rest is beyond our vision but it is there in the distance.

• Pain is mysterious, and having fun is the best way to forget it. If a child has a toothache, and you start playing a game together, he or she immediately forgets the pain. Hospitals must cater to the basic need of patients: We all want to have fun. At St. Luke's we have music and animal therapies, and art classes.

• Don't be crazy about amassing material things. Remember: You don't know when your number is up, and you can't take it with you to the next place.

• Hospitals must be designed and prepared for major disasters, and they must accept every patient who appears at their doors. We designed St. Luke's so we can operate anywhere: in the basement, in the corridors, in the chapel. Most people thought I was crazy to prepare for a catastrophe, but on March 20, 1995, I was unfortunately proven right when members of the Aum Shinrikyu religious cult launched a terrorist attack in the Tokyo subway. We accepted 740 victims and in two hours figured out that it was sarin gas that had hit them. Sadly we lost one person, but we saved 739 lives.
• Science alone can't cure or help people. Science lumps us all together, but illness is individual. Each person is unique, and diseases are connected to their hearts. To know the illness and help people, we need liberal and visual arts, not just medical ones.

• Life is filled with incidents. On March 31, 1970, when I was 59 years old, I boarded the Yodogo, a flight from Tokyo to Fukuoka. It was a beautiful sunny morning, and as Mount Fuji came into sight, the plane was hijacked by the Japanese Communist League-Red Army Faction. I spent the next four days handcuffed to my seat in 40-degree heat. As a doctor, I looked at it all as an experiment and was amazed at how the body slowed down in a crisis.

• Find a role model and aim to achieve even more than they could ever do. My father went to the United States in 1900 to study at Duke University in North Carolina. He was a pioneer and one of my heroes. Later I found a few more life guides, and when I am stuck, I ask myself how they would deal with the problem.

• It's wonderful to live long. Until one is 60 years old, it is easy to work for one's family and to achieve one's goals. But in our later years, we should strive to contribute to society. Since the age of 65, I have worked as a volunteer. I still put in 18 hours seven days a week and love every minute of it.

What is Mantra ?

Speech is creative. It creates forms of emotion, mental images and impulses of action. Mantra मंत्र is a word of power born out of the secret depth of our being where it has been brooded upon by a deeper consciousness than the mental, framed in the heart and not constructed by the intellect, held in the mind, again concentrated on by the waking mental consciousness and then thrown out silently or vocally- the silent word is perhaps held to be more potent than the spoken- precisely for the work of creation. The Mantra मंत्र cannot only create new subjective states in ourselves, alter our physical being, reveal knowledge and faculties we did not possess earlier. It can also produce similar vibrations in the mental and vital atmosphere which result in effects, in actions and even in the production of material forms on the physical plan.

Use has to be made of some mental means or support by which the mind, accustomed to run about from object to object, shell get fixed on the idea of the divine. It is usually a name or a form or a mantra मंत्र by which the thought can be fixed in the sole knowledge or adoration of the Lord. By this concentration on the idea the mind enters from the idea into its reality, into which it sink silently, absorbed, unified.

Those who discuss / argue on Mantra मंत्र science mainly ask show some miracle. In fact to-day man has become so fast that he wants to grow seed on his hand.

Mantra मंत्र concentration is basically is word which is the base like seed, it grows slowly and become large and large. There is no wonder if word nature might create special changes in our life.

This world was created with Panch Bhuta पञ्च भूत i.e. Earth, Water, Fire, sky, and air. Modern Science also believes this. Our Sages & Saints also believe same. On this Panch Bhuta पञ्च भूत our language also developed and progresses in accordance with science. Language has got five (Varg वर्ग) their pronunciation is produced by five organs. (Kanth कंठ Tallu तालू Murdha मूर्धा dant दन्त and oshth ओष्ठ each has got its own importance/ recognition, but one element mix with other very easily. Same way each word from different (वर्ग) can be spoken with each other and do not loose their impression like the word made with (hankar हंकार hasti हस्ती hast हस्त singh सिंह mahaan महान) etc. All have (hankaar हंकार) (ha हां) is a symbol of ether. That is why the word made with (Hankaar हंकार) has attainment like sky.

What is Om ?- Om is the मंत्र, the expressive sound-symbol of the Brahmn ब्रह्म Consciousness. The function of the mantra मंत्र is to create vibrations in the inner consciousness. The mantra मंत्र Om ओं३म opens the consciousness to the sight and feeling of the One consciousness in all material things, in the inner being and in the supra-physical worlds, in the casual plan above, and finally, in the supreme librated transcendence above all cosmic existence. The mantra मंत्र is the most direct and heightened, an intense and most divinely burdened rhythmic word which embodies an intuitive and revelatory inspiration and envelops the mind with the sight and the presence of the very self, the innermost reality of things, with its truth and the divine soul forms of it, the Godheads which are born from the living Truth. It is a supreme rhythmic language which seizes hold upon all that is finite and brings into each the light and voice of its own infinite.

It is a word of power and light that comes from the over mind inspiration, or from some high plane of intuition. Its characteristics are a language that convey infinitely more than the language and is borne out of the infinite and disappears into it. It has power to convey not merely the mental, vital or physical content or indications or values of the thing uttered, but its significance and figure in some fundamental and original consciousness which is behind all these and greater.

When the mantra मंत्र sinks in yoga’s ear,

1. Its message enters stirring the blind brain, and keeps in the dim ignorant cells its sound.

2. The hearer understands a form of words, and musing on the index thought it holds

3. He strives to read it with the labouring mind, but fins bright hints, not the embodied truth.

4. Then, falling silent in himself to know, he meets the deeper listening of his soul.
5. The words repeat it in rhythmic strains.
6. Thought, vision, feeling, sense, and the body’s self. Are seized unutterably and he endures.
7. An ecstasy and an immortal change.
8. He feels wideness and becomes a power.
9. All knowledge ruses on him like a sea.
10. Transmuted by the white spiritual ray. He walks in naked heavens of joy and calm.
11. Sees the God-face and hears the transcendent speech.

Word combination is mantra.मंत्र -When we write it separately (A-U-M) ओं३म it is letters, when we write it combined and pronounces it becomes Mantra मंत्र. Every letter, which combines and creates a frequency vibration in air, is called Mantra मंत्र.

The word Mantra मंत्र comes from Rigveda ऋग्वेदः (Rik ऋग means mantra मंत्र). Mantra मंत्र can be divided into “man” मन and “tra.” त्र Man’ मन refers to the mind and ‘Tra’ त्र is the process thus the process to control / understand the mind is the essence of Mantra.मंत्र

Mantra मंत्र could be single word or a whole sentence. The most widely used is OM ओं३म or AUM . It is said that the first primordial sound produced at the time of creation was the syllable AUM ओं३म hence it became the first Mantra.मंत्र The sound ‘A’ starts from the vocal chords, ‘U’ from the throat and ‘M’ when the lips are closed thus completing the passage of sound in our body. As such this is the longest and the fullest vowel. AUM ओं३म embraces all the sounds within it and also represents the three states of consciousness viz. The waking state and the deep sleep state.

The sound of AUM ओं३म can be further broken down as ‘A’ for gross material world, which we perceive through our sense organs, ‘U’ or the subtle- your experiences, and ‘M’ stands for the un-manifest or the world of sleep. (For those who suffer from insomnia the best Mantra मंत्र is humming ‘mmmmmmm). Constant chanting of AUM ओं३म transcends barriers and connects us to the very source of existence or GOD.

Mantra मंत्र is a Godly power. It raises hidden power of human. Its regular recitation will fulfill all desires. The Science of Mantra मंत्र cannot be purchased of money or wealth. It does not require recognition for its truth by us. In fact this science does not require any equipment or machinery. This is only reason it has got an unfathomed depth of technique. It requires the guidance as in modern science. Also need guidance but it is in process that is why we don’t feel its necessity.

In materialistic view the Mantra मंत्र Science’s importance is reduced. That is the reason the knower of the Mantra मंत्र Science are not available in large. We will get many to believe that Cerodine tablet will reduce the head-ache, but hundreds of us will laugh, joke that there is such people who remove poison of snake bite, Scorpion bite or other poisonous insect by Mantras.मंत्र The reason we don’t get the people or capable person everywhere, every-now and then. In this only fault of Materialistic who has degraded this science. This does not mean that there is no truth in Mantra मंत्र science.
