Staying Happy

You have to be happy to receive the happy versions of other people!

With every single person you come into contact, you are either giving love or you’re not. And based on what you give, that is what you receive.

Give love to others through kindness, encouragement, support gratitude, or any good feeling, and it comes back to you multiplied in every area of your life.

Look for the things you love in a relationship more than you notice negative things and it will appear as if something incredible has happened to the other person.

You have to be happy to receive the happy versions of other people!

The force of love presents you with a whole array of personal Emotional Trainers, disguised as everyday people, but they are all training you to choose love.

Life is presenting every person and circumstance to you so you can choose what you love and what you don’t love. When you react to anything you are reacting with your feelings, and as you do, you are choosing it!

Changing the way you feel is easy compared to running around trying to change the circumstances of the outside word. Change your feelings and the outside circumstances will change !

Benefits of being polite

We all believe in the philosophy that the essence of life is talking. Communicating with others is as necessary as food. If we don’t, we tend to fall ill. Today people are rarely talking.

The art of conversation has almost died down. People just usually sit and chat in their office breaks about things that are not even worth thinking about. Let’s face it; we all are going towards doom where each one of us is talking to pass/kill time. The art of using communication is no more existing. People are concerned about others influence in their lives and not about their influence in other life.

It is an unbelievable thing that an effective communication through polite words can have wonderful impact on you and others lives as well. You can win the hearts of many people, climb the corporate ladder, have promotions but not have wonderful relationship with people around you.

The Path to a successful life comes through the stairs of politeness. An act of politeness can do wonders that no monetary things can do. Let us go deep in the art of efficient speaking by these methods.

Talking about ideas and not people

It’s truly said, great minds talk about ideas and small minds talk about people. Politeness is an attitude of life. Talking about ideas heightens your politeness towards innovations and stimulates your mind too. This is effective for the speaker and the listener both. To start talking about people you can breathe out all negative energies about anyone: latest crush, which saari she wears, which perfume she uses, to whom she talk, her bad attitude. The boy is roaming with that Girl, is she his Girl friend ? The idea is that everything you talk about people usually comes negative. This develops a feeling of self love and comparison at all means. You do not value your life as much as you do to others.

Using intellect instead of the tongue

Usually people chatter on at length not worrying about the impact it would have on others. Since people are so occupied in themselves they’d rather talk about themselves only. This instigates them to speak rubbish endlessly. Have you ever thought how much of an impact we can have on others by our words? By trying to use our brains before speaking, we will save others sentiments and preserve a healthy relationship between our near ones.

Avoiding gossip

The one who usually starts a gossip or backbiting about someone does not know that he is the one to have the last laugh. People who start commenting and spreading rumours about others usually end up in a muck of politics and bickering about themselves from the other end. Such people should be avoided at arm’s length. Even listening to gossip is a harmful since the listener had the power to listen to negative communication. This unhealthy gossiping could have been stopped if the listener would have ignored the speaker.

Exchange of compliments

We should not limit our compliment intake be restricted to our close relatives. People like our helpers such as servants, cleaners, house maids are those on whom we can count on. Speaking politely to them will ensure that your day is made. They are the ones who offer your services to make your life comfortable. So we should make endeavours to enrich their lives by complimenting and praising them.

Look for positive things in negative people

We all have negative and positive sides. Nobody on this earth has a squeaky clean nature. We all have flaws, however some people are observed negatively by their rude behaviour and we become very judgmental about them putting them in the negative category. We should understand that people who are rude have their own weaknesses. They do not choose to be like that. Frustrations at work or domestic front make them act in this behaviour. Such people should be offered more help than others comparatively. Talking politely with them will make a difference in their lives and yours too.

Feel positive about you all the time

Quite often we do not realize that we subconsciously become negative. Pent up emotions and unfulfilled desires make us behave rudely towards others and emit negative radiations from the body. Thus we tend to overreact and become rude and harsh to others in some or the other way. This might demolish the social circle that we have. So politeness in the hearts at all means will result in polite attitude.

Whatever is rested in your heart is bound to come out in the open some or the other day. Make sure you have a prosperous life with a polite attitude and selfless love. This will make you immortal in the hearts of millions as people are going to remember for your polite words and not by your status.

A photographer once clicked a photograph of ex-president of India, Dr. Kalam with a shawl placed on his shoulder. After the photo shoot was over, the photographer rudely took off the shawl and walked off. The President smiled. After being asked about his composed behaviour, he politely answered that maybe the photographer needed the shawl more than he did, and continued his work.

People with big positions come and go but it is only their humble nature that draws millions of people towards them. Their polite words filled to the brim with modesty and love melt the hearts of even the rudest amongst the crowd. By talking politely to all we can make an impact on others lives.

Know yourself

William Shakespeare
once said "The more we know about our SELF, the more we will be able to enjoy and appreciate life"
With my limited knowledge of your understanding about your knowledge of your SELF and your relationship with the creator, let me share with you in simple general understanding of how I see me, my SELF and my creator and its connection with Life.
To me SELF is made of 3 dimensions:-
1. BODY - Biological Dimension Of You.
2. MIND - Mental and INtellectual Dimension
3. SOUL - Source Of Universal Light
4.GOD - Universal Light of Almighty Cosmic Energy that Generates, Operates and Destroys.
5.LIFE - Love Invited For Ever
We are a spiritual being made from the source of universal light living in a physical body with a god given mind to live life with joy.
There is no black board in the sky, on which God has written our purpose, our mission in life. Our purpose is what we say it is. Our mission is the mission what we give ourselves. Our life will be what we create it as, and no one will stand in judgment of it, now or ever. Let us fill the blackboard of our life with whatever we WANT. If we have filled it in with the baggage from the past, wipe it clean. We have a clean slate and we can start over – right here, right now. Find our joy and live it!!!!!

Think and do which brings you joy, happiness, freedom and laughter. “If aren’t fun don’t do it.” If you do not know it, ASK, “what is my joy?” as you find it and commit yourself to it, to joy, law of attraction will pour an avalanche of joyful things, people, circumstances, events and opportunities into your life, all because you are radiating JOY.

Be HAPPY now, feel good now. Let us use our full mental and emotional potential. We can do anything, achieve anything.

The more we use the power of our subconscious within us, the more we will draw it to us, and reach a point where we won’t need to practice it anymore, because we will be the power, the perfection, the wisdom, the intelligence, the love, and the JOY

Brahmcharya

Acquirement of control over the senses has been the first and a very far-reaching principle of spiritual training. It is the first step and it goes very far. There are five sense organs-4e ear, the eye, the nose, the tongue and the skin. Hearing, sight, smell, taste and touch - these are the five sense-objects. In a sense, our life comprises only the life of the senses. Man derives pleasure from the senses and lives on.

One hears the sound, sees the form, smells the fragrance, relishes the taste and experiences contact. Apart from these, life does not seem to have any meaning. The question arises as to what is brahmcharya. There are many kinds of strange notions about it. Containment of the sense of touch alone has been accepted by some to be brahmcharya. However, brahmcharya in the true sense of the word is not mere restraining of the sense of touch, but control over all the five senses, further combined with the containment of doubt, and control over memory and thinking.

The disciplining of the mind and the senses constitutes brahmcharya. In another ancient and very comprehensive sense, brahmcharya means that which has acquired a foothold in Brahma, the eternal spirit - that is brahmcharya. Brahma also means 'knowledge; it means 'God', and it also means 'stay in a gurukul'. As a matter of fact, brahmchari or brahmcharya was initially related to 'staying in a gurukul. ‘He who lived in a gurukul, or who followed the routine prevalent there, was a brahmchari, and his conduct and living constituted brahmcharya. A special conduct was prescribed for the residents of the gurukul - control of the senses and of the mind. However, our concept of brahmcharya is mostly confined to the restraining of the sense of touch. But how is one to exercise such restraint? All the senses are linked with one- another.

It is not possible to exercise any control over one particular sense in isolation, disregarding the other senses. If you have no control over the tongue, or over the eye, you cannot have any control over the sense of touch. Provocations come to us through the sense organs. Each relish has its source of stimulation. When the enduring and the fleeting emotions relating to a sense are all active, it is not possible to control that sense. And, as mentioned before, all the senses are related. The two among these - the tongue and the skin are deeply interlinked. There is a profound relationship between brahmcharya and the sense of taste, the pleasure derived there from. From the point of view of physical science, the sense of taste and the sense of touch are interconnected rather intimately. If you can control the one, you also control the other.

No extra effort is required. In the absence of any control over the tongue, over the pleasure derived from taste, all talk of acquiring control over the sense of touch is pointless. Non-violence is connected with the body, but it is not the demand of the body. Truth, non-theft, renunciation are all related to thought and the brain. But brahmcharya alone is related both to the body and the mind. It is a physical as well as a mental requisite. According to an older theory, the very discharge of the semen marks a negation of brahmcharya. According to this theory, the semen need not lapse; it is sublimated; and that is what makes a brahmchari - an upward movement of the semen, not downward. It does not seem to make much sense to me. In the course of time, the meaning of certain words changes beyond recognition, and there is danger in accepting the conventional meaning. We are in many ways highly conventional. We accept every tradition beyond question. We do not want to experience the truth for ourselves. The desire to probe the depths, to arrive at the root of things, is scarce.

From the physiological point of view there is no nerve or duct through which the semen may go up. From the complex of sexual glands there is no path leading upward for the semen to ascend. The word 'urdhavrata' implied one who could elevate the vital life force. The vital electric current of life can go up as well as go down. This electricity can inform the entire physical organism. However, as far as semen is concerned, there is no path leading upward. Originally, the word 'virya' (translated here as semen) meant force, power. The confounding of three different words (shukra, virya, and retus) into one connotation that of semen has caused much confusion. Actually, they have different connotations.

It is said that the falling of a drop (meaning the discharge of semen) is death and its accumulation the source of life. The Hindi word bindu (meaning a drop) came to mean semen itself, and thus created a great deal of confusion. If mere semen-discharge meant death, then no man would be alive today. It does not make sense. Actually by bindu was meant the vital life force, the electricity of vital power. When the vital electricity of the brain oozes out, it results in death because the fundamental basis of life is the brain and the live-electricity contained within it. All over the body, cells die and new cells come into being.

The brain is the only part of the body where the cells, once destroyed, cannot be recreated. The brain is the greatest factor in ensuring our security, the brain and the vital power in it. It is necessary to understand that with the birth of the sexual urge, the brain is greatly excited. This very excitement has in it an element of danger. The more tranquil the brain is, the more potent a man becomes, and the more agitated or excited the brain is, the weaker he grows. It is on this score that brahmcharya is violated. Some people get worried because of semen discharge. According to them, a man suffering a night emission is no brahmchari, which sounds very strange. Some people are greatly perplexed. And yet here there is nothing to worry about.

If the discharge of semen takes place on account of carnal passion or excitement, it is one thing-it should not occur too often - but the semen is naturally forced out if the glands containing it are too full - this is not something to worry about. Undue worry is a waste of energy. As to the question of becoming a brahmchari, it is difficult to be completely celibate. The common people fulfil their sexual urge and life goes on. But, there are some who want to control this urge, and are able to do it. The only problem is that of excess. Too much sexual indulgence can prove to be dangerous in so far as it destroys a man's powers.

Law of Creation

Here it may be said that these laws as laws may be without end, but they must have had a beginning or end. Science is said to have proved that the sun total pf cosmic energy is always the same. Then, if there was a time when nothing existed where was all this manifested energy ?

Some say it was in a potential form of God. In that case God is sometimes potential and sometimes kinetic, which would make him mutable. Everything  mutable is a compound and everything compound must undergo that change which is called destruction. So God would die, which is absurd- Therefore, there never was a time when there was no creation.

If I may be allowed to use a simile creation and creator  are to lines, without beginning and without end, zoning parallel to each other.

God is the ever –active providence, by whose power systems after systems are being evolved out of chaos, made to run for a time, and again destroyed. This is what the Brahmin boy repeats everyday:

‘The Sun and the Moon, the Lord created like the Suns and the Moons of Previous cycles.’ And this agrees with modern Science.

Manage your Temper

Anger never lets you win.

Every time you lose your cool. You lose control and at times the cost could be quite high. So learn to manage your temper.

As a little kid growing up on a sheep farm a boy was bright, hard working boy, prone to losing his temper and getting angry. He would end up saying harsh words to his friends and family without often realising the impact of his angry outbursts.

Intent on mending his son’s way’s, the boy’s dad decided on aplan. He gave his son a sack of nails and told him that everytime he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the wooden fence at the back of their farm. The son agreed. The first day, he hammered 35 nails into the fence as the days passed, the number of nails hammered into the fence gradually decreased. It was quite a task going all the way to the back of the farm and hammering a nail. Young boy figured it was easier to just control his temper, and not get angry.

And then, one day, he did not lose his cool at all. A day of nails! Delighted, he told his father about it. And the father said that for every day that martin did not lose his temper, he should pull out a nail from the fence. The boy did as told, and some months later, all the nails in the fence had been removed. The boy was pleased. And so was his dad.

The father led young boy to the back of the farm and pointing to the wooden fence he said. “You have done well, my son and I am proud of you. But notice the holes left behind by the nails? They will never go away. The fence will never be the same again. It’s like that with our anger too. When we are angry, we say things that leave a scar. And no amount of apologising thereafter can ever remove those scars. Remember that !”

It’s a lesson boy has remembered all his life. And it’s a lesson we would all do well to take to heart too. Keep your cool. Don’t lose your temper. And you will see a significant improvement in your relationships. People will like you more, they will respect you a lot more-and you will find that hardly anybody gets angry with you. If you find yourself losing your cool often, maybe you should set yourself a punishment equivalent to hammering nails on the fence. Like the boy, you too might then find yourself controlling your temper a lot better. Go to remember that you can never really win when you get angry. You always lose-your temper, your cool and a whole lot else besides.

Saying sorry is like using one of those erasers on the top of pencil. It’s easy to use, it feels like you have erased what was written, but the marks remain on the sheet of paper forever. And in this era of instant messaging and on-the-go e-mails, it becomes even more important to watch your words. If you are upset and want to shoot off an angry e-mail or message, hold it ! Draft a mail perhaps- but leave it as a draft. Don’t hit the ‘send’ button whilst you are angry. Tell yourself that you will take a look at it the next morning, and only then send it. Chances are with a cooler head the next morning, you will realise the folly of sending out the angry email. And it does not matter that you are in the right, or that you think your anger is justified. If you lose your cool, remember you lose. Period.

Next time you are angry and want to say something, take a deep breath. Pause. And maybe say nothing at all.

NEVER GET ANGRY

Too many fouls in sport and you are out of the game for a short period. The same happens in real life, but we are not aware of it. It’s a great idea in sport.

Sin essentially means forgetfulness, or more specifically, to forget yourself, to forget who you truly are, a pure peaceful and spiritual being who occupies and animates a physical form. It is this forgetfulness that makes us commit what we call sinful action. If you are insulted by another person, and you become angry in response, the sin is the anger which you create not the insult. You are asleep to the truth that you just hurt yourself, and that you are the creator of your anger not the other person.

And now you have a recording in your consciousness that contains an image of the other surrounded by the energy of anger. You put it there, not them.

Next time you see them, up comes the anger again, and in that moment you are at your least effective, paralysed by self created anger, you are effectively out of the game until you cool down.

Interesting isn’t it. Never get angry, at anything, or anytime. It’s is a sin !
