Human Brain .. an antennae

Can thoughts floating in Ether be invoked by anybody! Yes, you can invoke all thoughts traveling on a particular wave length at a given moment of time. As per the Electronic Theory, for the transmitter and Receiver a Tank circuit is required. Which is formed by (L & C, R & C,) it is Cavity of Inductance and Capacitance, Resistance and Capacitor, like a Magnetron in Microwave. And this circuit can be formed in head portion.

If four persons in different corners of the World invoke same wave length of thought at a given time. Can they communicate between themselves through telepathy? Yes, provided their transmission power is developed to that capacity. For telepathic transmission broadcasting and receiving capability of brain must be adequately developed. You must have often observed that when two persons are invoking thoughts on the same wavelength. They get connected. If they dwell in thoughts of similar nature friendship is imminent. Else, both feel antagonistic towards each other for no reason or rhyme.

Some times it also happens when invoking thoughts of similar nature, the stronger of the two probes the mental prowess of the other (i.e. his brain). Result. The person with the lower intellect can feel that his mind is being probed by an outsider but as he has no remedy he keeps quiet. To avoid probing of our minds by highly developed ones. We must ourselves rise above slavish animal indulgence and develop our intellect. Remember working of TV or a VCR. Any good program which is being broadcast can be stored in the memory of the VCR. Likewise thoughts we think, would be of our future use, can be stored in our memory i.e. in the memory cells in our brain. Other thoughts not considered important pass by, and are forgotten as time passes.

To develop our memorizing power, we must develop our brain by use. Invoking positive thoughts all the time, results in overall development of our brain system. Everyone understands that the brain of a Human being can never be duplicated by Human Beings for it is a computer built by "God" and is foolproof. One gift "God" has bestowed on all Human Beings is his brain. The more efficiently you use it ... Automatically it upgrades. Better the grasp, quick is the enfoldment and higher planes of mind can we probe.

We establish contact with "God" on the highest plane of mind. Meditation is nothing but trying to Spiritually elevate to higher and higher planes of "Mind" thus leading to establishment of contact with "God", the Creator.

  • Fear of Death

Some people tell their family, that they didn't want extraordinary life support if something like a catastrophic stroke happened, yet still when such time comes, wants to be on the life support rather than die. They are terrified of death.

Why do so many people have a deep fear of death?

The fear of death comes from two beliefs:

    When we die, we disappear.
When we die, we will be punished for our sins. God is judgmental and we will end up in hell or purgatory for eternity.

    • If you could be sure that when you die, your consciousness goes right on living—that your soul essence cannot die—would you still be afraid of death?
    • If you knew that You—not your ego you but your true Self—was immortal, would you be afraid of death?
    • If you knew that you would see all your loved ones again, would you be afraid of death?
    • If you knew that the only judgment you would experience would be your own reliving of the choices you had made while in the body, would this scare you?
    • If you knew that you would be coming into unconditional love, and that this love would help you continue on your soul's journey, would this frighten you?

The problem is that we can't KNOW this in a left-brain scientific way. We can know it only in an intuitive way, a feeling way—remembering the truth of who we really are and what God is.

Our feelings are an inner guidance system, letting us know when we are thinking and believing in ways that are on track with what is true and right for us, and when we are off track. Thoughts such as “I'm worthless” make us feel bad because they are not true. The bad feeling is our Higher Self letting us know that we are off track in our thinking. These off-track thoughts come from our programmed mind—our ego wounded self—which is filled with false beliefs.

When you think the thought, “When I die, I will disappear”, this thought may create fear.
When you think the thought- “When I die, I will go to hell or purgatory. I will be punished for eternity for my sins,”

How do you feel? The fear is letting you know that the thought is not based on truth. When you think the thought, “When I die, I will gently leave my old or sick or hurt body. I will go home and see all loved ones, and I will continue learning on my soul's journey. I will be surrounded by unconditional love, and I will be able to learn from my mistakes,” how do you feel?

From a scientific point of view, neither of these views can be proved. You cannot prove that you will disappear or go to hell any more that you can prove that you will continue to exist and your soul will continue to learn and grow. But you can know on the FEELING level which feels right and good.

You can choose to believe whatever you want to believe. Why believe something that makes you feel terrified? Why not choose to believe in what makes you feel loved and safe?

Positive Energy

Around every person there is a field of emotional energy. Some people always look radiant, and everything in their life flourishes and grows. They have a positive energy field around them. Some people, on the other hand, always have a morose or tense air about them, and everything in their life seems to fade and die. They have a negative energy field around them. A positive field is created by positive emotions and a negative field draws sustenance from negative emotions.

Energy causes all beings to act in this world. The higher the level of energy, the greater would be their accomplishments. When we are tired, our energy level plummets and we do not feel like doing anything. When the field around us is negative with hurt, anger, possessiveness, greed, jealousy, fear and abhorrence, we are less able to act with speed and efficiency. These emotions suck the energy and life-force out of us. All beings have within them the all-pervading life-force, the same one that creates and sustains life in the universe.

‘We draw energy from the wind or air and sunlight. We draw energy from water, earth (things grown on the earth). We also draw energy from the divine forces of the universe, which pour into us through the chakras.

The sun pours heat, light and vitality, which greatly improves health and wellbeing. That is why people feel depressed during the winter especially in the far north, like Scandinavian countries and the Arctic

A place can have a positive or negative field. You can feel it when you enter a temple, Gurudwara, Masjid or church where regular services are performed. That is why people go to places of pilgrimage like Tirupathi, Dharamsthala, Vaishno Devi, Badrinath, Amarnath. The feeling of prayerful sacredness envelopes all those who go to that space.

Your body is a car given to you by God to go places, if you let it collapse in to a junk, then you have a problem. Most people look after their cars better than their own body. But don’t forget that just like your car, your body needs regular checkups too. Make sure all small aches and pains are taken care of. Do something to maintain your health, learn to breathe properly, exercise regularly, walking, and yoga. It is important to follow a healthy schedule. Everyone should learn to meditate; it takes you to a quiet place in your mind. To build a healthy mind, it is necessary to learn to breathe properly, or some form of pranayama. Be connected to whatever is your conception of a higher power; be in touch with that everyday, it will always take care of you.

When you are tired, get some good sleep and rest. If you are feeling lonely, try to go out and meet friends who make you happy. If you are on a treadmill and tired, don’t go overboard. Take regular physical breaks through the day. Switch off for 15 minutes for 3-4 times in a day. Don’t let the body burn out. It is also very important to get at least 7-8 hrs of sleep, it can add years to your life.

As far as weight is concerned, don’t get obsessed with your weight. One should not have unrealistic expectations. At 50, you cannot expect to look like you did in your 20s. Do not get swayed by media and film stars having six pacs…... Learn to accept and love yourself. Consult your doctor for your appropriate weight. Don’t starve yourself, eat a balanced diet which contains all the vitamins and minerals your body needs. We need to put high quality fuel into our body to let it function without breakdown. Avoid junk food which causes indigestion and other health related problems.

Happiness is Greatest gift to Life

Happiness is living with a sense of fulfillment and peace. It is a belief in the fundamental goodness of people, in the value of compassion, a policy of kindness, and a sense of unity among all living beings. ‘Happy’ is a word derived from ‘happ’ meaning luck or chance.

All beings seek happiness and act to avoid pain. Everyone is looking for something better. We can train the mind to be happy—it is an achievable goal. Most psychiatrists see people in distress and conclude that the most one can hope for is the transformation of despair into common unhappiness.

The Indian tradition shows us that positive radiant happiness is our birthright. Happiness quotient (HQ) is a concept that rates approximately, the measure of happiness each person has achieved in his life.

Whatever the external circumstances may be, the individual is responsible for his inner state. Events are not under our control, but our perceptions and reactions to them are. I believe that it is possible to realise one’s full potential for happiness by training the mind, body and soul to dwell in that state.

Overcome Failure with Happiness

Whatever is the failure don’t ignore self care. Take care of your mind and give yourself happiness breaks. If going to the temple gives you courage then go to the temple. Our mind is like a garden in which failure represents rocks and stones, thorns and scorpions – they represent anger, jealousy, greed or disgust. All these creep into the garden, if you allow them to. What you need to do is plant flowers of love and fountains of compassion. You can stop feeling sad by just calling up someone and telling them what you love about them, helping the needy, anything that adds to the happiness of others increases your happiness. The rainbows of courage are bound to fill you with joy. Gandhiji took ordinary people and changed them into matchless warriors to fight for the right cause. They say charity begins at home and you could start by cleaning up your street or fighting against injustice.

In the current work lifestyle, companies should have the first laugh and last laugh, so that people start their day at work on a happy note and end it on one, too. Learn basic meditation, 15-20 mints of silence and looking within will give you inner peace. Looking at the sunrise, sunset, watching the rain fall, so many cosmic wonders add happiness to your life. Whatever happens, life goes on. The cosmos unrolls its wonders. We are but atoms in the great dance of the Universe. Let us celebrate the gift of life by forgetting the miniscule self.

Make sure you give frequent affirmations to all the people you care about. Tell them what you like about them. Do not focus on the negatives. A major part of our lives is wasted in finding fault with people and finding shortcomings in them. This leads to nothing but bad relationships. Stop acting like the world’s police man. You should spend time in nurturing qualities you like about your loved ones.

As far as possible, look at all the relationships in your life in the framework of lifetime relationships by giving more affirmations. Don’t be a heat seeking missile which destroys the people around you.

You need to be aware that no one can keep you happy, only you can keep yourself happy. Everyone has a duty to keep themselves happy, which can complete your daily tasks such as taking care of your health, eating good food, reading good books and listening to music. If you are happy, your surroundings flower too with happiness. Use your five senses to make yourself happy and joyous. We usually find others telling us, ‘Marry the right man and he will make you happy’. But that’s a wrong concept. Only you can make yourself happy. Start with simple things like visiting a beauty salon, meeting a good friend, watching a happy movie, looking at the sunset….

“You cannot change your family, your work or the events of your life. You can't even change yourself too much". 'Happy' is a word derived from 'happ' meaning luck or chance. Most of us believe that happiness is a mysterious feeling that comes without reason, leaving as inexplicably as it arrived. Happiness is, in fact, living with a sense of fulfillment and peace. It is a belief in the fundamental goodness of people, in the value of compassion, a policy of kindness, and a sense of unity among all living beings. All beings seek happiness and act to avoid pain. Everyone is looking for something better. Happiness can be achieved by a proactive attitude to improving the happiness quotient. We can train the mind to be happy—it is an achievable goal. Most psychiatrists see people in distress and conclude that the most one can hope for is the transformation of despair into common unhappiness. The Indian tradition shows us that positive radiant in the happiness quotient concept happiness is our birthright. The panel discussion focused on the happiness quotient and illustrated how to achieve it.

The Happiness Quotient (HQ) is a concept that rates approximately, the measure of happiness each person has achieved in his life. This program sought to provides a blueprint to increase one's HQ. It started by describing the creation of a positive mind space, one that nurtures the positive emotions that increases happiness. It also discussed the impact of negative fields and how to avoid them.

‘Be a loving participant in your life. Enjoy the now of it. Don’t be a dreamer or a spectator. A happy life is the result of diving deep and becoming engaged and involved.’

(Sit with eyes closed and silently affirm)

• I live by my own ethical standards.
• I do what I preach.
• I help all and harm none.
• Peace and goodwill surround me.
• I have a safe and happy home.
• I enjoy unconditional love.
• The food I eat and the water I drink here nourish me.
• God blesses us and keeps our children safe.
• This home is a sanctuary and a refuge.
• All conflicts can be solved.
“Between Stimulus and Response, we have the freedom to response”

It was a sport stadium. Eight children were standing on the track to participate in a running event.

Ready! Steady!!! Bang!!!!

With the sound of toy pistol, all eight girls started running. Hardly had they covered ten to fifteen steps, when one of the smaller girls slipped and fell down. Due to bruises and pain she started crying.

When the other seven girls heard the little girl cry they stopped running, stood for a while and turned back. Seeing the girl on the track they all ran to help.

One of them bent down, picked her up and kissed her gently, and enquired as to how she was…….

They then lifted the fallen girl pacifying her. Two of them held her firmly while all seven joined hands together and walked together towards the winning post.

There was pin drop silence at the spectator’s stand. Officials were shocked.
Slow claps multiplied to thousands as the spectators stood up in appreciation. Many eyes were with tears.

And perhaps even God’s !

YES !! This happened in Hyderabad, recently ! The sport was conducted by National Institute of Mental health. All these special girls had came to participate this event. They were spastic children. YES, they were mentally challenged.

What did they teach the WORLD ? ? ? ?

Teamwork ?????
Humanity ???????????
Equality ????????????????

No……..They taught…………Successful people help others who are slow in learning…..so that they are not left behind ! This is really a great message……Spread it !

We never do this because we have Brains !!!!!!!!!!!!

Heaven and Hell

Once a group of people wanted to know what makes for hell and what makes heaven. Where all suffer, it is called hell and where all enjoy it is called heaven. So the committee of the above persons wanting to know how hell is made first went to hell where all people were suffering. What they saw in hell surprised them very much because hell looked a very rich place where every enjoyable object was available in plenty. Why any one should suffer here, they wondered.

As it was the lunch time in hell, all denizens of hell were in the dining hall and the committee went to investigate whether there was any food problem. Again what met their eyes surprised them beyond words because the dining table was full with a variety of delicacies in abundance and no one need starve for lack of food. Yet the most puzzling thing of all was the fact that all the hell-dwellers who were gathered there looked famished, hungry and angry. They were quarrelling and shouting at one another blaming one another in abuse language.

The members of the investigation committee closely scrutinized the people who were thus quarrelling and fighting. They found that the persons in hell had no elbow joints in their arms because of which they were unable to bend their hands and feed themselves though food was plenty available. So all of them starved and had no joy.

The committee felt that it was cruel joke to play upon people. Why give them plenty of food if it was not meant to feed them?

They wished to see how things were in heaven and went there in time to see the heavenly beings at lunch. The heaven was exactly like hell... looked very rich with all enjoyable things of life. As they approached the dining hall they could hear the loud cries of satisfaction and joy emanating from the hall. The committee members hastened to the hall to witness such an exuberance of joy. The dining table was full with delicacies just as in hell. The people looked happy, well-fed and contented and they were still eating. Now the committee members watched carefully how their arms were. Here too the arms of the denizens were without elbow joints. They too could not bend their forearms to feed themselves. Still they were not unhappy. They understood that the plenty of food in front of them was not given to them to feed themselves but was meant for serving others. So they all collected enough food from the table and fed the others. When each one fed the others, all of them got plenty to eat and nobody famished. All were happy and it became heaven. In the other place they did not know that the hands were given to serve others. When they tried to serve themselves they could not, and it became hell.
Happiness

Happiness is a gift, not a commodity. We all have a choice to make every moment, through our senses, our thoughts and our actions. We can choose what we want to see, hear, touch, taste and smell, think, feel and do. Most of the time, we are responsible for our decisions—for our happiness and unhappiness. We can decide how we want to feel even in the worst possible situations. To a jealous mind, an innocent smile is proof of adultery; a prisoner can choose to keep the flame of freedom alive and maintain a cheerful disposition. Events or people around us are not under our control. But our reactions, our responses to them are. Respond with love and peace. The ecology and geography of your inner mind space is in your hands. Study how to deal with each of your five senses to be happy. Focus on happiness, not the lack of it. Focusing on our unhappiness only helps to provide more power and attention to the negative person, event or object that causes it. Focus on cultivating happy people and avoid toxic people. Build protective walls against toxic events that threaten your tranquility. Happiness is everyone’s responsibility.

At each stage of life, it is human nature to feel that the things would be better at the next stage. One would tend to think that he will be happy after getting a good job and a healthy pay packet. At some point the feeling of frustration creeps in and he would feel that he would be happy once he gets married and have children. This search for happiness continues as he passes through each stage. The truth is there is no better time to be happy than right now. Life is full of challenges. It is better to admit as much and decide to be happy in spite of it all. There is no road to happiness. Happiness is the road.

To quote the words of Greek Philosopher, Democritus, “Happiness resides not in possessions and not in gold.” Happiness of life is made of minute fractions like a simple smile, a helping hand, a heartfelt compliment and countless other infinitesimals of pleasurable thought and genial feeling. The sad part is in our pursuit of happiness we fail to recognize this magnificent feeling that is just there right at the end of our nose.

Happiness is, in fact, living with a sense of fulfillment and peace. It is a belief in the fundamental goodness of people, in the value of compassion, a policy of kindness, and a sense of unity among all living beings.

Many of us spend most of our time at work. If we do not enjoy our work, if we feel overwhelmed by it, it will surely damage us. The constant pressure of negative emotions causes inescapable damage to our arteries and other delicate tissues. It also slows down the body’s capacity to repair this damage.

To work at something you love, to be ‘self-actualized’ in Maslow’s terms, is to protect yourself against dying young. As Khalil Gibran wrote, ‘What is it to work with love?... It is to weave the cloth from the strings of your heart, as though your beloved were to wear it.’
Politics can make your blood boil with suppressed rage and unexpressed anxiety. ‘Fast tracking,’ being a corporate star, will extract the inevitable price of damage to arteries if you are not ‘mindful’, if you are not aware of the impact of everything you do on your system.

The latest corporate buzz is to make people happy at workspace - to liberate the butterflies, turn on the fountain of love and to help find joy in the small things in life. "In workspace, people should have two real daily laughs - the first laugh and the last laugh’

"Companies were waking up to the need to make their workers happy. At ICICI Bank, in one of its Mumbai branches, allows its workers to bring their kids to the workplace on Saturdays. The children have fun for a couple of hours while their parents work. And then they take off directly from the office for the weekend," people spend two-thirds of their working hours in office and happy employees can do double the work compared to their unhappy colleagues. Nowadays more and more women were working from home after they have babies.

Preventing stress is a negative way of looking at life; "instead, fill your mind with your garden of poetic emotions like laughter, wonder, love and compassion to counter lust, anger, obsession, greed, jealousy, fear and repulsion.”

The monsters of anger, greed and jealousy, shroud the gardens of the mind, poisoning the blood and turning it into a desolate wasteland of disease. Today, so much of our lives are spent in the office. The corporate jungle takes an unimaginable toll on the heart. Nature’s ultimate survival mechanism of fight or flight becomes a chronic response. This is because of the endless deadlines, the deadly competitiveness and the need for a constant state of high alert. One crisis leads to another. The body is constantly awash with the fight and flight response, resulting from a threat to survival.

Such a response is like using an atom bomb to kill an ant —totally inappropriate. But awareness is absent and the body responds as though to annihilation, moment to moment. Due to the modern urge to change jobs rapidly, many executives find themselves in threatening environments surrounded by potential enemies. They have had no time to develop friends or trusted supports. Every day they walk into the modern equivalent of a jungle infested with wild animals and danger. Family support systems are far away. Nuclear families build up explosive pressure due to a revolution of rising expectations, fuelled by the media.
