The Human Body Compared to a Mansion

One little point needs to be stressed here. The body is like a mansion. No matter how wonderful a mansion may be, even if it be made of marble and set with jewels, no one will be able to live in that mansion unless it has a kitchen and a bathroom and a toilet. Because, whatever man takes in, part of its goes to form his mind, part of it goes to form his body, and the remaining waste has to be eliminated. And waste is always foul-smelling. The impurities of the body are always foul-smelling. In the outer mansion they have to have a toilet, they have to have a kitchen. If there be no kitchen, no one can live there. You may construct any type of palace, but if there is no food, no lunch, no breakfast, no afternoon tea—even for a day—no one will live there.

But then, when a kitchen is there, you have to provide drainage also. Kitchen means garbage, left-over food, vegetable cuttings, fruit peels and all that. If all this is kept, it will begin to rot and so you have to have a garbage disposal arrangement. You have to have drainage and sewerage. In the absence of all these arrangements, it will not be possible to live in that mansion. Likewise, in the human body, in this mansion of nine gates, in this Navadvara Kuti नवद्वार कुटी , where you have an entrance way and windows for light and air and knowledge, for the sake of drainage and garbage disposal, God has provided two holes.

Their real importance is that of drainage. They are only drains. This is the only right understanding of the matter. No doubt, the occasional function of reproduction is there, but to over-exaggerate that aspect is foolish. It betrays a lack of knowledge. Because, from birth until death, day after day, thirty days in a month, and three hundred and sixty-five days in the year, the constant function that these exit gates have to fulfill is drainage. And the occasional function that they have to fulfill is in cooperating with Brahma, but that is only some rare occasional function and that also, only in a very short period of one’s life. In the first Ashrama of Brahmacharya, it has no place; in the third Ashrama of Vanaprastha, it has no place; and in the fourth Ashrama of Sannyasa, it has no place. Out of the whole life, it is only in one Ashrama that that particular function of it is exercised. Otherwise, the main function of these outlets is only drainage of impurities.

If you change your Drishtikona दृष्टीकोन and understand the body in the right perspective, then a great deal of your problem will be solved. It is taking a wrong view and giving a wrong emphasis which makes one to get into all sorts of difficulties. Secondly, take a look at it from the Vedantic point of view. The Adesha आदेश or Sandesha सन्देश of Vedanta, the primary declaration of Vedanta, is that you are not this body, but that you are the Ajara Amara Avinashi Atma अजर अमर अविनाशी आत्मा . Then, if you are not to identify yourself with your entire body, how can you identify yourself with one aspect of it? So, if your faith in Vedanta is Pucca पक्का, is firm and genuine, if you are true to your Vedanta, then, you have your solution in your own hand.

God the Creator and Man Gods

Normal Human Beings who in this Kali Yuga the metal age of today find it difficult to live a Life full of moral and principles ... find the messages of Bhagavad Gita and Upanishads as mere texts to be read and devoured only by the 'so called’ learned priests of the Society. Today .. to achieve the status of a Swami Vivekananda would be enough ... What to say of attaining the status of a man Gods like Mahavir, Jesus Christ, Buddha or Prophet Mohammed.

All are after gaining material riches than earning "Punya" which alone is the "balance and net" carried forward to next Life. "How to make an ordinary mortal understand this truth", the Essence of all Sacred texts!

"Every God-realized soul must never think that "He is that". "He is that" only in the "Nirvikalpa Samadhi" stage & also the stage when he has imparted "Brahma-Jnana" to all and is leaving this body. At this stage also he may or not be considered equivalent to a "Human-God", for the simple reason that "As many Human Beings ... so many are the paths towards God, the Creator {applicable to Human Beings alone and not other jivas like insects, plants and animals ... for Mukti (liberation) by an "Atman" is only possible through the form of a Human Being}.

The invocation of messages from Mind (through Shruti) is done by realized Souls depending on their intellect and as all can never be at the same level at the same time ... like the voice invoked by an imported audio player can never match with the voice invoked by a locally assembled unit! In ‘He is That’ - ‘That’ denotes the status of a "man-God" (those powerful Human Beings who are true servants and representatives of God) and never "God-the creator". All individual Atmans shall remain individual until full purification (i.e. liberation of Atmans from further manifestation takes place & Atman is not further required to take a body). All collective purified Atmans are known as "God-the creator" i.e. the collective power of all purified "Atmans" is the power of "God" the creator. You a "purified Atman" are only a brick in the abode of "God-the creator".

When "Big Bang" occurs the abode of creator disintegrates. Due to the inherent power of evolution present in every atman soul it continues to take a body after body until it finally liberates. A time comes when all Atmans get purified & further manifestations cease to take place. Need for further manifestations gone ... the Cosmos collapses, to again become a concentrated mass not bigger than a cm and half in diameter. This concentrated mass re-explodes culminating in a Big Bang i.e. the birth of a new Kalpa, a new Cosmos all over again. This theory (i.e. the cycle of Kalpa) ... the origination and Pralaya shall go on for ever.

You, a Human Being, are the highest in the process of Evolution, a step below "liberation from further manifestation". Realize this simple truth and thy shall be the richest of all for you now possess ... not Gold and Diamonds but "Brahma Jnana" ... the most potent and powerful possession of any jiva. You now have the eternal right to Forgive one and all ... your ‘Ego’ shall henceforth not clash for you have realized that riches lie not in accumulation of material wealth but gaining ‘Punya Karma". Forgive one and all without exception.. however big the crime committed or may seem to appear.

Never let "corrupt thoughts" take possession of you. The "field of thoughts" wherein germinates every thought is your only possession which differentiates one from all other types of living beings on planet Earth and which you have to cultivate as a farmer cultivates a barren plot of land. When you take birth on Mother Earth, you are unaware of the process of cultivation and even do not know that you own a "field" which you alone shall cultivate in future. In childhood, the Parents cultivate this field for you.

Good Parents give you a positive outlook of Life and the child grows up with a Sunny exposition, in a serene atmosphere looking ahead to a Life full of Virtues and Morals ... Not so Educated ones (Educated not by degrees earned in Universities) impart a rather negative outlook of Life ... Resulting in the child sometimes being brought up in a neglected atmosphere feeling deprived as the most down trodden inhabitant of the Society.

Lucky are those who take possession of their fields early in Life and cultivate it according to their liking. Such children make a mark in the Society for they are inherently aware of the fundamental Truths .. those which are to be followed by all ... without exception. The Eternal principles which are explained in Sacred texts of all Religions of the World ... Which can never be belittled nor condemned by any. These Truths act as the light posts which shine our fields day and night provided we have full Faith in them.

We go to Temples, Mosques and Churches ... why? What necessitates us to seek blessings from God now and then! Why do we at all want to recharge our moral batteries! Is it us, a Human Being or our "Atman" within which goes to such Religious places to communicate with the ‘mighty Lord’, the Omnipotent Creator of the Universe to seek his blessings so that We may in our Worldly pursuits advance ahead without hurdles! You may be a king or a labourer - all go to his abode irrespective of the family or caste one may belong to. Does this not bring to your mind ... ‘Atman’ within all is essentially of the same nature. Where lays the distinction? It is not God, the creator who distinguishes or discriminates but the ‘Ego-minded’ Human Beings who have set different standards for different beings.

Can you enter an Ashram without being intercepted unless you are a thief or a friend or an acquainted! Is it not easier to go to the house of God (there are no timings for going to a temple, mosque or a church) on Mother Earth than the Ashrams and Math's (places for Spiritual minded people to stay) of the so called Spiritual leaders of the Society. They desire the society to seek appointment with them ... Longer the Que., bigger shall be the fame in which floats their bloated ego.

You may expect pardon from ‘God, the creator’ by praying with a humble heart and asking God in true earnestness to be Forgiven for deeds committed knowingly or unknowingly. Can you expect justice from a Court whose hands are bound by the law books and the advocacy of a corrupt advocate! One who intuitively feels that injustice is being imposed on an innocent one due to non-availability of documented evidence and proofs or due to false evidence by the vested interests but, fails to render the right judgment for, he fears the falling of the ax of those higher and mightier than him.

We must never ever loose our trust in the system of God ... If we desire to live a happy and healthy Life!

One Paragraph that explains Life- Arthur Ashe, The legendary Wimbledon player was dying of AIDS which he got due to infected blood he received during a heart surgery in 1983.

From world over, he received letters from his fans, one of which conveyed : “Why does GOD have to select you for such a bad disease”.?

To this Aurthur replied:

“The World over—50 Million children start playing Tennis, 5 Million learn to Play Tennis. 500,000 learn professional Tennis, 50,000 come to the circuit, 5000 reach the Grand Slam, 50 reaches Wimbledon, 4 to Semi-Final, Two to the finals.

And to-day in pain I should not be asking GOD ‘Why me?’

Brahmaand Universe Cosmos

Brahmaand: brahmand stands for the total Creation existing ... perceptible by our senses, science and beyond all comprehension up to the last stretches of entity covered by evolution.

To envision the vast area covered by total Cosmos, we have to start from the level of a Human Being. human beings imagine and live within a notion that earth is the end of all. Comparing the planet Earth with the size of Cosmos we ultimately realize the absolute truth ... planet earth forms part of a cluster of nine planets revolving around Sun, a small star. Millions of stars comprise a galaxy. Millions of Galaxies form one universe and thousands of universes constitute the entire structure the Brahmaand (the Cosmos)

Relatively insignificant but the ability to achieve the status of man god ... such is the capability inherent in all Human Beings. One may or may not be able to achieve the ultimate goal in one Life span of 70 - 80 years is but a matter of speculation and entirely dependent upon the resultant Karma of a being.

Brahmaand is considered to be without a boundary ... hence the saying by god realized Souls that the Ephemeral World is but a thought of God. All is Maya (ignorance). It is the ego within every being owing to which a Jivatma (soul + body) starts giving weightage to the physical part of the self. Understand the Cosmic truth and all would become clear.

Relatively speaking, Human Being is but a speck of dust in the vast Cosmos yet most powerful. Why not scan the latent powers and realized self within this Life!!

God

God is that subtle truth of life in absence of which existence of life on Earth was not possible. Reaching God is reaching the end of cosmic journey! One can always feel the presence of God but having reached stage of enlightenment it is only enlightened beings that come face-to-face with God in their lifetime!

God is not an entity as a human being. It is a source of power... such colossal power that Bhagavad-Gita, the sacred doctrine put forward by Lord Krishna gives the Definition of God as, "the sum total of all the purified souls atmans in the cosmos at any given point of time" and this reduces to a paltry half the size of a thumb. Yes, the size of God is half the size of a thumb at the beginning of every Cosmos.

Meaning that when the dissolution of cosmos finally occurs... the whole Cosmos reduces to half the size of a thumb and this is what we call God Almighty! This massive colossal power in its pristine glorious form unable to retain itself for long explodes with a Big Bang giving rise to the birth of a new Cosmos... a new journey!

Right from the first journey as an amoeba by our soul atman within... and to the last 84 Lakh manifestation... the journey of the soul exists for God Almighty is there. The existence of the soul atman itself confirms the existence of god Almighty. Our soul atman being a miniscule form of God Almighty... one can continue living as an atheist (a non believer of God) but inherently every atheist believes in the existence of a mighty power that one considers above all. This mighty power can be the shape of a colossal energy source but atheists never considers it to be God Almighty... one who created the creation!

Whatever be our belief... the existence of god Almighty can never be negated. As per Bhagavad-Gita... the sum total of all purified atmans souls in the cosmos is what we call God Almighty. When every soul atman is connected to the mighty soul God Almighty... the question of non existence of god Almighty does not arise!
We may believe in existence of god as an entity or otherwise... the fact remains that God Almighty is of the form of colossal energy... and it can never have a form! In Hinduism the believers in the Sakaar form (having a form) of God are in the wrong. God does not have a form. God is always Nirakaar in form (formless). It is only when perceived from the senses point of view, "it sometimes appears to a devotee of God that God has a form and is Sakaar in nature. But the truth is exactly opposite. The intelligence of every human being is limited by his senses. It is only when the true seeker of spirituality steps beyond the domain of physical senses that the true existence of god in the Cosmos can be visualized.

Only those who having transgressed the physical senses and the mind, reach the level of Nirvikalpa Samadhi and are able to visualize truly the existence of God Almighty. Right from amoeba to the level of a human being... it is not within the powers of one to visualize the Nirakaar form of God. To reach that level one has to transgress the physical senses and the mind. God on the whole is the full puzzle and every individual soul atman being individual parts of the large puzzle. As and when an individual soul atman reaches stage of enlightenment and finally salvation... this particular piece of puzzle comes back to join the main puzzle. It is only when the dissolution of cosmos occurs that all pieces of the puzzle reach their 84 Lakh manifestation in order to complete the puzzle.

Reaching back to the source has been termed as reaching the kingdom of heaven in Christianity. In Hinduism one reaches the level of Vaikuntha... the abode of God! Right from the first manifestation as an amoeba and to the last as a human being... the only purpose of the soul atman within is to purify itself and come back to its original pristine pure form. Only then the soul atman shall reach the stage of Vaikuntha (abode of God in Hinduism). The total cosmic journey of 84 Lakh manifestations is intended for that. A total travel of 9 carore 64 Lakh earthly years... a long journey indeed!
To believe or not to believe in existence of God carries no meaning for the soul atman within a body. The goal of every soul atman always being reaching its pristine pure form at the earliest! This is possible when the form of a human being reaches its highest manifest stage... the stage of the enlightened one and finally the end goal of life... gaining Salvation Moksha in Hinduism!

Why God created the Cosmos in the first place. Bhagavad Gita... the sacred doctrine put forward by Lord Krishna in the battlefield of Kurushetra prohibits the answer of this question. It is not within the powers of a human being to rightly assess the cause for God to have created the Cosmos itself! Why indulge in matters beyond the realm of the physical senses and the mind? We need to understand that having transgressed the domain of the five senses and the mind... everything becomes crystal clear to every serious seeker of spirituality as to why God created the whole Cosmos. Down further it is not only difficult nay impossible for one to decipher as to why God created the Cosmos in the first place.
The total journey of 84 Lakh manifestations is regulated by doctrine of karma. Bhagavad-Gita the sacred doctrine put forward by Lord Krishna also emphasizes upon the merit of doing ones karma. In the present Kali Yuga... prime importance has been attached to the doctrine of karma. Swami Vivekananda also emphasized upon doing the right karma all the time. It is only karma and karma alone which shall shorten the journey of soul atman within us. Performance of the Punya karma expedites the journey of the soul atman within the body. Negative karma only enhances the journey by the soul atman within.

It is only when our soul atman has been purified of all the dross contained within that it becomes free to go to the kingdom of God (Vaikuntha in Hinduism). As we remove the impurities within the ore to separate metal from it... likewise the dross within the soul atman is required to be removed by performing of the right karma by the body. Punya karma enhances the journey and negative karma delays it.
It is purely dependent upon every soul atman nay every individual body for that matter to expedite or not to expedite the journey. Punya karma leads to enhancing the journey for the soul atman within. Indulgence in negative karma leads to prolonging the journey! In the present Kali Yuga it is utmost essential for a serious seeker of spirituality to practice yoga meditation in a manner that the dross within the soul atman gets reduced. Only then one can hope to reach the end of the journey... gain enlightenment and finally salvation (moksha in Hinduism... Nirvana in Buddhism)!

From the first manifestation, the stage of an amoeba and to the last manifestation, the stage of a human being, God always acts as a Dhrista onlooker! It never interferes in the creation of his. All is dependent upon the doctrine of karma. As we perform so shall we get... nothing less or more! It is only the doctrine of karma which gets us through this Samsara (worldly life on Earth).

Ever since the beginning of time God has always remained a Dhrista onlooker... right from the stage of the Big Bang and to the last stage of every Cosmos... the dissolution itself, the role of God has never been of a Karta (doer)! Every Jiva (living being) for that matter lives by doctrine of karma and governs itself. To summarize in a nutshell... the existence of god on Mother Earth can never be denied! Every soul atman within the body is a miniscule form of God Almighty. The moment it gains pristine purity... it reaches stage of enlightenment and finally salvation... the end of the journey!

The soul / Atma having a power and speed of 16 Sun light, but it is covered by the Karma. If the karmas are nullified then you attain the Moksha. You do the good deed or bad deed you are tied with golden rope or Metal rope. You are tied to these worldly affairs. To nullify the Karams one has to take first step of meditation, to meditate you require the guidance of a Guru. It is said that

Guru Gobind dou khadey kaake laagun pao
Balihaari guru aapne Gobind dio milaay

Gods and Goddesses.

This world is full of Gods & Goddesses. It is difficult to know whom to worship? Can a person be a god?

No doubt ... you are a potential source of energy ... a representative of mother Goddess ... but you fail to remember that a woman only gives birth to a child ... it can never create a child ... none on earth a man or a woman can never create anything. We cannot even create a pebble out of nothing ... what to say of creating a child.

A very interesting episode occurred in the times of Mira Bai- Mira Bai wanted to go to a temple for Prayers ... the head priest of the temple objected to it. For him women were only meant for taking care of children and the household affairs ... reading of the sacred Scriptures ... gaining Spiritual knowledge was the domain of men. In spite of repeated reminders by Mira Bai ... the head priest did not budge.

Mira Bai ultimately sent a small chit to the head priest. Immediately thereafter the head priest was at the feet of Mira Bai. He profusely apologized for his mistake. What was it that Mira Bai had written in the chit? Mira Bai had only written that there is only one man ... one Karta (Purusha) in whole Cosmos ... and he is God Almighty ... rest are all ladies.

The priest understood the underlying meaning and henceforth all ladies were permitted inside the temple. It is only God Almighty who can create and dissolute anything. We as Human Beings are only required to perform our Karma, and nothing beyond that.

A very wise question indeed- whom to worship in the vast expanse of gods and goddesses ... it is said that there are above 90 Caror God and goddesses in Hindu mythology. If we look at the affairs of God ... we find there were only one Lord Krishna, one Buddha, one Mahavira, one Jesus Christ and one Prophet Mohammed. Why only one? For the simple reason that if there were 50 Mahaviras at a time then it was not possible for the common man to know whom to worship!

In every era ... in every century ... there cannot be more than two god realized souls at a time ... it is just not possible ... it will simply confuse the humanity ... God desires every human being to emancipate after a long journey of 84 Lakh manifestations (a total cosmic life cycle of 96 Caror 40 Lakh years for the Atman, the soul within). A long journey indeed!

Even before Lord Krishna was born ... there existed Vedas ... and even before the Vedas there existed Dharma. It is Dharma which has existed since times immemorial ... from the beginning of time when the humanity gained its footing. Dharma inherently guides one on the right path ... it is the force of our atman the soul within which is always existent in us.

One truly cannot survive without Dharma ... we can say we are an atheist (non believer of God) ... some can say they do not believe in any Religion as they are so confusing ... yet people continue to survive ... it is the power of Dharma within which guides us on our cosmic journey.

When the humanity started ... the Lipi (alphabets) had not yet evolved ... everything was passed on from one generation to another by the word of mouth ... Veda ... the spoken word! All the Mantras and every hymn was mentally learnt by heart and passed on from the guru to a Shishya. Eventually when this Shishya became a Guru he passed on the knowledge of the Vedas to his shishyas. It was only in the second century when the Lipi was developed that the Vedas were reduced to writing.

Lord Krishna came about 3600 years before ... at that time four Vedas were prevalent among the society ... Lord Krishna could see that it was very difficult even for a experienced Spiritual master to fathom the depths of all four Vedas in a lifetime. Whatever was contained in all the four Vedas - the Rig Veda, Sama Veda, Yajur Veda and Atharva Veda was consolidated and reproduced by Lord Krishna in form of Bhagavad Gita.

Bhagavad Gita contains everything that is contained in all the four Vedas excluding those Rituals, which are not necessary to be performed today. Whatever is worth knowing in the sacred Scriptures of all Religions of the world is contained in Bhagavad Gita. This one simple document contains the total essence of the cosmos. Beyond this document even God Almighty has nothing more to say.

Amongst all the gods and goddesses ... we are only required to assimilate the teachings of Bhagavad Gita. The knower of Bhagavad Gita becomes the knower of Brahman ... one reaches the 84 Lakh manifestations the moment one realizes the absolute truth. In all sincerity it can be explicitly said that we need to follow Bhagavad Gita ... if we desire to fathom the depths of the Spiritual knowledge.

Every human being can become a living God ... a man God like Buddha, Mahavira, Jesus Christ, Prophet Mohammed, Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana only after one gains Self Realization. Every godly figure becomes liberated from the cycle of birth and death forever. No further manifestations ... we pray to these man gods and invoke their blessings.

A normal human being even though has an Atman within cannot be termed as God ... it is only after we burn out our Karma ... remove the dross from within ... and our atman the soul within comes back to its pristine pure form ... can we say that so-and-so has Realized God ... reached the 84 Lakh manifestation ... the last in the stage of emancipation. It is our atman the soul within that has taken this body and not vice versa ... it is our atman the soul within which wants to liberate forever from the cycle of various manifestations.

God Almighty and all atmans / souls in the Cosmos are of the same nature. If a grain of wheat is an Atman than the whole mound of grain is Parmatman. Both are pure forms of energy and so potential that a normal human being cannot even visualize the structure of an Atman or Parmatman.

If I agree with you that you are a power ... then can you produce something out of nothing ... is it within you that you can create something from nothing ... it simply is not possible ... and when this is not possible how you can be a power. The body of a human being is powerless ... the moment our atman the soul within leaves the body ... it becomes dead! To become all-powerful we need to Realize God ... we need to come back to our pristine pure form ... we need to become a living Atman.

Every human being is the highest manifestation on Earth ... it is only as a Human Being that every Atman can liberate itself ... reach the 84 Lakh manifestation. Be it Swarga / Heaven or Naraka / hell ... to gain emancipation every atman soul has to take a body as a human being ... only then it can achieve Moksha Salvation. We are lucky to be born as a human being!

To be born as a human being means we have already crossed about 73 Lakh manifestations and a total cosmic life span of about 8 Caror 30 Lakh years. We started cosmic journey as an amoeba (the first manifestation as a single cell) and subsequently evolved into an insect, then a plant, an animal and finally a human being. It has taken about 73 Lakh manifestations to reach from amoeba to the level of a human being (a journey above 8 Caror 30 Lakh years).

In the cosmic hierarchy there is not much confusion ... the wisdom contained in the Bhagavad Gita is self explanatory ... if we follow truthfully the dictates of our atman the soul within ... we try to hear the promptings of the sweet small inner voice coming from within then we can always remain hopeful of completing cosmic journey within this life for, the voice of our atman the soul within shall never guide us on the wrong path.

Brahman Almighty God
The creator of the universe

Brahma is one of the three attributes of God Almighty. The two other attributes being the maintainer (god Vishnu) and the destroyer (god Shiva).

In hinduism Brahma god carries utmost significance yet in the history of mankind there is only one temple that has been dedicated to Lord Brahma. Lord Shiva has temples in every nook and corner of the world but deity Brahma has only one.

This single temple of god Brahma is located at Pushkar in India. Why is it so that only one temple is dedicated to Lord Brahma? Being the Creator of the cosmos we all owe our existence to god Brahma... yet there is only one temple, why?

Every human being nay every living being comes unto this world on its own. We never get created of our own sweet will. Everything is unto god Brahma's hand. One cannot be born on its own... all need the invisible hands of Lord Brahma to be born unto mother earth. So is the belief. If that is so... the need to worship Brahma does not seem to exist.

Why worship a god who conducts his affairs on his own. When the free will of a human being nay every living being is not considered at the time of beginning of life... why worship such a deity? This is the belief of every human being... the prime reason why Brahma is not being worshipped world-wide to the extent we worship Lord Shiva or other gods!

We worship one whom either we fear or consider involved in day-to-day affairs of life. We human beings by nature are very selfish. We are controlled by our senses and the mind which often prompt us on the path of deceit and things unethical. We never worship any god owing to reverence we have for that God.

We go to the temples and worship God for we desire/want to avail of his services in the times of need. Why else would a wanting human being lurch into a temple or a church knowing well that the time could be better spent in material pursuits of life.

Lord Brahma created the Cosmos and in the eyes of human beings that was the end of his job. Why pray to him for he has nothing further to bestow on mankind. Every human being lives a life of give and take. We never do things where returns are not promised. Why pray to god Brahma and spend our valuable time.

In the present Kali Yuga... the inherent greed plays the dominant role. Nishakama Karma (when a job is done without expecting anything in return) is rarely practiced. We often find huge gatherings in the discourses on Bhagavad-Gita but to implement what we hear is the problem. The materialistic tendencies existent within us forbid us to practice what we truly desire from within.
Brahma forms part of the Indian Trinity of Gods. Brahma is one and only one. This creative attribute of God Almighty is functional all the time yet it always remains unseen. For the Cosmos to exist... this creative aspect of God Almighty must continue to exist. In absence of god Brahma... the Cosmos would die its own death.

Every form of life on Earth nay in whole Cosmos owes its existence to Lord Brahma. This creative attribute of god Brahma comes into play with the start of a new cosmos... a new beginning. This happens after the dissolution of cosmos.

The end result of the dissolution of cosmos results in all souls / atmans in the cosmos uniting together in their pure from. This is the size of half a thumb as detailed in the most sacred document existing on Mother Earth... the Sacred Bhagavad-Gita.

Unable to retain itself for a long in its pure pristine form... the creative attribute of Almighty God... god Brahma (the size of half a thumb) explodes with a big bang. And starts the formation of a new cosmos... a new entity altogether. God Brahma has served its purpose. A new cosmos has begun its cosmic journey.

The manifest creative form of life is what god Brahma is all about! We must all with bowed hands pray to God Almighty for we all owe our existence to god Brahma.

Brahman: is totally different from the Gods we pray to in our normal course of Life. To comprehend the reality of the Absolute (Brahman) is just banned to ordinary Human Beings. Those on a path towards Self, God-Realization get a glimpse of his domain now and then ... the divine link which keeps the spark of self inquiry glowing within!

How much blessed are those ... Who see the Almighty in all its Cosmic glory!! The most beautiful of the beautiful ... is but a creation of his ... be it the beauty of the Nature, Science or a human being ... a perfect blonde in her teens!!! One who can create such beauty ... a Cosmos comprising of many Universes, a Universe comprising of many Milky ways and Galaxies, Milky ways and Galaxies having cluster of Stars exceeding tens of thousand in numbers! Among the Stars a small Star with nine Planets is our Solar system!! What Cosmic beauty ... what display of accuracy and control!! Not a single Star or Planet going out of control and dashing against another upsetting the Cosmic order and balance ... You can now imagine how mighty would he be!!!

Is a puny Human Being supposed to question his propriety? The most frequently asked question (FAQ) ... Why we were created! To suffer at his hands!! What an anomaly!!! Why would he who created us would lead us astray only to suffer ... Such is not ... his being. We underestimate and under evaluate him and continue doing our most heinous deeds! We try to shift the blame of our cowardice and inaction ... Still, the balance remains maintained.

Theory of Karma keeps the system of God perpetuating in full glory ... only to be rediscovered by an Avatar, a son of God after every 1000~2000 years! Only when such a mighty one unveils the Absolute Truth ... Do we shift the focus of blame from God to self and praise the Lord for what he is and shall continue to be.

Brahma is that attribute of God Almighty which resulted in the creation of the cosmos. Brahma is the Creative power of the cosmos in Hinduism.

Creator: "Brahman, the Creator" is one. Gods can be many. Brahman created the Universe and in it all Atmans (Souls). These Atmans manifest themselves in different forms to purify themselves. Once purified ... they attain Moksha (liberation). The purified Atmans have been accorded a status by the Society ... we call them God. Man Gods ... are those Human Beings, those jivas who in their Life time have liberated themselves from the cycle of birth and death and have become immortal (amar). They are known as amar for they shall not manifest again.

No living being can ever become immortal for the manifested form has a limited Life and with passage of time it biologically degrades. By controlling your breath with use of certain "Asanas" (Yogic exercises) you can never hope of becoming "immortal". If you’re normal Life is destined to be 70 years you may prolong it unto 200 years but what after!!! Moha (attachments) of the bodily frame shall ever keep you away from obtaining "Brahma-Jnana" for a realized soul wants to leave this body and attain liberation (moksha) at the earliest!

These liberated Souls who were top on the ladder and who also imparted "Brahma-Jnana", before leaving for the abode of God, the Creator were given the status of God ... for the messages coming out of their mouth were "Eternal messages - the texts contained in Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads and all Religions of the World". All these Human Gods were powerful enough - to invoke any message from the mighty reservoir of thoughts i.e. Mind plus. They never let any thought from Mind minus come nearby. Listening to them was for any mortal like hearing the voice of God - the creator, the Brahman himself. Adi Shankaracharya who interpreted the Vedas, Vedanta and the Bhagavad Gita is considered mighty ... for he also attained a near-God status by his bright revelations about the system of God.

Are you a slave of your Destiny
(How to take control of Destiny)

Destiny: Do you as a Human Being feel your destiny is controlled by Cosmic hands? What you shall get in future shall not be of your making but cause of a supernatural happening else where!!

No doubt sometimes you get results of your Karma immediately and feel the strings of your future are in your hands but, when you watch people with pious background getting tormented and put to miserable ends ... you think twice! Who is the Controller of the rewards and what his standards of his judgment are!!! Does he always judge people with an unbiased attitude or are there favours and displeasure’s to be shown. You wonder and get lost in the perennial Query disturbing all ... never able to get a reasonable answer from within. Will the correct answer evade you for ever? What is the measure of intelligence ... When shall the truth dawn upon you!

Some people say ... All answers can be found in Bhagavad Gita and the Upanishads! How shall I understand the Bhagavad Gita! Who shall explain it to me in a dialect I can understand! It seems to be so complex that even the so called Pundits do not seem to know the correct purport of it ... What then!!!

Aggarwal is a middle aged businessman. By Grace of God he seems to have learned the hidden truth? He is always cheerful and never gets affected even by the death of any. Be there a gain or loss, he is ever so cheerful ... It seems he is a Cosmic being on a Cosmic journey and Life on Earth is but a small sojourn for him. He seems to have a grip on his destiny ... That is what he all the time feels. He says he can be very rich but to what use!

We came empty handed and shall return empty handed ... What use of amassing wealth by orderly or dishonest means. Whatever is necessary to live a healthy and balanced Life he is able to do that much. Rest of the time he spends contemplating on God. He says "Till the time we do not know "Brahma Vidya" we feel a void in ourselves, as if we are two bodies cast in one but once you learn of the cosmic truth, your ‘I’ is gone and you are but pure consciousness".

According to him, every soul takes a body on Earth to continue its Cosmic journey and in that it prompts the body to do what is just and right (through dreams only!). Only then it shall enhance itself to the higher planes of mental achievement for, lies the "Brahm Vidya" on the highest plane of Mind power. By control of Mind power & acquiring Brahma Vidya says Aggarwal "Destiny is 100% under his control".

Why should we all follow the path taken by Aggarwal? If Aggarwal feels so it may be his personal case. The same may not be applicable to others!! He may be also wrong somewhere. Let us seriously try to understand what is destiny?

Let us measure all the achievements of a Human Being on a -100 - 0 - +100 scale. On -100 resides Satan and +100 denotes the Power of God. 0 is the level above which is born a Human Being and below which one gets the body of an insect, tree or an animal.

You are born in a family of a Brahmin priest on a starting scale of +42! Presume you get -4 points for committing a murder. Now, if you fall in bad company & become a dacoit and commit 11 murders in this Life ... What you expect to get but animal form at -2 in your next manifestation!! If you committed 2 murders and simultaneously earned +2 by your pious deeds then also you may be born in a lower caste family at -36 (considering that +40 is the lowest plane to be born a Brahmin).
Does this mean that one born in a lower caste family can not attain the status of godhood by realizing self in that very Life? It is not impossible but may be extremely difficult to attain Brahma Vidya in a single Life span as the amount of prayaschita (atonement required to wash out accumulated sins) required may be so huge that one may buckle under the pressure.

Is it difficult for an average Human Being to emulate Aggarwal! What are the factors directly affecting you in controlling your destiny!!

Step 1: Stop the inflow of negative thoughts

If you intake what is wrong.. How can the results be positive! It can best be explained in computer language "Garbage in, Garbage out" ... What you invoke all the time forms the basis for what your future is going to be!! Invoke positive thoughts all the time ... thoughts which wish welfare of one and all and without an exception. No foes ... all friends ... may be only in thought initially, but your future is going to be bright for you have rightly earned it. Your enemies may not think friendly of you but it does not matter! Thinking good of all ... all the time can never bring to you a future full of harm for you (all our actions are preceded by thoughts ... Good actions follow good thoughts).

God’s system is justly ordered. All Stars Galaxies and Universe would collapse the moment there is chaos in the Cosmos. In a justly ordered system all is serene and calm ... Peace reigns supreme. If you invoke good and positive thoughts all the time and have chosen a define aim of Life then the positive forces of nature shall help and nurture you to achieve your aim.

Step 2: Have a predetermined chief aim of Life

Without an aim in Life, your Life is like a rudderless boat which left to the mercy of forces of nature may either comes ashore or get Sunk in the process. Life shall fade away if it has no concentrated efforts to make ... Stagnation of thoughts breeds’ inefficiency.

Even though you may be pure in thoughts but you live a predestined Life ... A Life which you inherited owing to the Karmas of your previous births ... In this Life you can take control of Life by directing all your energies towards a single aim. If your aim in Life is earning money and living a comfortable Life there is nothing bad about it but, destiny has in store for you two things

(1) Take control of destiny and live this physical manifested Life comfortably else
(2) Invoke all the mighty powers of God and learn of "Brahma Jnana" and free yourself of the cycle of birth and death for ever.

In stage one you may become a Tata, Birla or a Ford, a true Karma Yogi like Vivekananda and in stage 2, you shall attain the status of a Jesus Christ, Gautama Buddha or Mahavira. Choice is yours. Both groups of people had destiny under their control but with different aims!!!

Step 3: Forgive others for ... It is not in their control to Forgive you

If you want to take control of thoughts entering your brain. You shall have to learn to Forgive others. Numerous thoughts fly past your brain every second. You invoke only those which appeal to you. You are having a heated argument with someone. You shall notice ... Thoughts of hatred and thoughts of goodwill getting transmitted to you. If you are in the habit of blaming others then by invoking thoughts of hatred you shall start abusing the person opposite you. If you are a person of a sound countenance, you shall invoke thoughts of a peaceful nature and tend to Forgive the other ... Why should you retaliate in the manner your opponent is behaving! If you want to achieve a certain aim in Life ... Your forgiving him shall only please God for in serving his pupils, you serve him.

Step 4: Atonement for all negative Karma’s accumulated in past lives!

What of the past Karma’s which stop you from achieving your aim? In your past Life you may have been the cause of injury to so many Atmans’ (Souls) and unless you atone for the sins committed in the past, you shall never be Forgiven. Praying alone to God ... will it serve the purpose? No, You have to be individually pardoned by all afflicted Atmans’. How do you know which Atman’s’ were they!

You do not come onto Earth on your own. You are born through your parents. You may have brothers and sisters ... Many more acquaintances as you proceed ahead in Life. Still not clear! You do not come in touch with strangers in your Life but only that Atman’s with whom you have some bondage from the past lives. One by one ask these Atman’s (in physical manifest form) to Forgive you for any sin committed in this or earlier lives and that too knowingly or unknowingly. The Atman within your body shall give a deep shiver as and when the negative affects of an Atman leaves you ... For your good and for never to affect you again.

Summary:

1. You have learnt the art of invoking only positive thoughts all the time.
2. You have a definite chief aim in Life to follow all the time.
3. You learn to Forgive people even if deliberate mischief or attempt has been made to anger or antagonize you.
4. You have learnt to negate all bad influences of this or earlier lives.

Compare the above to a plot of land consisting of jungle weeds growing haphazardly. You are bold enough to clear the field of all weeds. You are able to plough it afresh and after putting in manure and water etc. new seeds are sown in. What would be the outcome! A field full of desired plants with seedlings!! Is it not the bloom of your destiny!!!

Do not be hasty in your decisions. Be patient. Slowly and steadily you shall reap the reward of what you sow. Tatas, Birlas and Ford were not the product of a single day’s toil of sincere effort. All spent their initial years following the above four steps before they saw the spark of success.

Abuse none for you ever know when you shall have to atone for the sins committed knowingly or unknowingly. God is very graceful. His doctrines and facilities are available to one and all ... Irrespective of the caste creed or status you may hold. Wherever you are, whoever you are ... Do not loose time. Start practicing today for you can earn enough merit to break the cycle of births and death let alone becoming a Tata, Birla or a Ford. Never forget ... It is only Godly thoughts which shall earn you a place in heaven

Astrologers can only give a glimpse of what your destiny is going to be ... Based on the balance Karma brought forward by you till that moment. His prediction of the future can be totally falsified if you are one of those whose destiny is in his own grips. Your Karma’s will change so frequently that it will come as a surprise even to you ... and you would wonder if you are the same person compared to your self of yester years. One who learns to make his own destiny has all the treasures of Cosmos within his grasp and peeping deep into the Cosmic system one can unlock those doors, behind which lies the Essence of the cosmos, the Creator himself. What value is of Earth and its treasures when you are in the company of God, the Creator?

You shall thus initially attempt to gather material riches and when comes the time to penetrate deep in the treasure house of wisdom shall you partake of those jewels of sacred wisdom which guide you on to the path of "Nirvana Salvation". Once atman the soul within leaves this body it becomes pure Consciousness ... of the same Essence as the Creator himself. Not to be distinguished between the two ... You become a living Mahavira, Gautama Buddha or a Jesus Christ never to manifest again

Karma

Karma is that fundamental aspect of life which runs in the background yet controls the manifest destiny of every living being. Without karma the cosmic creation of almighty God, the cosmos itself would not exist. No individual being has his personal karma. As is being preached in the West... no individual ever has karma. The readings of karma can never be recorded by one. Nor can the best of astrologers and seers tell from experience what would be the shape of our karma in the future.

The Definition karma in short would be the process which results in the purification of our soul / atman within the body. The eradication of dross from within our soul atman is possible only because of inherent karma. The physical work we perform cannot be simply termed as karma. The residual balance of karma of every human being nay living being continues from one manifestation to another. If reincarnation would not have been there... karma itself would not have existed. The presence of karma confirms that reincarnation is not a myth but an absolute reality.

Before we discuss on the good karma and the bad karma, I would further elaborate upon the meaning of karma itself. Why at all karma had to be created by God Almighty in the first place. Can humanity survive in absence of karma? Can the cosmos itself survive in the absence of karma? If we look at karma from the beginning of time... a point in the creation itself when the big bang took place (It is now a confirmed fact that our present cosmos owes its existence to big bang theory and is not a misnomer). Now, God Almighty is about to explode with the big bang. The Definition God Almighty being the sum total of all purified souls / atmans in the cosmos at a given point of time.

Before the occurrence of the big bang all these purified souls atmans collect together to form the size of half a thumb as defined in Bhagavad Gita (the doctrine of Bhagavad Gita was given to the mankind by Lord Krishna in the battle of Mahabharata). This half the size of a thumb is the total size of the whole cosmos at the time of big bang. This powerful source of energy... God Almighty himself... the sum total of all purified souls / atmans unable to contain itself for long in a highly compressed state explodes with a big bang and starts the formation of a new cosmos. All souls' / atmans thus get scattered all over the cosmos.

These souls' / atmans in their cosmic sojourn gain impurities on the way. With a travel of over billions of years these souls' atmans finally settle down on a planet like mother earth which is conducive for germination of life. These souls' atmans cannot purify themselves on their own as the metal present in any ore. They need requisite mining machinery so that the metal can be separated from the impurities (dross) contained within. Here the role of karma comes into play. These souls' atmans have to manifest a body again and again until it purifies itself of all the impurities dross contained within.

Unless these souls' atmans work out their karma... the dross within any soul atman cannot be removed. And starts the journey of every soul atman! It is a total of 8.4 million manifestations these souls' atmans will have to pass through until they again come back to their pristine pure form. This journey of 8.4 million manifestations requires almost 96.4 million earthly years... a long journey indeed! During this journey of 8.4 million manifestations... the karma of one life gets passed on to the next life and this is how every soul atman tends to reduce the dross within. This process simply reconfirms the existence of reincarnation.

In simple terms... karma can be compared to that mining machinery which separates one K. G. of pure metal from the lump of hundred K. G. of ore. The 99% impurities existing within every soul atman gets removed only through process of Karma. There is no other alternative of karma in whole cosmos. Right from the first manifestation as an amoeba and to the last as an enlightened being... process of Karma decides what the next manifestation would be. As is the residual balance karma... so shall be the next life... the next manifestation!

Truly speaking... mangoes cannot grow on a guava tree. If the residual karma of the present life indicates that one shall be born in the house of a king in next manifestation then it will be so. None in whole cosmos including God Almighty interferes with process of Karma. How gratifying to a human being that our complete destiny is in our own hands. As we perform our karma... so shall our future be! As we sow so shall we reap... nothing more or less! In the domain of karma everything is justly ordered. Every human being manifests destiny simply as per the residual balance of karma of past lives.

The Kama Sutra theory confirms that if we desire to improve upon our life then our performance of karma in present life must be in accordance! However there is one analogy which must be firmly understood here. Whatever physical work or karma we perform in present life may not manifest in next manifestation itself.

As God Almighty desired it... the manifestation of karma is governed by the non deviating laws of karma. It is any manifestation henceforth wherein our performance of karma in one of the earlier manifestations may fructify. This is how we say someone has been lucky. Or someone has won a lottery. This luck or winning of the lottery is not related to our deeds or karma of the present life but of one of the earlier manifestations we have lived. Whatever deeds or karma we perform in present life may yield results in next manifestation itself or many manifestations beyond. This is the firm doctrine of karma. This doctrine of karma has to be firmly understood. No deviations allowed!

This aspect in the karmic theory is what troubles most human beings. This aspect of karma rather takes the sap out of life itself. As human beings do not digest the facts that the performance of the karma of the present life will not yield results immediately thereafter! We start thinking, "if the fruits of my karma are not available to me in present life then what use performing my karma diligently". Here we fail to understand that dictates in the cosmic system are affected by God Almighty.

The existence of a human being is because of our soul atman within our body. We fail to understand that it is the soul atman that has taken the body and never otherwise. It is our soul atman within the body which is on its cosmic journey. The existence of the body is just a passing phase in the life of a soul atman. A total journey of 8.4 million manifestations indicates that the soul atman within our body shall manifest a total of 8.4 million bodies in various life forms. Having been born a human being confirms that our soul within the body has already manifested a total of 7.3 million bodies. In the human form alone we have a total of 1.1 million variations (manifestations).

It is indeed a long journey towards gaining enlightenment and finally salvation. The prime reason why in a hundred years or more only one or two persons gain enlightenment!

The path of pure spirituality is best lived by performing the best of karma... the good karma all the time. Performance of bad karma would lead to our incurring the wrath of God. If we have manifested the body of a human being in present life... the bad karma performed in this life may lead us back to the animal form and in extreme cases to the insect form or the plant life. The teachings of Mahavira (the 24th Tirthankara of Jainism) confirm this. Why perform a karma that shall negate the very essence of existence of life!

Performance of good karma is not only our prerogative but a must for every human being nay every Jiva (living being). If we do not perform good karma in present life then our behaviour affects us and only us. In the cosmic system the performance of karma by a human being nay every living being for that matter is limited to the individual self.

My performance of good karma or bad karma is not least related to any other soul atman in the cosmos. This aspect of life is corroborated by Bhagavad Gita... the doctrine put forward by Lord Krishna in Mahabharata. In Bhagavad Gita it has been stated that no soul atman is ever related to any other soul atman. The doctrine of karma is based on precisely this surmise. As the performance of the karma by an individual never gets transferred from one individual to another... no soul atman is ever connected to another soul atman.

In the circumstances why not be all human beings continue performing good karma throughout life so that the next manifestation by the soul atman within our body would be at its best. The next manifestation what it would be by our soul atman within the body is directly related to the performance of the karma by the body in present life.

I truly appreciate one song from Hollywood which states something like, "what shall I be... I be... I be! And the mother confirms to the daughter that this factor in life is totally unknown. And indirectly indicates to her that we all human beings are required to continue doing our best in life. The doctrine of karma must never be taken for granted in life. It is the seeds of karma we sow in this life that shall fructify in future manifestations.

Now I would like to clear the notion that physical deeds alone do not comprise of karma! The physical deeds performed by a body constitute a major part of karma of the individual but it is the performance of mental karma which finally governs the game.

Whatever we think finally controls the karma of an individual. If we are a positive thinker throughout in life... then we definitely need to cheer about it! Performance of good physical deeds and remaining positive all the time eventually leads to performing good karma all the time. Most of the times on the earthly domain people continue performing bad karma in the mental state. I may behave normally with a human being but mentally I may totally detest one. This would lead to negative karma furthering the goal of our soul atman within.

The performance of karma by human being must be so that the journey of our soul atman within the body is cut short. We must always remember that the body has been taken by our soul atman within and never vice versa. It is only the performance of the good karma that can lead to our soul atman gaining liberation from the cycle of birth and death at the earliest.

I again repeat that our soul atman desires reaching the stage of salvation (Nirvana in Buddhism), (moksha in Hinduism) at the earliest. It is performance of our karma and karma alone which shall decide the destiny of our soul atman within the body. The body can never dictate to the soul atman within. If our human ego dominates then we are only prolonging the journey of the soul atman within the body. The loss of soul atman is the loss of us. Our soul atman within the body is the real essence of us. We simply cannot neglect the soul atman within our body.

In the present Kali Yuga one finds that the super ego of a human being is often bloated with wanton desires and materialistic riches in life. Here we fail to understand that the materialistic riches gained in present life can never be carried to the next manifestation. Everything so gained materialistically in present life... all would be left behind when comes the time for leaving the mortal frame!

It is only the balance of karma that shall continue to the next life. The residual balance of karma of the present life becomes governing in the cosmic system of life. It is only the serious seekers of spirituality who understand this truth. Those drowned in the materialistic riches and wants do not care. It is only when they get born with deformities in next life that we find beggars on the streets.

Summarizing all... it is the performance of good karma all the time which shall decide what our destiny would be in next life. Unless and until we detach ourselves from the desires of the materialistic riches... we are simply prolonging the journey of our soul atman within. And this sometimes leads to severe headaches and pains as our soul atman within the body is governing. Whenever the body does anything to the contrary our soul atman reflects it on the body.

And this is what Yoga and meditation is all about. By performance of Yoga meditation we are simply trying to coordinate and synthesize a rapport between the body and the soul atman within. As long as the body works in coordination with the soul atman within... all is well for the soul atman within and also for the body.

Finally performance of good karma is essential for one to live a happy life full of joy and bliss!
